The Synopsis

Veerababu (Siddharth) son of Sitaram (Rajendra Prasad) in Venkatapuram village is a happy-go-lucky care free lad having fun until he meets Varalakshmi (Praneetha) of the neighbouring village. Her father (Ahuthi Prasad) is a rich landlord. Veerababu and Varalakshmi fall in love and get married only to get the wrath of their respective fathers . Then a connection is revealed between the families of Veerababu and Varalakshmi. How the problem of the young couple is resolved forms the rest of the story.

he Performances

Siddharth is not impressive for lack of a good script. His pranks look silly. Praneetha carries on within her potential. Rajendra Prasad excels in his role. Ahuthi Prasad does well. All others just carry on with their roles.

The Techniques

The story is not new but in an effort to present it in a different manner, the screenplay has been compromised. The dialogues do not add to the run of the story. Music is good but the placement of songs somehow looks counter-productive. Cinematography is good.

The Verdict

Bava with an actor like Siddgarth should have packed more intense drama and the narration suffers from predictability. It is a time-pass film.
