Based on what we have seen, prices will be right around $150 and get you right for the summer.

In case you didn’t know, the upper is all white leather with elephant print at the heel, toe area and lacing stays. Blue trimming fills the mudguard, liner, and eyelets, with additional red accents on the branding and lower eyelets. Finally, a grey outsole sits below the white midsole.

All-new for 2011 is the Air Jordan XII Low in this Black/Varsity Red colorway, utilizing patent leather on the mudguard and nubuck on the remaining upper. There’s no doubt a Mid-top version of these would’ve absolutely killed, but the Lows are a nice touch as well, especially with warmer months ahead. These aren’t designed exactly like the originals, as the upper features the minor perforations that we first saw on the Air Jordan XII ‘Rising Sun’ of 2009. These are slated to release on May 28, 2011.

The Nikon D5000′s successor features an LCD display that will swivel to the side, a new HDR feature and several special effects during video such as selective colors and miniature effects. It comes in stunning matte black with bright red calipers and a new set of 21 inch wheels. Its interiors are rich in carbon fiber elements, black leather, and Alcantara mixed with red trim and cross stitching on the seats. Its statistics come as 510 HP at 6500 rpm out of its V12 engine. Rumour also has it that it may be updated to 560HP. No news on the price yet either.

The Range Rover Evoque concept road bike debuts at the Geneva Motor Show

Seems to be raining bikes today, as Range Rover takes the BMW road and enters the cycle arena. But unlike BMW, this concept is a road bike and not a racer. Designed by Gerry McGovern, the recreational vehicle concept is called as the Range Rover Evoque concept road bike. Taking cue from the car its built on, the bike spots a high modulus carbon fiber monocoque frame, which has been handmade by Karbona. The car features a F1 race car style building approach with aerospace alloy handle bars and composite seat post to keep the weight light. This bike will also come with a 20-gear Shimano Ultegra system, and will also bear the Range Rover and Evoque styled graphics.

Luxurious like all its SUVs, the bike will come with a leather seat and silicone-gel grips for added comfort. This single unit concept road bike was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Hopefully a market friendly model will be in the pipeline soon.

JORDAN BRAND RUMORED RELEASES FOR 2011

Recently, a supposedly very reputable Nike represevtative (who accurately reported on the “Infrared” VI Pack and the “Olympic” VII Re-Retro months ago) has “spilled the beans” on Jordan Brand’s plans for 2011. The batch of information had some things that were already known or rumored, like the releases of the “Playoff” XIII Retro (albeit, at a different time of 2/26/11), “Cardinal” and “Bordeaux” VIII Retros, and “Grape”/”Laney” V Retro Pack (with a possible release set for August). Most of the information, though, is new to most of us. Some little details include the long-awaited Jordan Brand box change and the next Bin 23 sneaker: a Premio version of the Air Jordan V. If those rumors are true, then you should see more information on them soon. For now, let’s get to the three biggest headlines.

Jordan 6 "Olympic"

Out of all Air Jordan VI Retro’s that release last decade, the Black/Infrared Air Jordan VI Retro from 2000 still remains the highest-valued of all of the Retros. Right behind the Black/Infrared VI Retro, though, is the “Olympic” VI Retro. A deadstock pair of the “Olympic” VI Retro can go for as high as $550 in some places! The shoe initially released in celebration of the 2000 Olympic Games. Eleven years later, it’s looking like the shoe will see the light of day once again! You heard me right. The “Olympic” Air Jordan VI Retro is rumored to re-release next year, specifically in September. You can’t even wait, right!?

Within 2009, 2010, and 2011 alone, it seems like almost every Jordan legacy model from 1-XIII is getting a wave of Retros, with the only exceptions being the IV, VIII, and X. The VIII had a huge run in 2007, so I could understand the lack of them now. As for the other two, it looks like we can expect Retro runs for each model in the Fall/Winter 2011 Season! Specifically, the representative cited two pairs re-releasing that would drive original Jordan heads crazy: the “White Cement” IV and “Chicago” X. Others are bound to join them as well, so stay tuned.

This rumor, if true, could easily outdo any rumor that has been made in the past few years. 2008, 2009, and 2010 all had (and will have) Air Jordan XI Retros. 2008 brought us the CDP version of the “Bred” Air Jordan XI Retro. In 2009, Jordan Brand blessed us with a gift straight from outer space: the “Space Jam” Air Jordan XI Retro. 2010 already had the all-new “Silver Anniversary” Air Jordan XI Retro, and will have the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan XI Retro in store for us shoe lovers. In 2011, though, it looks like Jordan Brand will release two long-awaited Air Jordan XI Retros: The “Concords” and “Columbias.” These Air Jordan XI Retros are the only two left out of the 2000/2001 XI Retros that never re-Retro’ed after. If they both release in 2011, expect madness to ensue. Possibly even more madness than if the world was about to end. Landing a pair of XI Retros when they release could easily make or break someone for a while. Even more astounding is a small detail in the rumor that the shoes might release together in a pack. I couldn’t even imagine what insanity would be caused by an Air Jordan XI Pack. Stick with Sole Camp for further information on all of these rumors. “Money, it’s gotta be the shoes”. There are a lot of excellent Spike Lee joints out there, but the Mars Blackmon Nike ads really put Spike Lee on the pop culture map. In 1989, Lee was a young film maker and Michael Jordan was unsuccessfully trying to take NBA titles away from Magic, Larry Legend and Isiah. Nike was also relatively early in its plans of global domination, but really got on its way thanks to creative advertising and perfecting the multinational corporate concept.

The “Mars Blackmon” marketing campaign was one of Nike’s best and most entertaining. “Mars” was a scrawny, dorky, MJ wannabe who thought he had discovered how Jordan could fly. Mars’ famous line was, “Money [Jordan], it’s gotta be the shoes”. Nike worked this campaign into posters, commercials, t-shirts and obviously sneakers which I still buy today. There's a sucker born everyday I guess.

The poster is one of the most sought after Jordan posters ever, but unfortunately it’s of course out of print today. That means that Jordan collectors have to pay quite a bit for a vintage copy. The poster can be found fairly regularly on eBay if you’re willing to shell-out some serious cash
