The All Kerala Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Protection Council has filed a petition in the Kerala High Court, seeking a direction to forest officials to seize elephant tusks in the custody of top actor Mohanlal.

Already there was a case against Mohanlal and two others - P N Krishnakumar and N Krishnakumar - in connection with seizure of ivory.

The top Mollywood actor, who is popular in Kollywood as well, is the first accused in the case.

Now, the petitioner has contended that Mohanlal had no valid license and hence had no authority to keep the tusks.

GROSS : 4.05 Crores

VERDICT : ABOVE AVERAGE

RANK # 2 - MANTHRIKAN

Manthrikan failed to kick start at the major centers, with the family audience in the evening shows providing respite to the films collections. He is aiming to concentrate more on Bollywood and other languages down south. The young star was opening up his mind while taking to a news agency.

Prithvi says that he was finding more peace and comfort while in the sets of 'Aiyya' - his first Hindi movie to be on theaters by tomorrow.

The young actor has only agreed to a very few films in Malayalam. Also citing that the stars and crew in Hindi cinema are fortunate to have more freedom in thinking and executing films, Prithvi is also in the mood to agree only to finer roles that may boost his prospects as a thinking actor.

With heavy online and mini screen promotions, 'Prithvi's "Aiyya' with Rani Mukherjee in the lead will be on theaters by tomorrow. The movie will have him play a Southie who finds it difficult to talk Hindi.
