I made this podcast for a group blog I am involved with called Magic Violence, and thought I would share it with my friends over here (surprise, first post in like a year!). It is a mix of music by people who post to the blog (including myself doing an all drum cover of Bizarre Love Triangle, Coyote Clean Up, etc), as well as some requests from the users as well.

Hey dudes and dudettes,

It's been a while, and while I occasionally try to start up a new podcast I usually just end up doing something else. Even though I have been slacking (as all of you have been), my good friend Christian Sienkewicz (you may know him from my previous band Kalkaska, or his DJ stints around Detroit as Ice Cold Chrissy) produced this KILLER mix that I thought I would share with you. It has it all... from The B-52's to various Detroit techno staples to Feist to whatever, all wrapped up in a pretty rad package. Here you kids go, it is time to enjoy "Sloppy Spring Fling Mix Vol. 2." Hope you dig it as much as I do.

I don't know how lazy I have been about this Melissa. I have been actively crafting this fine podcast for a couple weeks now. I think what is really lazy is Seth posting a podcast theme suggestion, but not actually posting a podcast. That is some lazy shit right there.

Anyways, here is my August get down mix. I wanted it to be longer, because I rarely break that half hour barrier on my podcasts, but I'm giving the kids what they want right this second.

This mix is something I dredged the lowly, cavernous, mp3 directories on a backup drive where some tracks were found via Slsk, and a few were suggested to me by the glorious Monia. Classy met her at one ATP. Without further ado, and using the mantra 'Don't do it right, just do it now', I give you the mix by the same name.

As I am currently learning how to make the podcast, and find the means to host the EXTENDED version of the mix - complete with a mix by Mo herself, and a haunting *hidden track* - be patient until that link is posted here for those who realize that the website that is currently hosting my mix isn't the best option around.

Well, something like that at least. Owl E. and I decided to do battle of the mix variety, with an impartial party (Alvion) providing with a theme. The rules: 45 minutes, starting at 11:04 PM to compile a 12 song mix relating to the provided theme.

i am pretty sure it would take me more than the entire song (7:24) to process exactly what is happening with the album cover art. enjoy. (i actually kind of love the song at 3:24 when they get into the "burn it up (mr. dj)" chorus. but it takes so long (3:24) to get there.
