CD Projekt RED developer decided to discontinue The Witcher 2

Video game developer studio, CD Projekt RED, decided to discontinue their efforts in combating piracy game through legal channels, The Witcher 2. Polish developer has finally chosen the way of an appeal to all users to choose a legal product than pay.

CD Projekt RED are known by their role-playing game, The Witcher. They were previously getting rave reviews from gamers with the statement will not charge a price for each content downloads from the latest series of their game, The Witcher 2.

However, in December 2011, CD Projekt RED waging war against piracy. How to hire a law firm to represent them look for people who allegedly have received a copy of the game The Witcher 2 by illegal means, after that send electronic mail.

Iwinski blatantly dismissed these assumptions. CD Projekt RED confirmed that it does not support piracy because it harms them and the video game industry as a whole. Although they reject the so-called DRM mechanism would suppress piracy, copy video games illegally is wrong.
