Episode 6 is here, the second of 2012. We take a look at the skills and insane hop Dakota Roche has in the recent Cinema Wheels edit. Also, late breaking edits and news that needs atttention. First up is the 40th birthday of The Condor, Mat Hoffman. Thats right kids, 40 years old and still puts all of us in awe. As a thank you for everyone’s birthday wishes Mat posted a short two trick run on youtube. This isn’t to be taken lightly, since those tricks include a 540 tab into a flair. Not your average run. Second is a call to action for some trails that are on the chopping block. We go over a quick edit of Mike Cottle and discuss the impending trouble at Florida’s Casselberry Trails. Just as a quick point the city of Casselberry is sticking the land owners and locals with code violations and hiding behind nonsense environmental accusations as reason to plow the trails. Freestyle 5 ep.5: Bestwick Interview, Dreamline Interview

Welcome to episode 5 of Freestyle 5. We are kicking off 2012 with a new format and some big news. We are becoming a weekly show, so we can keep up with the vast amount of killer edits coming out. Expect the same high quality interviews and product reviews to follow. So stay tuned and check in often.
For now enjoy two interviews never seen in public before. The first one is with Redbull’s Anthony Napolitan and Northeast Destroyer Brian Hunt, discussion this past years Redbull Dreamline dirt competition. The second interview is with vert legend Jamie Bestwick. We had a chance to sit down and ask Jamie some questions about his roles as a top podium contest rider and also as tv personality for the dew tour contests; and questions about where bmx has come from and where it is headed. Well here we are on the fourth episode. Summer has come to an end, but we continue to bring you the latest and greatest edits and interviews with the legends of this thing we call bmx. We have a special episode for you today. We take a look at Garrett Reynolds new company Fiend Bmx and the insane edit premiering it. We have two interviews in this episode; one with Dean Dickinson about the Mike Tag Benefit jam that went down here in Portland this summer, and one with one of the most influential guys in bmx, on and off the bike, DMC. We also take a look at FIT Bikes new top load stem, Brian Foster approved. Along with some news, the usual Shredders of the Past, and an opportunity to win yourself some goodies from Animal Bmx, this is an episode you dont want to miss. Summer may be on the way out, but we are just geting started.

Freestyle5 Episode 2 has arrived and ready for you to view. Things have been progressing since
episode 1, including the development of our Itunes podcast, which brings Freestyle5 to you in even
more formats. We have also included a new segment for you; talking about important moments in Bmx
history that helped to define the very thing we are all here for.

Now let us take a look at what is in store for you in this episode. We will go over some of the
latest web edits to turn some heads; including Defgrip’s “Nike Pool” edit, Mutiny’s Helicam test, and a
look at Washington’s Joe Pennell edit. We will take a look at a few of the products coming out of Duo.
Also we will hit the streets to check out the Goods Bmx video premiere and get some stories from the

Freestyle5 BMX Episode #1:United,WTP-Mexico Trip, Chester and more

So here we are; the great moment we have only mentioned a few times; the very first episode
of Freestyle5. What is Freeestyle5 you say? Well it’s everything bmx; flatland, vert, dirt, street, park, and
whatever else you can create with your little kids bicycles. Freestyle5 encompasses all of these areas in
a 15 minute web show, where we discuss the latest and greatest web edits, products, and events. There
are interviews with those who make it happen in bmx; including riders, videographers, artists, and more.

Now that you have an idea for the amazing show you are about to watch let’s give you a brief
summary of what you can expect in this first episode. Along with discussions and breakdowns of the
latest and greatest web edits like Mike Escamilla’s “This is United” section, Haro’s “Chile 8mm” edit,
and the adventurous We the people trip to Mexico “Southbound and Down”, you also get an in depth
interview with Chester Blacksmith about the We the People trip and all the trials and tribulations that
went along with it. Also on the docket is a look at the new Vans / Cult collaborating grip and a quick look
at an event for a worthy cause coming up soon in Portland, OR.

So sit back, relax, crack a beer (root beer for the age deprived), and enjoy the show, because it is
