The “Ludwig Apartment“ is located in San Fransisco, California and it is a new approach made by Craig Steely of a place that originally had four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Here is some of the information we found on the designer’s site concerning this project: “the original 4-bedroom/4-bath penthouse was a rabbit’s warren of confusing rooms. In our re-design, rooms were combined and uses were re-assigned to allow the occupants to take advantage of the views looking north and south and the movement of the sun through out the day.Materials used are clear and etched 1/2″ glass, slabs of Black walnut, hand made mosaic tile walls, and gun blued steel.”- via Momoy.com

Uprising Resin Bookend

This awesome little wave sculpture was inspired by the famous Uprisings print by Kozyndan. I have to say that I’ve saw a lot of fun and creative bookends until now, and you can see a lot of them here on Freshome, but this is one of the best. The Uprising Resin Bookend is produced by Munky King, it 9.5 inches tall and is right now is in production. When it will be launched this product will be in limited edition ( only 10 pieces ).

New Prada Store in Paris

If you expected for the new Prada store in Paris to have a powerful design identity, than you are probably very satisfied with the final results. The store is situated on Place Beauvau, no 92 and it was designed by Roberto Baciocchi. The facade of the building is a reminder of the Pont Mirabeau, a famous French bridge built in 1895. Art seems to unite all the elements of design in the store and impressive silhouettes greet you as you look around for fashionable and famous things to purchase. Bronze, glass and mirrors are present, emphasizing on the opulence which characterizes the brand.
