It started as a mixtape project between Florida based Ultra Music Festival DJ Brian ‘Docta’ Dawe, and his California based DJ partner DJ Spillz. Soon it turned into a full production with multiple original tracks, remixes, and edits. After enlisting the help of the past #1 ranked unsigned MySpace Hip-Hop artist J. The first track is a mashup/remix using well-known elements of some big tracks of the day. It was created on an early version of Acid, and was also one of my first forays into computer editing/remixing. This mix has soul and staying power to this day.
