Fountaindale Christmas in July

Christmas in July decorations and night time festive lights at Fountaindale, with the wonderful help from Chas Clarkson. If you don't know their name, you will know their product.

We have been working with Chas Clarkson since last year on the all
the special effects and decorations for our Christmas in July event.

Coty Farquhar, our creative director was completely overwhelmed when she visited their
warehouse early this year. Coty said,
"There was Christmas bling everywhere, miles and miles of beautiful bling,
....and for a stylist, that's heaven"

Coty has thousands of baubles and Christmas bling in her studio that she is
transforming into her own special designed display for Fountaindale Grand Manor.

Chas Clarkson was founded in 1893 in the UK and then moved to Australia in 1900,
they are just a little older than Fountaindale Grand Manor. Can you just imagine all the beautiful
decorations that they had back at the turn of the century, Antique Christmas decorations
are so collectible now. I wonder if they have some old samples, we must ask.

We are so pleased to announce that Chas Clarkson are creating a wonderful display for outside in the garden and for our night time lighting display.

There will be wonderful lights on our building
and some very special touches throughout the garden and the hotel.

We are so excited to see all the 'pretty lights' and we just can't wait to be able to flick the switch
and turn on the lights and light up Robertson and of course open our Christmas in July 2012.

Come and visit us late in the day, come for dinner or stay the night
..... and remember, it's winter so the sun sets early.
We will have all the lights on by 5pm each day.

Meet Murphy - Our special Christmas in July friend!!

Hi everyone, this is Murphy...a three year old Bearded Collie,
and a very excited dog who is ready to play at Fountaindale's Christmas in July.

Murphy is the next door neighbour to Coty Farquhar our
Creative Director of the 'Christmas in July' event
and he came to her studio last week after being at the 'Doggy Hair dressers' to visit.

He was very proud to wear this Christmas bow and pose for the camera.
Murphy comes from a fabulous family of ""Christmas Decorators"" who for many years
have decorated their home with lights and festive decorations for all to see
so Murphy is used to all the bling.

We think he looks just beautiful!!

Christmas in July at Fountaindale Grand Manor at Robertson - Ice skating in the historic gardens. We are so excited to announce that we will have a huge 17 metre x 18 metre ice rink for the two weeks from Saturday 30th June to the 15th July 2012 - Fun for all ages...and especially fabulous for children on the school holidays.

One of the most exciting features of our Christmas in July event is to be the shopping on the 1st floor.

Though it will be tempting to stay on the ground floor with our roaring fires,
feasting on our fabulous Christmas Fare and delightful High Teas.
You will find it impossible not to want to go up our grand staircase to the first floor
where Fountaindale Grand Manor will be transformed into a wonderful floor full of shops.

Fashion for both men and women, beauty, home wares,
jewellery, antiques, vintage treasures, Christmas decorations,
hand made items, children's toys and more.

All the suites, some large and some small will filled to the brim
with fabulous products for sale.

You will also be amazed by the views from the large windows looking out into every direction across the surrounding countryside of Robertson and the Southern Highlands.

It's a perfect location for a day of shopping and it's only available in the month of July.

Along with the shops, the hallway of the Manor on the 1st floor
will be turned into a gallery and filled with Southern Highlands local art,
as well as other special artists.
