Starting to familiarize myself more with Ableton and in this mix I focused on a staccato technique with my transitions from song to song. You’ll see that I use vocalized words and chopped them up or played off of words as well. Reason I called it ‘Prelude To Your Night Out’ was because I imagined people getting ready for the club or driving to it. Hope you like it.

]]>Kept it upbeat with some new music and some old. Still with the same concept as Outta Your Mind. Hype and exciting is what I went for with this one.
Also big ups to ever artist I used to make this mix but some that really come out to me was Jay-Z’s On to the next One, Belly - Hot Girl, and Eminem - Cinderella Man, Clinton Sparks - Favorite DJ with DJ Class, and finally Young Money - Roger That. All of these tracks really impressed me because lyrics really came together with the beats.
Final thoughts about this mix was I was having some trouble picking songs because of my previous Outta Your Mind mix. Lot of hot tracks out there. But back to the point after Roger That I wanted to do Eminem and Rihanna’s track Love the Way You Lie but like i wrote above I like to keep things hype and exciting. Don’t get me wrong this Love the Way You Lie track is great and being played on the radio stations alot but it just wasn’t as (trite) clubbish as I wanted it to be. I like using tracks that I play in the clubs.
