I am holding my very first CT call! I am looking for a few ladies to help me grow as a designer and to help promote my designs!

Hope you all are having a great year so far! There are still 2 blog trains active, please scroll down to grab those pieces and thanks to everyone for all the nice comments, I really appreciate them! I really slacked off in November and December with my organization and planning so I am trying to get caught up and start anew in the new year. I also have some other things I want to do, but I have to get caught up first! Since I was naughty in December about blogging, I am going to post all of my pages from that month, and a couple from November. It isn't too many. I really scrapped a lot less this year than in the past few years. Maybe I'm getting old! lol I normally complete around 365 pages and in 2011 I only did 247, which is a big drop. But that is ok! Each page is clickable to see the credits.

Tomorrow is our Primary Program. Our kids have been practicing 8 songs all year long. And tomorrow they get to sing these songs in front of the congregation. And I get to lead them in song. I'm trying not to think of it. If I do, I may freak out. Like freak the freak out. So I have been staying busy by designing and scrapping. I know the kids will do fine, I'm worried about me screwing up royally!!! Like forgetting all the words to the songs! HAHA! So here are some pages I have done recently to get my mind off singing. Soccer Stars!

I am so excited to show you my new releases this week! Inspired by my son and his soccer jerseys, plus some of the other teams in his league! This collection is perfect for any soccer photos you have! There are six kits in the collection. Each includes the Soccer Basics: the green/black/white kit, plus the colorful kit! These kits are huge! Each has 22 papers, 99 elements and 4 full alphas! And all new releases are 30% off until Sunday night!

Soccer Fury was the original mini kit, created for a design contest. It uses the colors from my son's uniform this past year. It's been extended to huge proportions! The kit is so big, I couldn't fit it all in one preview, I had to have two previews! Here's a peep at the green Soccer Basics, which comes with each colorful kit. Below it is Soccer Fury in use. I used the photos that the original colors were taken from. I love how the grass on the bottom photo matches the background perfectly! Little things like that please me!!

They barely fit on 2 previews! But I couldn't stop there, so I have Soccer Lyons, which matches my son's first year of soccer uniform. You can see his 5 year old cuteness on my page!

And Soccer Huskies. Last year, he was given this very bright blue uniform. It seems really really bright all together in a preview, but it looks great mixed with the green and even some other accent colors, especially the dark blues in Soccer Storm (below)! Here it is in action using primarily the Huskies kit, with some Basics and a touch of Storm!

My son has played for 4 years and you have seen all his colors now! (Two years ago he was green, and also a Huskie.. he was a Huskie twice!) But I figured that other moms would have other soccer colors, so I took some colors from his opponent's jerseys too, and used their team names as well! Our toughest opponent this year was the blue team named Storm. They were the only team that beat us this season! We were very lucky to have some great players on our team this year!

I wanted to have a red kit, because red is a popular color. And I had a nice photo of a boy from the red team. And when I pulled out colors from his uniform, they were pink! *gasp* So here is the "red" team which is now the pink team, called the Hurricanes. I thought the colors were so pretty, that I had to make the kit. Plus we've seen several pink teams out there!

So I had to find my own red colors. But then my red name was gone! So I cheated and used the name of the green team this year, since green was the Basics! So sneaky am I!!! But I figured that the Vipers needed something fun, they were not very lucky this year... they didn't win any games. Poor kiddos! I used the Basics kit and the Vipers on this page of him in his green uniform.

One of the things I love best about this series is the alphas. I think they are so cute! And they are not themed at all, so I decided to make an alpha set of all of them. This set includes NINE full alphas with uppercase, lowercase, numbers and some punctuation. Remember that each kit has the matching color plus the green, black and white alphas in them!

Happy veterans day to all those wonderful men and women in service. Thank you. Today would also have been my grandmother's birthday. If she were still with us, she'd be about 105 now heh. I always thought it was so cool that her birthday was on Veteran's day (although she was born long before it was a holiday!), plus her husband was born on Lincoln's birthday (being from Illinois, that's an important day for us!) and they were married on Bastille Day (French independence day). Anyhoooo! On to today's new releases! Both of these were prizes given out at last week's grand opening extravaganza at With Love Studio! If you didn't get a chance to snag them then, they are now available in my shop!
