divulge all of the specifications. The problem is, the traffic within the computer can’t always perform as fast as the
technical limits may indicate. Because of the traffic jam that can be created it is important to understand what options are
available when purchasing a computer.
This article will address one area of computers, where traffic jams are often created and which most buyers of
computers overlook. This article is directed to those of you who are not highly technical and attempts will be made to
simplify many areas to ease the understanding.

Mineral photography at its highest level is an exact science in service of both art and
nature. On the one hand, the requirements of good scientific illustration must be met—that is, the
specimen must be depicted fully and accurately, without any distortion or compromise in
scientific integrity. On the other hand, an expertly crafted photograph is more than a mere
depiction of data; it comes alive with sparkle, drama, depth, and a fine-art feeling of aesthetic
quality. We must exclude from our discussion the contribution of innate artistic talent on the part
of the photographer because, necessary though this is, it cannot be taught. That said, master
mineral photographers all utilize an arsenal of techniques and thought processes which can indeed
be learned and can be adapted to each photographer’s own style and ability. Mastery of these
intellectual tools is generally the last skill to be developed along the learning curve from novice to
expert.

Building PhotoKast: Creating an iPhone app in one month

concept for PhotoKast was simple: allow users an easy way to share their photos and
track their worldwide popularity. When a user (“kaster”) broadcasts a photo, it is sent to
other PhotoKast users in the area. If they like the photo, they can give it a “Thumbs Up”,
which will then send it on to other people near them. Hence, the more people that like the
photo, the faster and further it will travel. For each photo, users can view a “Photo Trail” map which
shows every place throughout the world that people enjoyed the picture.
