Short weekend in Hong Kong was fun. Shopped around a lot of course. Saw movies. Ate nice food. Like a weekend in Hong Kong should be. Taken some pics on the streets. Just snapshots. Should do that more often and I will.

The Avengers are there

Seeing The Avengers at midnight was a interesting experience. The movie was a blast. I love it. Then leaving the cinema through a totally emptied out Mall was unreal. Another unreal experience was leaving another cinema after watching Lockout. Not so impressive movie btw. The cinema was on the 10th floor. Upstairs was mainly escalator and some stairs. But leaving we had to walk all the way down via the staircase. How’s that for accessibility?
The photos are of a display in a mall picturing The Avengers. Yes, it’s everywhere. Go see it.

MixC Mall and such

Today walked around the area of KK Mall and MixC Mall in Shenzhen. The MixC Mall was the most impressive one. I don’t like the to expensive “big” brands Prada, Louis Vutton, D&G. And there was only that at KK Mall. MixC Mall had a more interesting mix of shops. And was much much larger. It was like there never came an end to all the shops! All in all it was a relaxing day. Now waiting to have dinner with Jordan.

Waiting for the flight to bring me back from Sanya to Shenzhen, I thought it is a good time to post a collage of pics taken in Shenzhen before I left. It is an interesting city and different from Shanghai and Hong Kong. More working class than high class, if I’d had to label it. Well, just my experience this far. Will see if the coming weeks will change my views.

Aggressive photo shoot

“Can be a real bitch”
Yesterday’s shoot at the studio was themed lovely, colorful and aggressive. We build a bit of a seventies styled setting with the little means we have and hoped it would look the real deal. It was fun and inspiring. This picture is a quick first impression. Still have a lot of photos to organize and retouch.
