2. Faktor Darah dan Keturunan yang sama (common ancestry)

Keturunan yang sama semenjak zaman dahulu merupakan dasar persatuan dan tali persaudaraan yg terkuat bagi umat insan. Berdasarkan keturunan yang sama, individu-individu yang tinggal dalam suatu warga yang merasa memiliki latar belakang suku bangsa atau nenek moyang yg sama kemudian membangun sebuah kelompok sosial, seperti kelompok keturunan Arab & grup keturunan Cina.

3. Faktor Geografis

Adanya jarak yg dekat membuahkan individu-individu bisa saling bertemu, melakukan kontak fisik, dan mengadakan hubungan sosiai sehingga tercipta sebuah grup sosial. Misalnya, individu-individu yang tinggal di kurang lebih pantai, mereka bekerjasama pada memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya
sehingga tercipta gerombolan neiayan. Begitu jua menggunakan rakyat yang hayati di pedesaan &
bermata pencaharian menjadi petani, maka muncullah gerombolan -kelompok tani.

4. Faktor Daerah Asal yg Sama

Kesamaan daerah dari terkadang digunakan menjadi dasar bagi pembentukan sebuah grup sosial.
Hal ini seringkaii terjadi bila individu-individu tersebut hidup di daerah perantauan. Merasa mempunyai budaya yang sama, bahasa yg sama, cara berpikir dan mempunyai pola kerja yg sama, akhirnya individu-individu tersebut menciptakan sebuah grup sosial. Contohnya, KMJB (Keluarga Mahasiswa Jawa Barat), Keluarga Besar Minang, & Keiuarga Besar Ende Lio.
