Think of the old gamer classics Galaxian and Galaga with virtual testosterone injected in, and you have an overall description of the new Awem Studio shooter download, Star Defender 3.
First, a warning. This free shooting game is highly addictive! 'Nuff said.
The action is fast paced as the enemy aliens increase in speed, numbers and fire power as each level is achieved, but so does the arsenal of your captained Star Defender battle cruiser. Some of the advanced shooter weapons include, pulsar cannons, missles, green electricity blasters. One great add on in the fire power repertoire is a bomb timer that attaches itself to an enemy fighter that explodes seconds later. The blast not only ends up taking out the hapless alien ship the bombs adhered to, but other insect fighters in the blast radius!
Star Defender 3 mixes awesome arcade style shooter game play, with an assortment of shooting artillary that'll keep you glued to the screen for hours on end. A must download.

- Released by Midway in 1981.

Gunner 2 Game Play:
It's the shooting game that takes you into the past, present and beyond. A first person perspective of what it's like to shoot down enemy aircraft from both ground and air scenarios throughout multiple missions.

Dubbed the "Unlimited Firing Zone" for good measure, Gunner 2 is hardly what you call your average shooting game as it endorses all the elements a hyped shooter should have, but rarely live up to...not the case here. Whether you want to go old school and gun down an armada of A6M5 Zero class World War 2 fighters, or perhaps jump into the present and engage in modern day shooting warfare with a Eurocopter Tiger, Gunner 2 delivers 3-D shooting action to the extreme.
There are three different episode levels with over 19 enemy vehicles all set to bullseye, but this reviewers favorite is making bad E.T's go boom in Mission 3 stages as the game shooter throws you into a first person off planetary firing range landscape battling UFO attack cruisers.
If you're a Star Wars fan take notice the similarities of one enemy UFO targets named the Meat Grinder, which actually resembles a Y-Wing!
Gunner 2 is non stop adrenaline pumping action that takes game play of this genre to the next level. Can't wait to play the next shooting smash from makers Warlock Studios in the continuing Gunner series.

Don't blink or you'll miss the amazing 3-D flying environments, as this Oberon Media shooter teleports you 60 years into the thick of airplane 360 scrolling mayhem!
As an Ensign to an elite fighter pilot crew for the good guys, it's your job to just keep shooting at the enemy planes flying at every angle, while keeping clear of their gunners that are trying to take you out over the waters of the Pacific.
The + (slow) and - (fast) keyboard controls are essential to master, as even the first novice rescue mission of stranded marines is fast and furious from the get go.
As an indie shooter, this actioner ranks up in the more arcade style of gaming. The mouse scrolled controls which also initiate your guns and missles take some getting used to, but the quicker you get the basics down for propulsion and deceleration; the easier it'll be for you to become a flying ace!

Hidden Expedition - Titanic Review:
One of the most popular free puzzle games on site, Hidden Expedition - Titanic from casual game maker "Big Fish Games" pulls out all the stops for great free game play.
The underwater environments are impressive as you get a first person look at some of the interiors of the grand steamship. The game gets intense at times as you race against the clock to unearth gems and other artifacts (including a teddy bear and french horn on early levels) while making sure your oxygen supply doesn't run out!
If you're stumped, make sure to make use of the Hint valve located at the left of the screen, some of the 3-D environments cloak the artifacts almost too well.
Extremely addictive and a must play for fans of video game puzzlers.
