It's Memorial Day weekend over here, which means no school or work on Monday. In the US, this weekend also marks the official beginning of the pool season and the inauguration of summer outdoor cooking - and that's exactly our plan this weekend : laying by the pool and grilling some good food on the barbecue - the perfect lazy weekend!

In total love with these kids corners. They are so far away from the standardized kids rooms seen in catalogs. I really like the unexpected twist and personality these spaces demonstrate - special crush on the plywood diy rolling toddler bed in pic 6. Now, that's plain genius!

Hello my dear! So good to be back! I had a wonderful time off, I must admit. So many happy moments happened this week for me, a good friend visiting from Paris, my birthday and a big birthday party organized by my other half with some cool friends, a couple of guest posts on some amazing blogs [see here or here] and a limited time on the computer or any other iDevice - it really felt like detox.

Oh, what a week this has been! Overwhelming, full of wonderful surprises and very rewarding but so exhausting... I fell in love with this home located in Southern Sweden. Ah... such a peaceful and harmonious interior. Somehow, the owners recreated a Japanese zen mood throughout their space, mixing Orient with Scandinavia in a truly unique way. J'aime a lot!

Helloooo weekend! I am glad it's the end of the week, even though it's going to be a partial weekend for me... I voluntereed to help out at the French Presidential election's voting center all day Saturday {French expatriates get to vote on Saturday while mainland French citizens vote on Sunday}. So naturally, Sunday, I plan to do exactly like this little pup' on the picture : chill out and stay in my pjs all day while checking the results of the first round of the French Presidential elections. If you are French, please go vote... Why? Because you can! ;-)
