aiMinesweeper is a mobile version of one of the best single-player logical games ever made. The basic gameplay style became a popular but minor part of the puzzle game genre during the 1980s, with such titles as Mined-Out and Yomp. Cube was further succeeded by Relentless Logic, by Conway, Hong, and Smith, which was available for MS-DOS as early as 1985. The game is still very popular among players of different age and social origin. The proof is the fact that it is still included in the latest version of Microsoft Windows.

Our application is classic, “old school” version of that game. All we add to it is our love, style and time Please enjoy of it.

Sciphone G2 is the new Android Phone

HTC Dream was the 1st Google phone now meet G2 by Sciphone. ModmyGphone.com reports that the UI is pretty much the same, although some stock apps have been replaced with custom Messaging, Media and Google Mobile apps. It also supports Java MIDP 2.0 apps. On the hardware side, it has a 2.8″, 320×240 res, 262K TFT screen, EDGE(no 3G), 4 MP camera with auto-focus, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, AVRCP support and FM radio.

TooDo has many features regarding the handling of the todos and their categories. Most are details, but this makes all the difference with a traditional daily task manager.

TooDo handles a very simple task, i.e. managing todos, but it does that in a smart way, with ergonomics considerations in mind. Here a list of features that TooDo supports.

Geographically-based reminder notifications by tracking down the Android device location in real time
Contextually-based reminder notifications when the end-user switches his current context and that a todo matches with that context
Emission and reception of todos with a complete workflow to one or multiple recipients, via SMS. GTalk is not supported any more
Two-way synchronization of TooDo todos and categories with the tasks and lists of the “Remember the Milk” service
Two-way synchronization of TooDo todos and categories with the tasks and folders of the “Toodledo” service
Supports quick notes: textual, audio, video
Creation/edition of todos through a rich user interface
Classification of todos through categories, which propose default behaviours to todos
Filtering and search of todos
Various reminder notifications through sound, vibration, led. All notifications can be suspended for a while
Fully internationalizable (this is not possible for the moment in Android, but all texts are not “hard-coded”)
Extensible for synchronization to any task manager web service (provided its makes and API available)

twitli is a Twitter client for Android smartphones. twitli is aimed at providing a maximum number of features while keeping the user interface easy to use. The number of buttons is limited: rather than putting “follow” and “direct message” buttons on the screen, twitli gives acess to these features by clicking a user name. After clicking a user name you can

send an @reply
send a DM
view that users messages
view their website
view their profile
see their full name
stop following them

Other features:

make a picture, upload to Flickr, tweet the picture
follow users with one click
show your timeline
show @replies you received
show DMs
switch on automatic refresh
select number of tweets on your screen

Via the android menu, there is a function “follow” that shows all user names that currently appear in the timeline shown. By clicking a name, you follow that person. This makes it extremely easy to follow people. Following people is what makes Twitter interesting.

The screen of a smartphone is small. That’s why you want to use the space efficiently. twitli shows pictures in landscape view, but doesn’t in portrait view. Showing pictures takes space, so in portrait view you see more tweets on your screen.

Google maps on Tmobile Android G1 looks awesome

Have a look @ the video and see how cool the Map features are on Android. You can pan around and zoom in and out easily using just your thumb on the touchscreen and while in street view you can just turn around with the phone in your hand and the street view aligns itself to face in that direction. One other thing I noticed was that in the normal view the maps had more detail on on the buildings as shown in the screengrab this is not there on Windows Mobile.
