Once upon a time
there was a precious sword. Now, this sword belonged to a great King,
and for as long as anyone could remember, the King spent all his time in
his palace, enjoying his shows and parties. One day a great dispute
broke out between this King and the King of a neighbouring country. It
ended with both declaring war.
The sword was greatly excited at the prospect of taking part in its
first real battle. It would show everyone how truly brave and special it
was, and would become renowned throughout the kingdom. On the way to
the front line, the sword imagined itself the winner of many battles.
However, when they arrived, the first battle had already taken place,
and the sword got to see the results of war. What it saw had nothing in
common with what the sword had imagined. No elegant shining knights,
triumphant, with their weapons gleaming in the sunlight. Instead, all
the sword saw was broken weapons, and hordes of hungry and thirsty men.
There was hardly any food left. Everything was covered in dirt and
shrouded in a disgusting smell. Many were half dead and scattered on the
ground, bleeding from multiple wounds...
At this, the sword realised it liked neither wars nor battles. It
decided it preferred to live in peace and spend its time taking part in
tournaments and competitions. So, on the night before what was going to
be the big final battle, the sword tried to find a way to prevent it
from taking place. After a while, the sword started to vibrate. First it
gave out a low buzz, but this gradually got louder, until it became an
annoying metallic noise. The swords and armour of the other soldiers
asked the King's sword what it was doing. It told them "I don't want
there to be a battle tomorrow. I don't like war".
One answered, "No one likes it, but what can we do?"
"Make yourself vibrate, just like I'm doing", said the King's sword. "If we make enough noise no one will sleep."
So the weapons started vibrating, and the noise became deafening. It
was so loud that it reached the enemy camp, and the weapons there, who
were equally sick of the war, joined the protest.
The next morning, when the battle should have begun, not a single
soldier was ready to fight. No one had managed to get even a wink of
sleep, not even the Kings or the Generals. So they spent the whole day
catching up on sleep. During the evening they started to wake up, and
decided to put off the battle for the next day.
However, the weapons, led by the King's sword, spent the night
repeating their peace song, and again no soldier could rest. The battle
had to be postponed yet again, and this carried on for the next seven
days. On the evening of the seventh day, the Kings of the two armies met
to see what they could do about the situation. Both were furious from
their previous dispute, but after being together for a while they
started to discuss their sleepless nights, the surprise on their
soldier's faces, the confusion of day with night, and the amusing
situations all this had created. It wasn't long before both were
laughing, like friends, at these little stories.
Fortunately, they forgot their old disputes and they put an end to
the war, each returning to their own land with the double joy of not
having had to fight, and having regained a friend. And from then on,
from time to time the Kings would meet up to talk about their
experiences as Kings. They now understood that the things which united
them were much more numerous than anything that set them apart from each
other.
she flitted to find her friends. She fell like a stone, illuminated by the
lightening bolts, that would not stop. The storm showed no mercy for Tintagel or
    it's gentle creatures.

The fae landed with a bump near an outcropping of cottoneaster that grew on the margin
between the meadow and the Forest of Real. She heard a cry of fear coming from deep
within the prickly bushes. Peering into the thicket she saw a tiny quivering
    ball of gray fur.

Quickly she walked between the thorns moving deeper and deeper into the thicket. In
the very heart of the prickly web she found Willowby the rabbit. "Oh, do come
out Willowby, before you injure yourself in the thorns," she pleaded.

"I'm afraid," he squeaked.

"Please don't be afraid, Willowby. Lightening can't really hurt you in
Tintagel, unless you let it. This is a world of imagination and love. If we
fear, then the fear will grow. We make our own reality here, pay it no heed,"
she said stroking his furry paw.

The rabbit wanted to believe the fae but could not move, his fear had so overtaken his
common sense. "I will stay with you, Willowby but you know the fear will grow
if we do not face it. Come, let's face it together," she pleaded. "I
    promise to stay with you."

Slowly, Willowby moved through the thicket trying not to catch his fur on the thorns.
Every now and then he would wince as his fur was caught. He moved forward
following the fae, not knowing what else to do. Finally the pair found
themselves on the edge of the meadow, as the thunder crashed and rumbled overhead.
The rabbit looked as if he wanted to return to the thicket but suddenly stiffened his
    resolve.

The Wee One and Willowby sat silently watching the dancing bolts of light. Neither
said a word for some minutes. Finally the rabbit asked what they were to do.
    "Nothing," the fae replied.

"Nothing?" Willowby quizzed.

"Hmmmmmm, it will look like nothing but it is really something very important."

"What is that?" The rabbit said with a tremble in his voice.

"We are going to face the fear and let it move through us, Willowby. It looks
simple but it is sometimes very difficult because you want to run away. To run would
be silly for the fear would just find you again. It is best to just face it and get
    it over with, Willowby."

As the two friends sat watching, the lightening bolts began to move off far over the Land
of Real. "Do we have to stay here forever, Wee One?"

"No, I think it is time to go about our lives now, Willowby. The thing has gone
and we have faced it together. Let's go play in the meadow. Last one there is
    a mud pie."
The
Wee One, sat in her thinking place, puzzling. The purple hyacinths grew behind the moss
covered rock she sat upon. She was wondering if what she wanted to do was the
right thing. The longer she sat in her thinking spot, the more she believed
her idea was a good one. With her mind made up to do something she had never done before,
the tiny fae took flight on golden wings.

The fae flitted high into the air over the giant oaks and beyond the meadow. She
fluttered down on the shore of the Sparkling Lake. The Wee One walked from
one stone to another, towards a very large rock. It stood above the others, like a
beacon. She hesitated for a moment before whispering to the stone.
Suddenly it appeared to rise a little into the air.

The Wee One walked under the stone. A golden box sat beneath it. Quickly
she lifted the lid of the box. A Spirit filled the tiny crystal box the fae
now held in her hand. As the fae walked out from under the great stone, it settled
down once again. Without a moment’s hesitation she took to the air. The
fae flitted to her home in the ancient oak, the crystal box now safely in her
    pocket.

Once home, the Wee One set the box on her mushroom table. The
fireflies gathered overhead. The crystal box glittered like diamonds.
With trembling hands the Wee One opened the box. Suddenly, before her stood a
beautiful Spirit. “Will you help me?” The Wee One pleaded. The Spirit did
not so much speak, as it thought. The Wee One knew, the Spirit would
    help her.

“We shall begin our journey now,” the spirit thought. *poof*
In a twinkling, both the Spirit and the Wee One were transported to a city, in the Land of
    Real.

The Wee One was not prepared for what she saw when they materialized. It was a
place that had things called buildings. Some of the buildings were as
tall as the Magic Mountain. The air smelled odd and tasted funny. There
was not a tree or flower to be seen. “I am frightened,” the fae whispered
to the Spirit. “Is this where the children come from?”

“Yes,” the Spirit replied. The Wee One shivered a bit, but the
Spirit thought, “It will be okay, I’m with you.” “Now quickly
before it gets light open your pouch and do what you have come to do.”

The Wee One reached deep into her pouch and gathered a handful of faerie dust. With
the Spirit by her side, she sprinkled the magic dust everywhere. When they had
finished the Spirit thought again. “You have done well wee fae, for a first
effort; now watch!” Quietly, a gentle rain began to fall. The
Spirit smiled, for the sprinkles began to grow flowers and trees everywhere they settled.

As the sun began to rise the city was ablaze with the color of beautiful flowers, twining
green vines and stately trees. From far beyond the city a rainbow
appeared and held the city in its arc. The Spirit thought. “It will
make them happy wee fae, it truly will.” In a twinkle the Wee One
and the Spirit sat together on a spire overlooking the city. They
watched, as the children, the young and the old came out of their houses. All looked
about them with smiles and wonder. The city was now bursting with the beauty
of flowers and the songs of birds in the young trees.

“It is time to go now,” the Spirit thought. The Wee One nodded her head.
*poof* In a twinkle the two friends were back on the shore of the Sparkling Lake.
The Spirit returned to the golden box beneath the magic rock. The Wee One
sighed to see the Spirit go, but she knew the Spirit would always be present for
    those in need of her.

In a whisper the Wee One said, “thank you for helping me... Hope.”
The sun shines on the magic forest. It also shines
on a giant oak tree, many centuries old. It’s in this tree that Miri’s family
lives. Miri is a young Fairy, she’s very small, barely a few centimeters(A couple of
inches) like all the fairies of her race.
Miri loves that tree with the many cavities sculpted with art
and dedication. But with the respect for the survival of the living tree, of course.
The problem is that poor Miri is suffering from a
mysterious illness. The magician healer was very upset. He had never encountered any such
sickness before. He searched the memory books left by previous magician-healers to no
    avail unfortunately.
The little fairy, courageously continued to believe, in
spite of her suffering, that she would heal. Winter was long for little Miri who, from her
bed entertained her friends. She could not stand sorrow so she kept her morale up. With
spring came a hope, as fragile as the eggs in the nest.
The healer had discovered a cure. But it was the powder
that rests on the wings of butterflies. Hundreds maybe even thousands of butterflies, would
be needed to harvest sufficient quantities for the medicine for Miri. Miri’s father
was at the inn with his friend. He was discussing the problem of which no one seemed to
know the solution. It was a sad day for Miri’s father.
A stranger seated at a neighboring table, approached them
discreetly as the custom prescribes. He told Miri’s father; ”I think I can help
    heal your daughter”.
“Stranger, if you can accomplish that,
I’ll give you everything you want”
“I have no need for everything, all I need is
    work.”
“Are you a healer?”
“No a gardener, if you hire me I guarantee
that your daughter will be healed by the end of summer."
The honest tone and truthful gaze in the eyes of
the gardener convinced Miri’s father to give him a chance. He had nothing to loose
    and Miri all to win...
From her window, Miri looked at the gardener work,
an old man with the precise movements acquired along a lifetime dedicated to the love of
plants. The gardener planted lilac trees in many shades. He even planted unknown plants,
bushes and flowers with strange, mysterious names that brings visions of exotic places.
The old man told Miri that soon, he assured her, it would
translate into a symphony of colors and textures that will perfume the air. He had such a
pleasurable expression as he said it, that Miri was certain “HE” could smell it
already. Miri observed as the young sprout escaped the soil, as the tender green shoots
grew. Soon flower buds appeared followed by the most beautiful blooms.
The gossipers were having a good time. “Shameful, he
buys himself a garden while his daughter, poor girl, lay sick and all. Shameful, I tell
    you.”
Then one warm day, attracted by the selected flowers
butterflies came, more and more of them kept coming to invade the garden. The gardener
installed a lawn chairs in the clearing and installed Miri comfortably in it.
Miri received a shower of the powder falling from
the wings of the butterflies. The powder was of many colors shining in the sun. The rays
of the sun reflected in the fine powder.
The clearing was bathed in the light and in that light
Miri’s healing… In a week Miri was cured. Her delicate wings shone brightly
again. Her face had regained her healthy colors and above all her smile was resplendent.
And this is how Miri got her name: “MIRI THE BUTTERFLY FAIRY”
fairy. Nobody knows you see because I never transform around other people. My name is
Pixie and I am a green fairy. You see in the fairy tribe I come from they have three
different types of fairies: the purple fairy, the green fairy and the yellow fairy. The
purple fairies are the queen fairies the fairies that live inside the Queen fairies
castle. The green fairies are just normal fairies and the yellow fairies are people such
    as nurse fairies etc...

I am glad I am a green fairy because I get to do
whatever I like and I have a really nice fairy house inside a giant mushroom. I usually
transform at night when nobody is around. I started transforming into a fairy one day when
I was about 9 and I think it was because I ate this crab apple and you're not supposed to
eat them! I am 11 now so that was 2 years ago. Now that I'm a fairy it gives me the
ability to fly around which is great because at night I go to all my friends houses and
    check that they are okay.
Sometimes if they are having trouble getting to sleep or
they are feeling ill or anything I use my magic to help them. The house I go to most often
is Amie's house because she's my best friend.
There are three different types of magic: the healing magic
(that helps people), the touchstone magic (that makes things appear and disappear) and
come along magic (that brings you anything you want.

pocket dragon not like his cousins who are Wedge dragons (this means they are big and
purple!) or like his other cousins who are minute dragons (this means they are almost
    invisible!)
Anyway I just thought you might like to know

I am a mouse. My name is Niblet. I live in a
little hole in a house. Living in the house is a man, a woman, a boy, and a girl. I like
the two children a lot. They always leave crumbs behind and I get to eat them when
everyone is asleep. They also have cool little toys. Some of the toys are good for my home
so I borrow them and use them in my house. Last week I found a little chair, just big
enough for me. It fits so nicely in my living room.

Today I found a little spoon. It is great for scooping up
crumbs that are in cracks that I can't reach.
I also have a little blanket that I found under the little boy's
bed. It really isn't a blanket, it is an old shirt from his little teddy bear. He doesn't
need it anymore because he got his bear a new shirt and the old one makes a perfect
    blanket for me.
I miss the kids when they go to school in the morning. The house
is so quiet without them. I really miss all of the squeaks and noise they make. Kids are
    just like mice.

I love the family I live with, and I hope they never find
out about me. People are scared of mice and try to get rid of them if they find us in
their house. That's why I need to be so quiet. Shhhhhh!
time there were two caterpillars, a brother and a sister, who lived together way way up on
the top of a big oak tree. The two caterpillars loved each other very much. They played
together, ate together, and watched out for each other.

One day, while they were munching on a nice
delicious green leaf, a strong breeze blew them off the tree and they both landed on the
ground. They looked up and saw how far their little home was, all the way up in the top of
    the tree.
"Oh, no" said Cater "it will take us forever to
make it back home." Pillar sighed and then she said "You're right, but we will
just have to keep going until we make it, otherwise we will never get home." So they
started climbing the tree. They were a bit surprised because the part they were climbing
was smooth and gray, not at all like the rough brown part up at the top of the tree where
their home was. But since they had never been to the bottom of the tree they thought that
this was just how it was. They had only climbed a few inches however, when the tree
started to move! "Wow, the tree is moving now" said Pillar sounding a bit
worried. "Look!" Cater said pointing up "This isn't the tree that we're
climbing. It's the foot of Elephant!" When Pillar looked up she saw two giant
elephant eyes looking straight at her.

The elephant said "Why are you tickling
my leg you little caterpillars?" By now Cater and Pillar were very afraid, but they
explained to the elephant how the big wind had blown them out of the tree and they had
thought his leg was the bottom of the tree where their home was.
The elephant was very kind even though he looked very frightening
to the little caterpillars and he felt very sorry for them being stuck on the ground so he
decided to help them. He put his long trunk down next to them and told them to climb on.
Then he carried them up to the top of the tree by stretching his long trunk way up high.
The caterpillars were thrilled to be home again and they both shouted at exactly the same
time "Thank you Elephant! You saved us a lot of work climbing back up this big
tree." The kind elephant waived his long trunk at the two caterpillars and went
    happily on his way.

The two caterpillars continued to live in the top of the
tree and to take care of each other, but soon it was time for them to make their cocoons
and turn into beautiful butterflies. Cater and Pillar said goodbye to each other and
promised that who ever came out first would stay and wait for the other one. Then they
spun their cocoons and sealed themselves inside.
While they were in their cocoons, another big storm came and blew
them off their branch and far away. But this time they did not land next to each other.
Cater landed near the river and Pillar landed near the field.
When they came out of their cocoons the caterpillars could not
find each other. They looked this way and that but they couldn't even see their home. Each
caterpillar, now a beautiful butterfly, was alone in the middle of the great big world.
"Where is Cater?" Pillar said when she came out. "Where is Pillar?"
Cater thought when he came out. So the two butterflies decided to look for each other.

As he flew off Cater looked down at himself
and realized that he had turned into a butterfly with a yellow body and yellow and black
spotted wings. He didn't look anything like the little green caterpillar he had been
before he closed himself up in the cocoon. He landed on a nearby leaf and sat there
wondering how he was going to find Pillar since he didn't even know what she looked like
any more either. All his life he had known her as a little green caterpillar too.
"This is not going to be easy" Cater thought to himself, "How can I search
for my sister butterfly when I don't know what to look for?"
But Cater knew that he had to find her somehow, so he flew up into
the air and began to look around for his sister. Each time he saw another butterfly he
would rush over and ask, "Are you Pillar?" But each time the answer was
"No" so he kept looking. He must have asked one hundred butterflies this
question, but none of them were his sister. Everyone wanted to help and they all asked
what she looked like but Cater could not tell them because he didn't know. All he knew was
that her name was Pillar and that she was his sweet sister.

By now Pillar was just as worried. She had
also realized that since she had turned into a butterfly with purple and red wings and
blue spots, her brother must look different too. She knew that he must have changed just
as much and she would never be able to recognize him. How was she going to find him? How?
    How? How?
Pillar also began to look for Cater by flying around and calling
his name as loudly as she could. Suddenly she had a great idea and she started to ask all
of the other insects she saw to help her find her brother by calling his name too. Before
she knew it there were hundreds of insects flying around calling her brother's name. The
air was full of bugs saying ''Cater".
Before long Cater heard someone calling his name and rushed see
who it might be. He followed the sound of his name until he reached a big fat green
praying mantis. Cater was very disappointed to see that it was not his sister, and he
asked the praying mantis why he was calling his name. The praying mantis told him that a
beautiful purple butterfly with blue spots was looking for her brother and had asked him
    to help.

Cater was so happy! He was close to finding his sister again
and he could hardly believe that he would see her again. Once Cater had calmed down he
asked a praying mantis which direction his sister had gone. The helpful praying mantis
pointed him in the right direction and Cater flew off as fast as his wings could carry
him. Every time Cater passed an insect calling his name he would happily shout
"That's me!" He was getting happier by the moment because he knew that he was
going in the right direction and soon he would see Pillar again. Then, far away, he saw
his sister. He started calling her name and flying to her as fast as he could. Pillar
heard her brother's voice and turned to see a beautiful butterfly with black and yellow
spots heading towards her. In no time the two butterflies were back together again and
they were laughing and playing as they flew off across the fields to search for their
    lovely home.

Once upon a time, there was a traffic
light… a lonely traffic light. She felt that nobody gave her much attention.
Sometimes people would stand by her and push the button for the light to change, and she
felt less lonely while they were waiting. But once the light changed the people would
    leave and cross the street.
At times, when the light was red, the people waiting in the cars
would give her their attention as they waited for the light to turn green. That also made
her less lonely, but not for long. Once the light turned green the cars would zoom by
    without noticing that she existed.
Then, the traffic light noticed that there was a little red car
that passed by early every morning and again every afternoon. It was a mother and two
little kids dropping off their Daddy at the train station in the morning and picking him
    up in the afternoon.

Sometimes when the light was red, the two kids would wave to
the traffic light, show her their stuffed animals, or stare at her waiting for the light
to change. That made her very happy. At other times when the light was green the car would
go right through the intersection and the little kids wouldn't even look at the light.
    That made her very sad.
The traffic light wanted the attention of the two little children
and decided that the next time she saw the car she would turn herself red. That would give
the kids a chance to wave to her or stare at her. She thought the idea sounded very nice,
so that is what she did the next morning and afternoon when she saw the red car.

After a few days of switching herself, the circuit inside of
her pole got messed up and the light stayed on yellow. She tried very hard to switch it to
red or green but she just couldn't.
The next morning, the repairmen came and opened the little door on
the side of her pole. They worked for a couple of hours and found the problem. The switch
that she used to turn the light from red to yellow to green had burnt out. In a few
minutes they had replaced the bad switch and the traffic light was back to normal. Now she
was again able to stop the red car and see the little children every morning and
afternoon. But after a few days the switch burnt out again and the repairmen had to come
out to fix it once more.

As they were working, the traffic
light could hear them talking to each other. She heard them saying that the traffic light
must be getting too old and that it was really hard for all of the people, because it was
making traffic jams when she broke down. When she looked up she saw a huge line of cars
all waiting and honking. All of the people in them were very upset because they couldn't
get where they needed to go.
It was then that the traffic light
realized how important she was to all of the people in their cars. She had always thought
that they were simply ignoring her when they drove away, but now she knew that without her
no one would be able to drive anywhere. Then she felt very bad that she had caused all of
    these problems.

The traffic light did not want to make people
unhappy, so she decided that from now on she would only switch herself from green to red
when it was the proper time so that her switch wouldn't burn out too soon. She
thought of how happy it made people when she was working properly, and she knew that she
would still see the kids every day, even if it was for only a few seconds. That made her
VERY happy, and from that day on she was never lonely again.

Once there
was a little mouse named Lucy. She lived in the meadow with her mother and father,
and her little brother Harvey. She and Harvey got along very well. They played in the
fields, went swimming in the summer, climbed trees, and even had tea parties together.

Lucy thought that Harvey was just
about the most perfect brother she could have, except for one thing…her had a way of
sneaking up on her when she just wasn't expecting it. Why only this morning he had
startled her so badly that she had spilled her juice all over the table. Mother had been
upset and so had she. In fact, she had been so upset it had given her hiccups and now she
    couldn't get rid of them!
She had tried drinking water, and holding
her breath but the Hiccups just wouldn't go away. No matter how hard she tried to get rid
of them every few seconds a giant HIC-CUP
would burst out of her little self. Maybe my friends will know what to do, she thought.

First she went to Skunk's
house. "Hello -HIC- Skunk" she said. "Hello. How are you today?" Skunk
replied. "I'm -HIC- fine" said Lucy "but -HIC- I have -HIC- the hiccups -HIC- and I can't get -HIC- rid of them!"
" I noticed" said Skunk "Perhaps if you stand on your head the Hiccups will
    fall out" she suggested.
"That's what I always do and it works great for me. Toodle Loo!" and she dashed off without another
    word.
So Lucy stood on her head and
waited for a very long time. It was very difficult because with every Hiccup she would
lose her balance and have to start all over again. While she was doing this Frog hopped
    up.

"What are you doing
Lucy?" he asked. Lucy started to tell him but suddenly a really huge Hiccup came out,
and Frog said "Oh my, it seems standing on your head has given you the Hiccups. You
should try hopping on one foot while patting your tummy" he offered helpfully.
"Thank -HIC- you" she said, but when she looked up Frog
had already hopped off towards the pond.

Hopping on one foot and patting her
tummy sounded silly to Lucy but the Hiccups were getting worse and she was willing to try
anything if it would make them go away. But no matter how hard she hopped and patted, the
    Hiccups wouldn't go away.
"Oh no!" she said as she
began to walk home. "Perhaps I will have Hiccups for the rest of my life. I will be
known as the Hiccup Mouse. Maybe I will never be able to go into the library again, the
Librarian will surely tell me I am too noisy to be there! And I can forget about ever
playing Hide-n-Seek, because everyone will find me!" By now, she was so busy feeling
miserable that she hardly noticed where she was going.

Just then Harvey jumped out of the
berry bushes beside the path holding a large, juicy berry. "Lucy look what I
found!" he exclaimed. But Lucy was tired of being surprised by her little brother and
she'd had enough. "Harvey, how many times have I told you not to…"
she started to say. Then she stopped and a huge smile spread across her face.

She realized that her Hiccups were
gone! Harvey had surprised her so much that the Hiccups had disappeared. "Oh,
Harvey" she said and then she threw her arms around him and gave him a gigantic hug.
"Thank you! You cured me of those horrible Hiccups!" she cried. Then she and
Harvey went off to share that delicious berry.
bigger. She loved to read and write. She lived in a family of a Mom, a Dad, and an older
brother named Danny. Mel was short for Melanie. One
day, Mel was riding her bike down Crazy Street. (It got it's name by having crazy twists
and turns.) When Mel was riding threw a twist, she saw a girl standing in front of her.
Mel stopped the bike just in time. "Hi," Mel said. "I'm Melanie, and I like
to be called Mel. Who are you?" The girl stood there for a long moment.
"Lizzie," she replied finally. "I am new here, and shy. Will you show me
around Mel?" "Sure, of course!" Mel agreed as she put down her kick stand.
"My bike will be okay here. For now, at least."
Mel showed Lizzie around Crazy Street, Wild Creek,
(which was a creek where the water was so wild and had so many rapids) Dark Forest, (which
was a forest which was always dark) Sparkling Falls, (which was a water fall which always
sparkled and shined.) and Animal Cave. (That's where all the animals came during the
winter and hybernated) When they got back to Crazy Street, Mel's bike was laying flat on
the ground. "I was sure I put the kickstand up," Mel said with worry.
"Maybe, it fell down anyway," Lizzie suggested. "I don't think so,"
Lizzie replied. "Maybe it was an animal, let's go to my house," Mel said. Mel
rode her bike to her house. "Here we are," Mel said as they finally got there.
    "Home at last."
They walked into the house when Mel's Mom said, "hello
Mel. Who's this?" "This is Lizzie," Mel intruduced. "She's new in
town, so she asked me to show her around." Mel hugged her Mom. "Oh Mommy, may
Lizzie please stay over to play?" "Yes," Mom replied, hugging Mel back.
"Of course. Do you know your new phone number, Lizzie? Maybe you can stay for a sleep
over." "Yes, I do know my new phone number." She told her. Mom diled the
numbers and talked to Lizzie's Mom. "It's all set," Mom said after she hung up
the phone. "Lizzie, your Mom is dropping off some of your clothes."

Once upon a time there were two little kids named Jesse and Mary Sue. They were
brother and sister. Their mom and dad had divorced years ago. And their dad now was seeing
someone else. She was cruel to them behind their father’s back. She said if
they got married, she would make their life’s miserable from the moment she said I
do”. One day their dad called them into his room. When they got in there he
told them to sit on the bed, then he said “there’s going to be a new member in
the family and a lot of changes too. What I’m trying to say is I’m getting
married”. “What”, they said. "Quite the surprise isn’t
it?" said their father. Father you can’t it’ll ruin our family tree said
Jesse. Well I’m sorry kids but I love her, before their father could say anything
more they ran out of the house and let the door slam behind them.

Chapter
    2

After walking a while, they finally stopped and realized they were a long way from home in
a part of the neighborhood they had never seen before. There were fairies as beautiful as
princesses’ birds with the rainbow colors on their feathers all different kinds of
animals, beautiful butterflies and the most unexpected fairies they thought they’d
only see fairies in there Fairy Tale books.

It soon became dark, Jesse and Mary Sue had fallen
asleep on a rock. When Jesse and Mary Sue woke up in the morning, they saw that all the
animals were lying next to them. After they’d been there a while the animals bird and
fairies started asking how they found their way there. The children told the truth,
they said they’d gotten mad that their father was getting married to a women they
didn’t like so they ran away and when they stopped they were there. After
telling them that the animals said they were glad they found their way because now they
    had someone to play with.

Then they introduced the princess of the fairies, her
name was Patty. Her dad, the king of the fairies, called her Patty the Pooh. She was
very pretty, she had short Blonde hair with a crown made out of gold and an outfit fit for
a princess. The princess said she had good news, one of the fairies was going to have a
baby fairy. Everyone congratulated her. Then she went on, we found out a few weeks
ago but we didn’t want to jinx it. Everyone congratulated her again and went to bed.
The next morning she had the baby. She decided to name her Julia. When she turned one and
was able to walk Jesse and Mary Sue were still there. It was Saturday when Jesse and Mary
Sue were about to leave and then they heard a familiar voice and decided to stay for
    another night.

Chapter
    3

Early in the morning the next day, they heard it again so they got out of bed to see were
it was coming from, but on there way out of Fairyland, they woke up. Julia liked to go on
adventures so, of course, she wanted to come with them. So the three went to see were the
voice was coming from, they followed the voice to a cave and peeked inside. Jesse and Mary
Sue could not believe what they saw. It was their step mom, she was talking to someone but
they weren’t sure whom it was. Julia knew who it was.

Mary Sue and Jesse asked Julia who their step-mom was
talking to. It’s the demon, she replied, he has a son too. When he gets
older he’ll do what his dads doing, His dad is very evil. Years ago everybody in
fairyland challenged him. They said whoever won got the land and the other person had to
go some were else. And the demon lost so he had to move out here. But why would our
step-mom be talking to him that sounds really weird. Maybe she’s a demon too, said
Jesse. No I don’t think that could happen, said Julia, but maybe because nobody knows
who's the little demons mother. Julia continued, we have to get home and warn daddy, Mary
    Sue said.

Chapter
    4

So the next morning they told everyone they had to go, they had to go warn their dad. So
they said their goodbyes and were off but then Julia’s mom stopped them and asked if
they would take Julia with them, they said they would and then her mom continued, it would
be the biggest adventure she ever had. Then Julia thanked her mom and her mom thanked
Jesse and Mary Sue and then they told them they would be back soon and then they left
    fairyland.

Now Julia knew this was going to be the biggest
adventure she ever had because she’d never been this far out of fairyland before and
she was excited. Jesse and Mary Sue told her that when they were at their house she has to
hide and Julia agreed. So when they arrived, Julia did as she was told and hid behind a
plant in the living room. In their father’s room they were telling him about who they
had seen and were they had seen her, of course, their father, who found this a little hard
to believe, welcomed them with open arms but then said I think you two are sick. Come and
    lay down a while.

Dad! They both said we’re not sick, we really
saw her. How could you if she was right here by me the whole time you were gone. The only
time she left was when she went to the store and got groceries. We don’t under stand,
where is she now she went to get groceries. Fairyland! They both said at the exacted same
time. They both ran out the door with Julia following behind them but this time their dad
followed them, hoping he would find out what was going on.

As soon as they got there and the dad had a chance to
catch up he asked them what was going on, they said that they would explain again later.
Then they went to the cave were they had seen her but she wasn’t there. Now their
father was beginning to think this was all a joke. When he saw their step mom and his
future wife, she was coming out of a secret passage in the cave. Then all four of them
went back to the fairies and asked them if they knew about it. The fairy’s said no
except one. He said he’d been trying to find out what was

Chapter
    5

The door then opened and Mary Sue clinched onto Jesse’s hand so hard it was turning
red, the pass way looked like fairyland except there were no fairies. Then! They saw it a
golden door but it had a keyhole. Where would they find a key that big, they were puzzled
so they sat down to think. Then they all decided to go back to fairyland but when they
said the magic password someone they had not been warned about spotted them. He grabbed
them by they’re arms and made them walk with him, they tried to escape but he
wouldn’t let go. He was the demon’s companion his name was Alfred but everyone
    called him Al.

He took them to the demon who was being carried on a
mattress and all he was doing was eating grapes and giving all the girls he’s phone
number, not very impressive if you ask me. Then finally after stuffing a handful of grapes
in he’s mouth he said I thought you’d be coming here soon after I saw you two
spying on me and that kind lady I was talking to. "She's our step mom and she’s
    not kind at all."

I never knew kids could be so rude to someone who
truly loves them, take them away, take them away said the demon I can’t stand them
any longer. Jesse, Mary Sue and they’re Father were handcuffed to a shelf in a
closet. Julia was locked in a cage in the corner of the closet but you couldn’t
see her because a shirt was covering her. "Maybe there’s a secret hiding place
the Demon puts a key in to unlock and lock the door", "Good idea." Julia
said. Mary Sue started looking for a piece of wood that would come out of the wall with
the one hand that wasn’t handcuffed.

Soon it was late and she still hadn’t found
anything and in no time she fell asleep along with her brother, her dad and Julia. In the
morning when Mary Sue woke up she accidentally hit the wall when she was stretching. Hey
guys, I think I found something she said. It was a loose board, when the board fell out
there was a big key behind it. This looks like a key for something very important
I’ll put it in my pocket. I think I know what that important thing is, let’s go.

Chapter
    6

So they went back to where they had last seen the demon and again found him laying down
being feed grapes by all the girls. When they saw him they said we know your plan and we
have the key you hid in the room you locked us in "but I have a spare, did you
actually think I’d put the key in the same room I locked you in with out a
spare", said the demon. While the demon was talking Julia had came up with an idea of
her own and was already starting it. She slipped behind the demon and knocked the key out
    of his hand.

"Actually I did" she said just catching the
key in her hand and now that I have both keys your plan is history she added and
“we’re off to save fairyland”. Not so fast said the demon, "did you
really think I’d fall for that too?" as two guards stepped out from behind the
bushes. They were tall demons even taller then the demon and himself. Julia, Mary
sue, Jesse and their father all ran as fast as they could, then they saw a cave and ran
but it didn’t take to long for the guards to sniff them out, they came running after
    them.

Then Julia, Jesse, his sister and their dad saw a
waterfall, they took their only chance and jumped with a deep breath, but of course Julia
flew. When they landed, they swam to the surface and realized they were back where they
started at the big door. They put the key in and all the sudden the demon came but they
opened the door and they hurried in, before the demon could catch them.

Then all the sudden they know what to do, they said
the magic words which were “open pass way” and then they picked a magic flower
and put it in the pot they saw in the middle of the room and the flower turned into a
liquid which they poured on the demon, his son which turned them into who they where
before. The demon was the fairy prince, his son was a normal kid and the guards were mice.
As for they’re step mom well this effected her too she came out as a kind lady and
said hi I’m sorry if was mean to you before the demon which is now the fairy prince
had me under a evil spell, they all forgave her.

*

The End

One day the Brown family was sitting in
their home when all of the sudden Mrs. Brown heard a kittens meow. Now there was a big
storm outside so that kitten must of been afraid. Nothing became of that incident that
night though. The next day Mrs. Brown's children saw the kitten roam around the street. He
    actually lived in there yard!

All the children got together to
catch the cat and give him a home. The kitten was so fast they couldn't get any where near
the stray kitten. The kids got there friends together and their friends had no more speed
then the Brown children had. They soon cornered the fuzzy kitten but it jumped in to a
near by tree! Oh no the children thought.

              How could
they ever get him out of the tree? At dinner Bobby; Mrs. Makely's son was eating his
Kielbasa when it came to him. He knew just what to do. He'd use Kielbasa to get the cat
from the tree to the house! The next day after school he took some left over Kielbasa out
of the freezer and cooked it up. Next he put it on a fancy silver platter.

When he was done he shouted "wala, the kittens dinner looks delish!" He then
went outside and saw a dog coming toward the tree where the cat sat. The cat jumped off
and ran! Then Bobby got his other siblings and his friends from across the street. The dog
was gone by the time they got there but the cat was no where to be found.

           They searched and searched
all over until they came to a bed of pine needles under a pine tree. There was an unusual
bump of pine needles. Then they saw a kitten jump out and stand there look at them. Bobby
ran and got the platter or Kielbasa. He returned with the silver platter in a flash!

             The cat followed
Bobby all the way to the house! Then Bobby put the platter in the house. The cat went in
to the house and ate the whole meal. The children went in to hug the cat but it ran under
the freezer!!! When he finally came out from hiding Mrs.Brown picked him up and held him
in the palm of her hand.

The kitten purred lovingly. "I know what we'll call him!" Shouted Bobby.
"What?" Asked Mrs.Brown. "Kielbasa" He announced happily.

It was Friday and Annabelle was sleeping at Pat's house. Pat had bought lots of food and a
video for them and they were really excited. Pat had never had anybody sleeping at her
house before. The first thing they did was play with Pat's hamster 'Spyro' for a while.
After that they coloured in Pat's colouring book. Then they watched the video that Pat had
got which was called Pinnochio whilst eating the food that they had bought. After that
Pat's mum told them that it was bedtime, so they went to bed. Next morning Pat and
Annabelle had their breakfast and then Annabelle's mum came and picked her up. Annabelle's
mum and Pat's mum decided that because they were such good girls Pat could sleep over at
Annabelle's house the week after. They said goodbye to each other and then Annabelle went
    home.
