The poll has started around 3 months ago and clearly Educational Ebooks are leading the way, followed by Novels & Fictions and Computers & Internet. Probably I should start looking at the numbers and start concentrating on the main requests so far. The thing is educational or computers might somehow be a little bit too general, so if you can leave some comments here on what do you really need or want, in a more specific way, that’d help greatly in the future when I try to update the list of free ebooks here.

However, while waiting for me to do that, Google Book Search should be able to satisfy some of you at the moment. I know I’ve mentioned it before over here, but judging at how it has been growing, I think it deserves another mention. They relate to a system of distinct calendars and almanacs used during the Maya civilization in pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. The calendar did not originate with the Maya. In the Náhuatl language twenty is the number of fingers and toes on a human being and is descriptive of a whole person. Náhuatl is still very much a living language in Mexico.
