The continued rise of Scottish award winning techno Dj/Producer Stevie Wilson is growing in epic proportion. Since he started producing techno music only in May 2011 his tracks have been well received in the techno community and gaining massive support from Dj's all over the world & not only that he has now WON the award for best Scottish Techno Producer 2012 at the Scottish Electronic Music Maker Awards (EMMAS) and this has now firmly made his name stand out amongst the others in the techno scene and show them all that he means business. He caught the eye of the Massive techno label Italo Business and released his 14 track debut album Technaphobiq with them & In this short space of time producing techno music he has also released tracks on Naked Lunch, The Zone Records, Re-Washed Ltd, Shout Records, Parallel 125, Freitag Limited, Re Logical Records, Herzschlag Recordings, Plastiq Records, Clutch Trax, Fixate Records, Alien Force Digital, Tekz Records & Bunk3r R3cords. He's also done many different remixes for the likes of Loso, Oleg Mass & Alex Okrazo, Sobar & Gorziza, Gene Karz, Macgregor, A.Hvich, Kem Dust, Ninna V, The Sublime, Onassis, D.O.O.M, Emir Hazir, Tactic Tech and many more. Stevie's passion for music started at a very early age. From the days of school buying and swapping music with friends it was clear to him then that he had to take the next step and get his first set of decks. Since then stevie has never looked back and is always pushing the boundaries with his musical and technical abilities when he is performing in clubs and this also shines through with his production and he is now creating his own sound which is being recognised within the techno scene and this has led to him amounting a massive following for his gigs and also his production work. His main influences from the early days were people like Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Bass Generator, Mikey B, Easygroove, Technotrance and basically the whole early hardcore techno / breakbeat era. Nowadays his influences are people like Virgil Enzinger, A.Paul, The Advent & Industrialyzer, Dave Clarke, Eddie Halliwell, Chris Liebing, Monoloc, Pfirter, Alan Fitzpatrick, Gary Beck and loads more. The amazing thing is he has got to play alongside some of these guys who inspire him so much such as A.Paul, Eddie Halliwell, Alan Fitzpatrick, Valentino Kanzyani, Judge Jules, Hernan Cattaneo, Hans Bouffmyhre,Randy Katana, Dj Misjah and many more and he has also played outside the UK in various places accross europe (Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Irleand,) & with many more gigs already booked for 2013 its looking as if its going to be a very busy year Stevie has played at all the best venues in Scotland such as The Arches, Room At The Top, The Soundhaus, Ivory Blacks, The Metro, Club 69, Liquid Rooms and that’s just to name a few which has spread over various club nights. So you can tell techno is his passion, his life and an art form he clearly loves.

Pierre (38) was born in 1974 near Cologne, he grew up there and for him Rhineland is the place of joy and openness. Pierre is more than 22 years in the techno scene. At the age of 3 years he moved to Cologne. At 14 began a passion for radio and music. He mixed music with a double tape deck and made demos for radio stations. He started as a DJ in a discotheque in Bonn. At 21 he moved to Bonn, where Pierre started some Internet portals. After years of independence, he started a bourgeois life. Since his 24th birthday he is working at a large German company. First as a programmer and later as project manager. In 2003 Pierre marries and his wife gets three kids (8,7 and 2). In 2006 Pierre returns under the old artist name “PierreLeFou”. First he looked at the current analog and digital DJ market. 2007/2008 followed step by step to build a home recording studio and in 2009 grows idea of the project “C2H2 Klangkörper”, the idea of deep techno sounds. To market the tracks itself Pierre founded the label “Klangkorpus” in early 2010. Since May 2011, more than 30 releases are appeared. Since late 2011 Pierre offers his tracks to other labels. Pierre Braun is the new star on the sky of the techno scene, when we are talking about "Deep Additive Techno". This is what Pierre is focused on. But he also has other musical influences, which are usually obvious in his remixes or can also be heard in his Minus EP. Pierre Braun is inspired and driven by ADHD, which belongs to him just like the air we breathe. With his mobile recorder "Zoom", he is often on the road and records everything that sounds interesting. Apart from his own productions and remixes, Pierre makes mastering for other artists. Since April 2012 Pierre founded the new label called „DAT“. DAT stands for „Deep Additive Techno“. The name DAT came as he gave his music a name. Deep Additive Techno describes music that is distributed in 4 variety reverb rooms. Away from near to far far. DAT is deep and dark techno club sound. Something softer, sometimes harder. The music has a low cut at 30Hz and a high cut at 16,000 Hz which is the best way for digital and analog. DAT has many pressure in the low frequencies. The four reverb rooms are compressed differently, before they go into the sum.

Simone Bortolato (born in 1988) aka LOSO is an Italian Techno Producer. From a young age, he shows passion for heavy sounds. At 12, influenced by his older sister, he starts listening to hardcore from Rotterdam. Going clubbing, his passion grows stronger up until the age of 17, when he buys his first CDJ and starts creating powerful sets for friends and becoming known on SoundCloud. In 2011, the will for change takes him to enrol at the SAE Institute. In only 6 months, he releases for the following labels: Fixate Records, Dark & Sonorous Recordings, Black Reel Records, Shout Records, Bass Assault Records, Tekx Records, Misdeed Records, Backroom Muzik, Aztech Music, K:Lender Limited , Freitag Limited and more... Measure Divide (aka Subfractal) is the new project of music producer Fahad Ahmad who is better known to us as one half of techno powerhouse duo Subfractal. After working for more than five years pushing the envelope of Techno under the Subfractal moniker, he decided to start a new platform for his own expression. His commitment to finding new and innovative techniques to produce groundbreaking techno led him to start this project. After hearing the first few productions it comes without a doubt that Measure Divide is his channel to satisfy his thirst for earth shattering deeper, harder and darker techno. The distorted sound design, rumbling low-end and big fluxes of synths are essential to his sound and are showcased in his productions. After hearing the first couple of releases, he was instantly picked up personally by Techno giant Erphun who will be introducing Measure Divide on his label Brood Audio in 2012 to the rest of the world. When asked about the the reason he started this project, he responded, “I have worked for a long time under Subfractal and am satisfied with the way things have gone. Without doubt I am very proud of the accomplishments. With time I wanted to experiment and try out new ways to better express myself. Measure Divide, for me, is that outlet. It’s a personal project of mine which I work on using a different approach, somewhere where I can be free and not stick to the usual structure of music and what the fans of “Subfractal” are expecting. I will of course be working under Subfractal as well at the same time.” With more productions being made in his Toronto studio, expectations are soaring high for the talented artist and 2012 will be the year when all will be unveiled.

SIMO LORENZ – will surely be heard more often in the future! The charimatic guy from Stuttgart managed to establish himself in a very short time in his hometown and already counts internationally as a demanded newcomer and talent. The longtime vinyl fetishist played his first public gigs five years ago and from 2009 at club ToY regurlarly. He’s not only DJ’ing there but promotes his own event series „Contorsion“ also. Another frequent playground is the legendary Club Lehmann. Simo has not only arrived in Stuttgart, he already charmed the crowd at festivals like Day & Night, SEMF, at club gigs at BOINK! in Vienna or at the Ruhr in Love Driving Forces Aftershow Party at Kunstpark in Cologne. Mr. Lorenz studio productions are also on the rise. His sound ranges from dark and straight Techno to groovy, hypnotic and deep rhytms, which he prefers to present in devoting DJ-sets up to 8 hours. After having experienced rave culture in Sweden, Denmark and Germany during the 90s Johan Nilsson felt it was time to be a little more creative with what had become his favorite music. In 1997 Johan started as a DJ in his home town Malmö, Sweden. Pretty soon Johan started to get gigs at underground parties in his hometown and soon tried to get exposure to other areas by spreading his Dj sets on the internet. Around 2000 this led him in contact with Ari Shohat who at the time had recently launched Digitally Imported Radio as a hobby project at his home in New York City. Alongside a couple of other DJs Johan started doing live sets on DI Radio but soon got more and more involved as a channel manager. As DI Radio continued to grow Johan came on board full time around 2005 and have been with DI as a senior program manager ever since. Johan has launched and continue to manage the Techno, Minimal, Progressive, Acid, Oldschool and Hard Dance channels among other things. In the early 2000s Johan’s exposure through DI and his well-received DJ mixes led to gigs far outside his hometown in Sweden. Gig destinations included New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, Cairo, Istanbul, Ankara, Copenhagen, Utrecht, Brisbane and many more. These days Johan is working hard with the continuing development of the DI Radio channels he once launched. Helping big and small artists around the world getting exposure as well as making sure the listener enjoyment is as high as possible for all DI Radio fans.

Hefty is an emerging techno artist from London UK and owner of Darker Sounds record label. He has always had a passion for music and a fascination with the dark side of life. His love for music didn’t manifest itself in the form of djing until 2001 when he was introduced by a university friend to the London underground party scene. Blown away by the exciting venues, amazing music and incredible atmosphere he was drawn in to the underground and never left. After many parties it dawned on him, this is what he wanted to do. He left university and bought his decks and never looked back. He owes a lot to the underground parties which defined his bass fueled dark Hefty style. Priding himself on not playing the obvious and keeping to his own style he managed to carve a name for himself playing evil electrobotic electro and hefty tek breaks, his sets known for their dark sounds, hefty bass and varied track selection. In 2007 everything changed. He had to have surgery on his back, which meant he was unable to be active in the scene for nearly 2 years. Unfortunately the dark style of electro/breaks he loved was no longer being produced. So he decided to investigate alternative genres. He found Techno. From 2009 - 2010 he worked hard learning the art of techno/minimal production using Reason. Using his knowledge of the darker side of life for inspiration he has now created his own unique style of dark, abstract, bass fueled hypnotic minimal and heavy dark driving twisted techno, which has received huge interest in the global minimal and techno scenes. His music has reached international audiences through releases on many well respected labels, and he has destroyed dancefloors in Holland, Poland, Switzerland, France and Germany, with his sets full of dark heavyweight techno. He has also recently joined INKOGNITO booking agency alongside A-Brothers, October Rust, Knobs, Go!Diva, Snello and more! With the support, respect and friendship of some big names in the techno scene such as Erphun, Patrick D.S.P, Octave, Microcheep & Mollo, Vegim, Brian Burger, Tex-Rex, Subfractal, Lance Blaise, Positive Merge and many more, a solid and loyal international fan base, upcoming international gigs, Eps, remixes, collaborations and other exciting projects coming up (including Darker Sounds label nights), Hefty is determined to unleash his dark sounds on the public and continue to explore the realms of minimal and techno. Matthew Agius born in 1986 was influenced by techno music from the age of 11. He used to buy tapes and cd albums, and also trying to produce some music of his own using computer software at an early age. He was always into music and at the age of 14 he used to attend to a studio called ''Black Toe'' where he used to practice everyday and improvement was shown as months were passing by. His first gig was at a small club in Malta organised by FACT music agency, and after his performance the crowd seemed to be quite interested in this young guy. Then he was invited to be a resident at Redsquare Club by Fused Djing every Saturday night. He had a good response from Maltese crowd, and he performed together with big names such as, Tobias Schmidt, Bill youngman, Lars Klein, Carl Max, Dj Rush, Pet Duo, Dj Dexon, Oliver Ho, Mario Ranieri, Dj Spark, Felix Krocher, Tobias Luke aka OBI, Greg Notill, Waldhaus & Weichentechnikk, Sven Wittekind, reche & recall, Dave Clarke, Phil kieran, NDK, Bass Invaders, TSR, Anthony Rother, Andy Norman, Boris S, Arkus P, Robert Natus, Kaoz, Mark Hawkins, Eddie Halliwell, Smash Tv, Neil Landstrum, Dave Tarrida, Johannes Heil, Umek, Scan X and more. Yan was born in Kiev Ukraine, 1991. At the young age of sixteen he was introduced to electronic music, more specifically Techno and his love for it was instantaneous! In just one year of dabbling around with software synths and teaching himself production he had released his first EP on Beatport. Since then he has worked hard in fine tuning his stone cold, hard Techno sound and establishing his brand. Even though he has worked under a few different aliases as well as other production partners, he finally came to the realization that his musical career is a journey he has to pursue and build on his own. For that reason, in 2011 his global fan base saw the end of the “Eigenes Rezept” moniker and solely began producing as “Yan Cook”. Besides his obvious talent for music production, Yan has completed some education in the culinary arts, hence the name Yan “Cook”! Yan Cook’s Techno is definitely a force to be reckoned with on the dance floor and his signature haunting atmospheres and pounding basslines in his tracks definitely leave a lasting impression with his audience. Now a days Israel Toledo is one of the most mexican exported Techno djs, in his sets normally likes to play Groovy-Darker-Drumming Techno sounds. After 12 years producing in many mexican labels, In 2004 his remix of "Quetzalcoatl" for Corvin Dalek at Mark Reeder´s German label MFS-FLESH established Toledo as an international artist with its inmediate succes, making the charts of artists such as Ortin Cam, Dj Mad Max (Tresor), Chris Fortier, Ryuji Tekeuchi, Thomas Penton and Dj Dex (Underground Resistance). The same year the remix was edited into the Love Parade CD compilation on the mexican edition and edited in Poland for LIFE Magazine. That year Israel Toledo´s track/ep called "Edge of Empire" was released at the Dutch Techno label Klirfactor/Highland Beats featured with Jorg W. Henze and Lars Klein. In 2005 Israel Toledo edited again on a German label, this time: MASTERS OF DISASTER(013), a very known techno label with his track called "Mexico City”. After that, he has been producing many releases and remixes for many labels world wide and playing at the bigest festivals in Mexico such as Love Parade Mexico and Mayday Mexico and well known Clubs in Europe: Tor3 in Düsseldorf, BKI Hamburg, DoornRoosje in Holland, Korsakoff and other countries as Austria, U.S.A and Venezuela.
