Shortly before her teenage years, Kelly's family decided to move from the urban environment of Philadelphia to the more serene surroundings of Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains.
Growing up in the Poconos, Kelly developed a love of the great outdoors. With a home on the boundary of a state game preserve, Kelly and her four sisters spent plenty of time hiking, climbing trees, fishing, camping and swimming. They were taught to skate by their mother, a former Olympic hopeful and figure-skating instructor. They helped their father, an avid hunter, build tree stands.
An active athlete, Kelly participated in soccer, swimming, track, and softball, among other sports.
In addition to athletics, Kelly participated intensely in speech, debate, and theater during high school. Kelly proudly states that she is a born competitor.
Kelly attended classes at Northampton Community College. Kelly worked at a resort, Mount Airy Lodge, as a lifeguard.
Kelly's way out of the Poconos turned out to be a spread in Playboy magazine, a decision that her family was extremely supportive of. Shortly before her 21st birthday, Kelly made her Playboy debut as the magazine's Miss April 1997, and she went on to be featured in many of their news stand specials.
With four years of high school drama classes and five years of lifeguarding behind her, Kelly's television debut came in 1997, when she landed the recurring role of Susan, a rookie lifeguard, on the syndicated program Baywatch. Danielle Lloyd was born on December 16th, 1983 at Liverpool in England. Her claims to fame include being the girlfriend of footballer Teddy Sheringham, posing nude in Playboy, winning the title of Miss England, then the more prestigious one of Miss Great Britain only to be stripped of it, and perhaps most famously she credited Winston Churchill as being the first black president of America. A woman whose combination of talent, tenacity, and beauty has made her one of Hollywood's busiest actors, Halle Berry has enjoyed a level of success that has come from years of hard work and her share of career pitfalls. Berry's interest in show business came courtesy of her participation in a number of beauty pageants throughout her teens, including the 1986 Miss U.S.A. Pageant. A native of Cleveland, OH, where she was born to an African-American father and white mother on August 14, 1968, Berry was raised by her mother, a psychiatric nurse, following her parents' divorce. At the age of 17, she appeared in the spotlight for the first time as the winner of the Miss Teen All-American Pageant, and subsequently became a model. Berry won her first professional acting gig on the TV series Living Dolls, and then appeared on Knots Landing before winning her first big-screen role in Spike Lee's Jungle Fever. It was on the set of the film that she first earned her reputation for her full commitment to acting, reportedly refusing to bathe for weeks in preparation for her portrayal of a crack addict. Following her film debut, Berry was cast opposite Eddie Murphy in Boomerang (1992) as the comedian's love interest; not only did she hold her own against Murphy, but the same year she did acclaimed work in the title role of the Alex Haley miniseries Queen, playing a young woman struggling against the brutal conditions of slavery. After a comedic turn as sultry secretary Sharon Stone in the 1994 live-action version of The Flintsones, Berry returned to more serious fare with her role in the adoption drama Losing Isaiah (1995). Working alongside a cast that included Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, and Anna Paquin, Berry was hailed for her work as the first African-American comic book heroine on the screen. Acclaim was not quite as forthcoming for her work opposite John Travolta in Dominic Sena's cheesy thriller Swordfish, which touted itself as the first movie to feature Berry baring her breasts. Unfortunately, it didn't allow for equal exploitation of the talents that Berry possessed above her collarbone.

Berry again bared more than her character's inner turmoil in Monster's Ball (2001), a romantic drama directed by Marc Forster that starred the actress as a woman who becomes involved with a racist ex-cop (Billy Bob Thornton) who oversaw the prison execution of her husband (Sean Combs). Berry earned wide critical praise for her work in the film, as well as Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for Best Actress. And though she may have lost out to Sissy Spacek in the Golden Globes, her night at the Oscars found Berry the favored performer as took home a statue for Best Actress. Raised mostly by her mother after her parents divorced while she was still a baby, Jolie moved around a lot with her mother and brother. She also did a fair amount of traveling as a professional model, living in such places as London, New York, and Los Angeles before settling for a time in New York as a student at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and New York University, where she first started acting in theater productions. Talk about some bad timing. If reports are true and Halle Berry's new husband, Eric Benet, was cheating on her prior to her winning the Oscar for Monster's Ball, he might be about as lucky as the guy in the beer commercial who breaks off his engagement just before his fiancée lets him know she's won the lottery.
According to the Star tabloid that printed the story, there are problems with the "physical side" of their marriage.
Quick memo to Benet: she's the hottest actress in Hollywood and can just about name her price for her next project, so let's keep it zipped up and ride this wave for a while.
Berry has come a long way from her days as a beauty contestant in Ohio. After being typecast in typical black roles at the start of her acting career, she began to get more significant parts in movies such as Boomerang (1992) and Losing Isaiah (1995). Known outside her native country as the "Spanish enchantress," Penélope Cruz Sánchez was born in Madrid to Eduardo (a retailer) and Encarna (a hairdresser). As a toddler she was already a compulsive performer, re-enacting TV commercials for her family's amusement, but she decided to focus her energies on dance. After studying classical ballet for nine years at Spain's National Conservatory, she continued her training under a series of prominent dancers. At 15, however, she heeded her true calling when she bested more than 300 other girls at a talent agency audition. The resulting contract landed her several roles in Spanish TV shows and music videos, which in turn paved the way for a career on the big screen. Cruz made her movie debut in Laberinto griego, El (1991) (The Greek Labyrinth), then appeared briefly in the Timothy Dalton thriller Framed (1992) (TV). Her third film was the Oscar-winning Belle époque (1992), in which she played one of four sisters vying for the love of a handsome army deserter.
