Hey Folks,

Once again, good times were had this past weekend at Red Devil Lounge. Thanks to all our SF peeps for making it such a fun night! We also had a blast Sunday night participating in the Rally for Ally concert at the Mystic Theatre and are happy to report it was a HUGE success!

FREE SHOW ON SATURDAY! This SATURDAY, 5/26, we kick off our summer outdoor schedule with our fourth consecutive 97.7 The River's Summer Concert Series in the Village Court at Montgomery Village Mall in Santa Rosa. It's FREE & All Ages are welcome for this afternoon show. We'll be performing two sets of your favorite Tom Petty songs from 12-3PM.

COMING UP: Calling all East Bay folks! We're making our Pittsburg, CA debut at a new and happening live music venue: E.J. Phair Brewing Company's "Tap Room" on SATURDAY 6/2. C'mon down and tap into some good brew and some good tunes. Purchase Advance Tickets Here.

We’ll be hanging out in Joplin, MO this weekend with some of the coolest artist. We’ve been big supporters of Convoy of Hope. So we are excited to be a part of the festival this year. With less than three weeks to go to the start of EURO 2012 and Irish fans first real opportunity for ten years to get the Ole, Ole, Ole's well and truly going Dance To Tipperary are delighted to announce the official launch of Ole, Ole, Ole (Euro 2012 Remix).

Ole, Ole, Ole has become the Irish peoples song at all major football championships and even other sports.

Following the 1990 FIFA World Cup Finals in Italy summer 2002 saw World Cup fever reach Ireland for the second time when Ireland reached the 2002 FIFA World Cup Finals.

Dance To Tipperary want to make a fan video of Ole, Ole, Ole (EURO 2012 Remix) for Euro 2012 similar to this video by the band Feeder and their fans which they did a few years ago.

Simply film yourself miming to any 30 seconds of Dance To Tipperary's Ole, Ole, Ole (EURO 2012 Remix) with no edits as we will do that and send to us as outlined below.

We'll pick our favourite bits and do the rest and include in our video for Ole, Ole, Ole (EURO 2012 Remix) along with footage of our own.

You can be solo, in a group or with friends but you must wear some green or your favourite Irish shirt.

When the video is complete Dance To Tipperary will pick our favouite cameo performance and the sender will receive a brand new iPad with Wi-Fi 32GB - white.

The video will get it's premiere on Dance To Tipperary's DJ SET Official YouTube Channel TippDJ on June 5th and will also be added to Facebook, Twitter, delivered to Vevo and other popular video outlets.

The closing date for video entries is end of day on Friday June 1st 2012.

Ramblin' Jack is on his way back from a very successful annual Mud Tour of the East - where he was mentioned in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal while on the road... (Google him!!)

Jack has done a fantastic track with Loudon Wainwright III entitled "Double Lifetime" that is getting rave reviews. A wonderful collaboration of two of America's folk/Americana gems. Run, don't walk and go get this amazing recording of Loudon's; 'Older Than My Old Man Now' on 2nd Story Sound Records.

Jack will take a much needed rest for a few weeks before he goes down to visit his Texas fans at the end of June. Please note new dates posted today for June and July. Much more to come in August and September - so check the site often!!

I am recording a CD of some of my favorite covers called "Under the covers" with legendary Chicago producer Jim Tullio (John Martyn, The band, Mavis staples, Los lonely boys etc). Some of the songs are: Philladelphia by Neil Young, Martha by Tom Waits, Parasite by Nick Drake, Dont want to know by John Martyn, Going to California by Led Zeppelin, Exit Music by Radiohead, Hey thats no way to say goodbye by Leonard Cohen, Walk on by By Burt bacharach for Dionne Warwick, etc. It should be done in a month or so and out in the next 3-4 months. Jim Tullio produced the legendary John Martyn for 20 years who is my hero. The point of this record is similar to the Johnny cash records with Rick Rubin. To show my voice, bare and raw and unusual.

Here's a little walkthrough video of the abandoned church we are recording in.

So far we have the drumkit set up and are trying out mic placements. The challenge of recording in a place like this is that you have to figure everything out as you go. The room sounds incredible though, and we're going to take advantage of the acoustics as much as we can.
