In it are the people, places, and things that have made the town what it is today. Come see Franklin in all its glory -- its prehistory, its colonial roots, its industrial beginnings, its cultural past and present. Come see your grandfather marching in a parade, or find that picture of your mother in a high school yearbook! You never know what you'll find.

Highlights!
Come visit our new Facebook page for pictures and updates about what's happening:

Do you know the story of Franklin?
Eamon McCarthy Earls is a native of Franklin, a student at UMass Amherst, and the author of three books. His latest is "Franklin: From Puritan Precinct to 21st Century ‘Edge City’". The book is a highly enjoyable and engaging story of the Town of Franklin, from its prehistory to the Present.

In the coming days, copies of this wonderful book will be on sale at the Museum's gift shop, or you can buy it on Amazon:

Question of the month:

Was there ever a gold mine in Franklin? (Hint: answer can be found in the book mentioned above!)
