Masih ingat kapan pertama kali bolos sekolah...??

Tadi malam benakku bermain kembali melintasi masa kecil yg kian samar dalam ingatan.
Buram berhimpitan satu sama lainnya tanpa tahu pasti kapan dan dimana, bersama siapa dan untuk apa.

Ingatan akan bolos itu hadirkan guratan senyum dengan perasaan geli.

"Mak, teman2ku sudah pernah bolos semua, aku sendiri yg belom pernah" aku mengadu sama Emak suatu hari yg telah kulupa apakah itu akhir kelas 1 SD atau di awal kelas 2. pokoknya sekitar itu lah. Bersyukur jg seh karena waktu itu aku memeang blom pernah tidak masuk sekolah baik itu karena alasan kesehatan ataupun alasan lainnya.

Emak memandangku penuh penasaran, menyelidik sesuatu yang tersembunyi di bening dan polosnya mataku (ciyeee....:D).

"Aku ga berangkat sekolah hari ini ya, Mak?" pintaku.
"Aku ingin merasakan bolos seperti teman2" sambungku lagi.

Cukup lama si Emak bengong dan mungkin bingung menghadapi permintaanku yg diluar kebiasaan ini.
Akhirnya diawali sebuah senyuman, Emak menganggukkan kepala "Boleh deh kalo gitu, iyos bolos aja hari ini"

Aku lupa apa reaksiku waktu itu, juga lupa apa yg kurasakan. Hanya senyuman geli yg lahir mengingatnya.

"Untuk apa kalkulator, makenya saja belom tentu bisa" jawab mereka
"Bisa kok, tadi aku sudah coba pake punya si Ucok" kataku lagi sambil menyebut temenku yg bernama Ucok.

Aku ingat betul, Ayah langsung pergi, aku tidak tahu kemana, yang jelas tidak sampai satu jam kemudian Ayah pulang membawa kalkulator yang kumaksud.

"Ini kan kalkulator yang kamu maksud" tanya Ayah sambil menyerahkannya kepadaku.

"Betul ini, Yah..." dengan riang aku menerimanya

Orangtuaku hanya tersenyum ikut menikmati kerianganku.

Baru beberapa waktu kemudian, pastinya lupa kapan, aku tahu yg kumaksud kalkulator itu bukanlah kalkulator yg sebenarnya. Itu adalah sebuah alat buat hitung2an yg mirip sempoa yg terdiri dari sepuluh baris yg terisi dengan sepuluh bola pada masing2 barisnya yg bisa di geser2.

Sampai sekarang aku gatau apa itu namanya.
