One thing about Plurk.com that is fun is meeting people you never would have met in world. I met a lady name Redwood Rhiadra who had a cute 1L top in her store and I am all RAINBOWS FTW!

I decided that being blonde would be great for my rainbow top since we all know that when two rainbows cross they create a unicorn and unicorns love blondes. True facts. If you don't like being blonde this free hair pack also comes with a bright red shade, which attracts dragons.

The shoes are a new lucky board prize from the store I recently blogged Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Twice when I was wearing these today someone stopped and asked me where they could get them! Other colors will be available soon for 10L each but right now there is a similar style already out for 10L each :)

I thought I would show a few things from the Car Wash cart sale today. RezIpsa Loc cart has 5 adorable animal print t-shirts and 4 capri pants for L$10 each. Give Me Some Djinn With That Tonic

Woot! Woot! Woot! I get to give you a sneak peak of the the upcoming SOM group gift from Djinn & Tonic Home. The fully furnished cottage is so packed full of details, you will only be seeing a bit -- even though I went into overload with my camera. At 225 prims complete, it may not fit into your prim budget, but wait! Many of the accessory groups come separately, so you can add your favorites to your existing house. Another option would be to use the house and a few of the furnishings. There ARE choices and there is always tomorrow when you might be prim rich.

CLOSING EVENING AT THE PARIS METRO ART GALLERY

It’s been a busy month at the Paris Metro Art Gallery, but the first Paris Metro show “Life is an art, here art is our life” is coming to an end today at 12:30pm SLT.

The featured artist for this first show have been Amanda Tamatzui, Kryss holmer, and JeanPierrot Hamelin. If you haven’t seen the show, today is your last opportunity to see these artists at the Paris Metro gallery.

Live music will be provided by Guitarman Flanagan, and JeanPierrot Hamelin will give away his fabulous Faberge Egg-Squeeze-It.

These gowns made from the Artist work will be for sale at a special price of only 400L$, and all proceeds going to the artist! If you didn’t get these sumptuous gowns, today will be your last opportunity to do so, with proceeds helping to support the fine arts in Second Life.

There will also be a special edition gown given to art lovers attending the exhibit closing.

Fast – Easy – Fun and Free

So many great things on the feeds this morning! Yeah! It seems like both bloggers and creators have reinvented themselves a bit. Change is frequently difficult but oftentimes needed. I am in there with the changes - new direction folks. And in some ways I am getting back to my roots. Hence this post featuring freebies. I know I have been lazy recently, but I have been out exploring this week -- hopping over to Midnight board calls and finding new locales; all with an eye toward those pretty pictures.

I didn't get a lot of perusing in this morning before I came on this fun post. I zipped over to BOOM to pick up the tube top and while I was there I found a free pencil and pen set nearby. Note that the pencil would work better -- I am sure -- if I actually had bigger boobs *wink*. Find both on the right hand wall by the black grab bags. My skin is one of two that I picked up last night from the Midnight Boards at F'd Up. I found two new skins on the Midnight Boards this morning and there are three lucky boards to check in the same inner room.

I am very impressed with these free jeans from Ivanka Akina. They are part of a big pack from the freebie wall at the TP point. Two other similar styles of jeans are included as well as prim parts. The top from the set is cute too. Upstairs there are some pretty looking summer tops, and there is a new group gift (currently worn by a model there) if you are in the joining mood. According to the message when you TP in, there will be (perhaps has been) a new group outfit to find each week.

Splitting Hairs

One of the worst decisions I had to make when creating my avatar was what hair to use. I tried several different styles before I found one I liked. And it is about what the individual likes, not other people. Here are four hair styles you might want to try on. At Kin, I found a box of free hairs. While most were for women, I found two mens hair worth checking out. The Male Hair 1 gives me a sandy look. But I’ve been told by several people I’m a true brunette.

The Kin Male Hair 4 is closer to what my shade should be.

On the counter at Uw.St , there are two free hairs. The Roy Hair hides one of my baby blues.

The Reed Hair is closer to what I normally wear. I might have to let this one “grow” on me lol

It occurred to me that I haven’t shown many dresses in a while, so I figured I would do a post featuring dresses found throughout the grid.

Paris Metro has two hunts going on tight now. The hot pink animal print Be Wild dress is the gift in the Honey Bee Hunt. This gift is at the Paris Metro: 5th Avenue location.

Many of you know the eyes I typically wear are from a store that is no longer in SL. I like eyes that have subtle veins and look realistic. So I was thrilled when a reader IMed me with a tip to check out Ibanez Eyes. There are six free eyes in baby blue, emerald, hazel, silver, teal, and tobacco. Each set of eyes contain prim eye attachments so you can mix and match to have a two tone look. Thanks for the tip, Pamela!

Changing Light

I've become obsessed with light. Not a bad thing really. No calories are involved; little chance of heartbreak.

I went over to Diva to pick up the 5000 member group gift (eight colors of hair, with and without bangs) and fell in love with the environment. So much to see, so many lovely photo opportunities. Unlike some locales, the village seemed to look good in all kinds of light.

Everywhere I looked there were possibilities. It was simply beautiful. Some right clicking and inspecting lead me to Shade Fantasy Outfitters, the maker of the garden cart in the background. There I found some outstanding meadow grass as well as a darling shabby greenhouse. So much to see, there are lots of 1 prim plants with both sound and particles options.

With landmarks safely in my inventory, I'm heading back in to RLLand. For the photographers out there, all pictures were taken in "natural" (default) Windlight settings :D.

I stopped by Lapointe & Bastchild to check out some of the free gifts they have. They have expanded their free section and have many gifts for both men and women. I noticed several spotted skins that would be great for neko or other roleplay. There were many leopard prints to choose from. The Leopard Noir Mens Skin comes in orange.

The Leopard Noir Black Skin has a panther feel to it.

And the Leopard Noir Mens Blue Skin is a cat of a different color.

And it also come without spots. This could also be used for alien, avatar, or even Andorian roleplay. Or in my case, if I’m feeling blue.

The Mens Tiger Noir Skin Set has three style to wear. Choose from the Trial, Human Face, or the Cat Face.

For those who prefer a more human look, there are three skins by Eloh Eliot. The Evocative Free Designs Men’s Skin comes in pale, tanned or dark tanned skin.The facial features are nicely detailed for a free skin and I would recommend these to any new avatar needing a skin.

Hello!

Welcome to my first post. I was so flattered and excited to be invited as a guest blogger for Free*Style. I've been reading it for about a year and a half...*fan girl waves*. I hope you enjoy my contributions and find them useful. Nuff bout me let's get on to what you're really here for yes?

There's a mini hunt going on right now called "The Little Big Nam3less Hunt". There are a ton of prizes for both genders. You're looking for conch shells *i think that's what they are* that have cute creepy little eyes poking out of them lol. The shells are really easy to find \o/. Tp to Nam3less Hunt. I'd like to thank my dear bella Miss Olela Parx for pointing the way to these nahmmy num num freebies.

These tres cute harem pants are the hunt gifts from *[DIAPOP]* 2 colors! The chest bow is a dollarbie from [M2M] , there's two huts chalked full of dollarbies for both guys and girls, woot-de-woo! The flip flops are an absolute must have, they're color change! You can find them at In Her Shoes.

The top and jeans are also gifts from the Nam3less hunt. I like this top, it comes as is with the bikini on top, it's got some funky cuts and I think it's kinda unique. The leather cuff I'm sporting is a group gift from +grasp+ , there's a few group gift boards to go and click. The gorgeous soft, smokey skin is the current 69L Humpday special from Mango, Mango! I'm a bit late for posting it, BUT lucky us Sileny's pretty good about leaving it out at the sale price for a few days.

There's also a hunt going on for the grand opening of the Industry District. You're looking for really teeny tiny gears, so keep a sharp eye out. The prizes here rocketh!

Dream Things is a ‘new to me’ shop, so when I got a message from the Fantasy merchants group about a 25L$ dress, I hopped right over to check it out.

The dress, Valentina, comes in two colours, black and brown, and comes with slacks for those of you who don’t like dresses. A cute scarf s included to add a spot of colour near your face.

There are some freebies upstairs if you like to check a sample of the shop’s products before you purchase. I picked up the Liza dress in black for 0L$.

These dresses are perfect for medieval role play, Goreans, and anyone who likes to dress in pretty clothes from another time.

Mynerva is a young store in SL - she makes skins and shapes for kids and grown ups among other things. I went over there after seeing Candy Doll use one of her shapes on her new kid skins line I blogged about earlier. Not only is the shop super cute made - with lots of rooms and even a doll house in one corner (btw a freebie from Junemoon). I went upstairs and as I saw this super cute backpack - I had to have it. The Ape blinks his eyes and by touch the hearts burst and a little banana with a face appears and follows you around (only on Sims where you have building rights). I fell in love instantly and he is backing my back these days :D

On my Blogpost about Mackenzie´s Attic - I noticed her advertisements for other Kids stores. Pink Promice is a pretty new store on SL as well I think. I TPd over and had a pleasant surprice - the store sticks to it´s name - pink and cute little shop on 2 floors. Outside there are 2 camping chairs (70 and 80min camp) and 3 freebie boxes (including this dress glasses plus a flower for your hair) Luckyboard that changes letters every 10 min and a MM Board. So alot of extra gifts for you to pick up. The clothes are not exspensive so you can buy 2 or 3 outfits where you pay the same for one in other shops. Plus they had this cute holding hand pose - perfect for pictures. She is participating on the Back To School Hunt with a great gift - a pack of skateboards in 6 different colours with a sparkling star (hence check upstairs ;-)).

My friend Dom who did the the Summer Rock Hunt with me hopped on my new poseball as we were taking the hunt gift pictures - I wanted a Besty-Picture of us also to try out the pose :-D. He is wearing one of the gifts from the Hunt.

I have some fun colorful gifties for you today! This fun skirt from Hyper Culture is a gift for the addiction hunt and comes with a sweater also (not shown.) The belt is from Izzie's and comes in a whole bunch of colors! Win! The top is part of the riot vend set from Sn@tch. Several colors of the top are included as well as an adorable mini skirt and fishnet stockings for a low price of 45L (or 50L..I can't recall but either way it is LOW.)

The boots I am wearing are from Show Me on the Doll and while not free you can get a whole bunch of different colors and patterns in the tippy toe boot gacha machine for cheap! I wanted to share a close up of the other accessories. The pink nails/ring set is an item camp for subscribers of the U&R Dogs group. The blue nails/ring set is a hunt gift in store! Pretty easy to find if you keep a watch out for music, hehe. The green earrings are one of many colors in the gacha machine for 10L and I was lucky enough to get my favorite color on the first try! Olympus – Just One Shot

Are we having fun yet? Well I am. I hadn't planned a new format, but I so enjoyed the process of getting it all in one shot earlier in the day, that I am continuing the experiment. Not all posts will be "Just One Shot", but let's get real here, as bloggers some of us tend toward narcissism -- in great quantities. I really love the extra challenge of getting the "great" shot, and this one wasn't easy. No rezzing allowed in this sim. The photographers out there in the audience can see the inherent difficulties *wink*.

Olympus is the new release; a unisex jacket, it comes in various styles and colors. You can wear with or without the tee shirt (all on one jacket layer). A slightly sloppy version with the tee shirt tails hanging out is my favorite. You can just barely see the edge of the shirt; it continues its asymmetrical dipping over my cute little "bum" as my surrogate mom used to call it.

There are plenty of fun details including a "F" shaped zipper tab, some raglan sleeve seam contrasting accent colors, and a really nice touch-resize collar. The sets include not only the different styles, but different versions for guys and gals. The band width and shading seem to be the main differences, but my rezzing capability is anything but speedy this eve, so there may be other changes that aren't registering in my short term memory.

I have lots to show you! GryphonWings has new Theta tops in store. The black gold feather top was sent to GryphonWings sub-o members earlier this month. The GryphonWings sub-o does not have a redelivery function, so sign up to receive future offers. The black and gold Theta tops are on special during this new release. The plain glitter top is only L$68 and the feathered top is L$88. The The azul jeans were sent to Equilibrium Design sub-o members recently this month. When I put on the knit brown and green open dress from Wrack it went straight into my permanent closet! This dress is a dollarbie throughout the month of July at Wrack. Slap the midnight mania board while you’re there for some really adorable grunge black boots!

I showed the amaretto Cocktails and Lace mini dress from the OoEas! midnight mania a few days ago. The other midnight mania has three Racer Back mini dresses in cream, lime green and poptart.

There is a Lazy Dayze Hunt going on at RFyre. There are 9 blossoms hidden for the women and 6 for the men at L$10 each. The blossoms contain the Mailed pieces which can be worn alone or together. This hunt started Friday and ends today at midnight SL time, so head over there soon!

The Belle skin was sent to the Cupcakes group on the 16th. The skin comes in the cameo, carnation, copper, lace, and tiramisu skin tones. The Cupcakes group has a L$100 enrollment fee, but the group members are often showered with gifts! The Lydia hair is the newest group gift for EMO-tions members.

Hopefully Carson shows us the Mailed RFyre outfit for the men soon, otherwise I will slap on a male shape and show you later today!

The Addiction Hunt has already made its way all over the feeds, but there's one particular free denim zip minidress gift by Ancayi that I can't seem to stop parading around in. As always, the deets make it: a hint of black lace barely peeking out of the bodice, the full-body zip-up + the double-cherry stamp are just the cutest.
You can never have enough cherry, so I'm showing yet another gift from the Twisted & Spoiled lucky chairs: these free super furry, shagadelic cherry-red boots. The way the "fur" shimmers + moves on these is absolutely divine; plus the little "star" drawstrings are just adorable.
