How to Configure

BEFORE STARTING PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACTIVATED YOUR ACCOUNT BY CLICKING ON THE ACTIVATION EMAIL.

Open Network settings in System Preferences
1. Click the Apple then System Preferences
2. Click Network under Internet & Wireless
Click + (the plus icon)
Select VPN for the interface, L2TP over IPSec for the VPN Type, and enter RaptorVPN for Service Name
Click Create
Select the newly created RaptorVPN connection
Enter one of the following address in the Server Address field:
- l2tp.spotflux.com
- Type your Username in the Account Name fieldNOTE: Your username is the email address you registered with.

Click Authentication Settings and enter your Password in the Password field,
NOTE: Your password is the one you selected during registration.
Select "Shared Secret" from "Machine Authentication" and type "raptor" (do not type quotes) click OK
Click Advanced, check Send all traffic over VPN connection, then click OK
Click Apply

How to Connect

Click the new VPN icon in the menu bar
Click Connect RaptorVPN

4. Device is now unlocked

3. The phone will then prompt 'Unlock sim'. Press OK.

How To Root HTC Amaze 4G With One Click Permanent Root Tool

Note: This root will be permanent or temporary based on the state of your bootloader. If it is locked, the root will be temporary and you will have to re-root every time you restart your device. Alright, so before we get down to it, we suggest you download these files beforehand so that the actual rooting process can be done quickly.

Although the process shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to complete, be sure to ensure that your HTC Amaze 4G has enough charge to last through the rooting process. If your device runs out of battery during rooting, there is a chance that you might brick it.

Step 1: Install HTC Drivers on your computer so that One Click Perm Root can detect your HTC Amaze 4G properly.
Step 2: Connect your device to your computer through USB.
Step 3: Enable USB Debugging on your HTC Amaze 4G from Settings > Applications > Development.
Step 4: Extract Zerg_Root_OneClick.zip (which you downloaded before Step 1) to C:\ and launch ZergRushTempRoot.bat

If this sounds like you, you will be glad to know that the process of downgrading back to the iOS 4.3.5firmware is extremely simple. It does not involve changing your hosts file or using the application TinyUmbrella and it doesn’t require you to have saved SHSH blobs. This is because the iOS 4.3.5 firmware is the latest official firmware available.

Downgrading From iOS 5 Beta 1 – 7 To iOS 4.3.5

Step 1) - The first thing you are going to need to do is ensure you are running the latest development version of iTunes on your computer (which will be iTunes 10.5 beta 7). You can download iTunes 10.5 beta 7 for Windows and Mac OS X from the Apple Dev Center.

Step 2) – Once you have ensured you are running the latest version of iTunes on your computer you will need to make sure you have access to the iOS 4.3.5firmware. If you need to download this firmware file you can go to the iJailbreak Downloads Section.

Step 3) – Now comes the hardest part; You must put your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad into DFU mode. This is done by doing the following:

Turn your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad off.
Hold the Power and Home Button for exactly 10 seconds.
Once you Hold the Power and Home Button for 10 seconds release the Power Button and continue holding the Home Button for up to 30 seconds

If you enter DFU mode correctly iTunes will open telling you that that you must restore your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.

Step 4) - With iTunes open press Shift+Restore (Windows) or Option+Restore (Mac) and select the iOS 4.3.5 firmware file. Upon doing this your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad will begin restoring itself to the iOS 4.3.5 firmware without any problems as the iOS 4.3.5 firmware is the latest official firmware.

Then unzipped it and made a new folder on the SD card with the name "acer_ug".
Placed the ROM into this folder and booted to SD Download Mode with Camera / Vol- / Power which is when it did some funky business and then switched off. I then switched on and it boots up fine without the Helstra crap.

These steps will help someone Wipe and Hard Reset the TMobile My Touch
(no keyboard)

1) Press and hold the HOME button and the POWER button together.

2) Keep holding HOME and POWER together for at least 25 seconds, even if the "Startup" screen appears.

3) Release the keys when you see a black screen with a warning sign.

4) At the above warning sign screen, press the HOME and POWER buttons again simultaineously...(10 secs).. and then let them go.

5) Use the trackball to scroll to wipe data/factory reset.

6) Press the trackball in on wipe data/factory reset.

7) When the bottom of the screen displays [DATA WIPE COMPLETED].... roll the trackball to [REBOOT SYSTEM NOW].
Press the trackball in on [REBOOT SYSTEM NOW]
Await for the reboot....Full factory reset completed.

1. Turn the G1 off. If it’s frozen on, take the battery out and put it back in the unit.

2. Hold the Home and Power keys down at same time for about 25 seconds. You will see a yellow triangle screen with exclamation point in the
middle.

Now to wipe the device clean:

3. Press Alt+L.
4. Press Alt+W for a factory reset.
5. Press the Home and Back keys again for about 25 seconds.
The device should then reset again and the hard reset is complete.

HTC Magic

1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME and BACK
2. Briefly press the END CALL/POWER button while continuing to pressHOME and BACK buttons.
3. When you see the screen with the 3 Android images, release the HOME and BACK buttons, and then press the TRACKBALL.

HTC Dream Soft reset

2. Remove the battery for a few seconds.

3. Slide the screen panel up to reveal the keyboard and the back cover release tab.
4. Gently push down the release tab with your finger until the back cover disengages from the device.

This paper describes a version of data recovery using the program R-Studio failures flash file system. Way to restore data using PhotoRec described in the article Data recovery from flash drives . So. Connect the flash drive into a USB port on your computer and you try to open it we get here is the message
