Long Journey

2017-08-16T08:37:00.000-07:00

So my life in the last couple years has been a series of ups and downs. My autistic son was diagnosed with hearing loss and now has to wear hearing aids. Do to this amany other circumstances we decided to homeschool all 5 of our children. They range from ages 6-12. So you can imagine it keeps me quite busy. I was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which turned mine and my families life upside down. Continuing on with my blog we will continue to discuss how to save money for our families but also show how each family can overcome obstacles and situations together. I hope to share deals, special, but also things that have worked for our special needs family. Thanks for coming on this journey with me and let's have fun saving together.

I made $7 buying a glucose meter, I got 6 packs of Stayfree pads, free Nivea men's shaving cream, paid only $1 for two Aveeno eczema creams, and 8 bottles of All detergent for $1.75 each. It was done in a couple transactions but it was sooo worth it. I am looking forward to another good week. How did you do this week?

Sorry, I have been away awhile, actually it has been a year. However, I am back and ready to start a new year of savings with my friends and family. Last year was a really rough year for me, two of my sons had to have surgery. I was still recouping from the birth of my fifth child and I also started school again. I decided to go back and major in early education. I am excited that it is a new year and am ready to save my family money again. Thanks for all who have stuck with me on my journey and to all my new followers I am excited to get to know each of you and your families.
