I recently moved across the country and am aware of the painful details that need to be minded too. After looking through the CheaperThanHotel sites and reading about all the amenities and tourists attraction they have to offer, all I can really say is that I really hope to visit Australia someday.

I live in the desert and I can tell you that it would be impossible to sleep through summer nights if I didn’t have a ceiling fan. Sure, I have an A/C unit. Two of them in fact, one for each floor. But sometimes all I need is to move some air around. The A/C can get a little too cold at times, especially since our bed is under two ducts directly. Ceiling fans are perfect to keep a breeze going without getting the chills. We save on electricity too because our A/C units don’t have to power up.

I started my search looking for hotels in London through CheaperThanHotels.co.uk. I found the number one rated hotel in London on the front page and then was able to sort lists of other hotels based on prices, star ratings or price.

I then tried looking for hotels in Edinburgh where I was met with another top hotel. It was a four star suite and was priced at only 85 GBP per night! Pretty good deal if you ask me.

I ended my search by looking for hotels in Glasgow. Again, the site gave me a top hotel for a decent price. The one that I found in Glasgow was a three star room for only 60 pounds.

The three searches I did on CheaperThanHotels.co.uk showed me that they have a reliable service with some great rates. Definitely worth the research time before making any travel plans.

Just in time for the memorial day sales this weekend, TestFreaks has released their list of lcd tv reviews. They have everything from some of their earlies Sony models to the latest Samsung series. They even have a review of the Philips Ambilight, which off sets the background by displaying a color-matching “glow” behind the TV.

While the list at TestFreaks is fairly comprehensive, the only thing I thought was missing was some actual pictures. The reviews are nicely done and complete, but since I’m very much a visual learner, some pictures of what I was reading about would have been nice.

Overall TestFreaks has done a very nice job of maintaining a list for potential LCD HDTV owners.

Online Journals are truly different than blogs. These are places where users can write down their most intimate events and feelings in their lives, regardless of who does or does not read it. Online journals eventually evolved into “blogs” and blogs eventually evolved into mainstream culture, sans the journal. Sure some bloggers are still very transparent and open in their blogs, but it seems most bloggers are now in it for the money.
