Using Small Birds to Keep the Clothes on the Washing Lines

A lot of people use the nature as their source of inspiration. For example “Early Bird” designed by Fabian von Spreckelsen was inspired in a moment when he wanted to capture a picture by using small birds to keep the clothes on the washing line instead of using conventional cloth pegs. Fabian designed the Early Bird clothes pins after seeing birds perched on power lines. They are much cuter than your traditional clothes pins, and they bring a whimsical touch to a household chore. The Early Bird clothes pins are just one more incentive to give up that un-earth-conscious clothes dryer. Finally I think that with this product Fabian Von Spreckelsen made hanging clothes a little more enjoyable don’t you think ?

Amazing Staircased Office Building in Groningen

NL Architects is an architecture company in The Netherlands. The team recently “showcased” their newest project, the SoZaWe in Groningen. This is actually an ingenious office building constructed in stairs for the city’s Welfare Department and Work Agency. Terraces and and plenty of green spaces make it more friendly and also a very pleasant sight for the people of Groningen. There are a total of nine floors, all getting a maximum amount of light due to the building initial architectural plans and all having access to the green roof.

As any friendly working space, the building also features a restaurant and a coffee shop. If all these didn’t get your attention, its location really makes things interesting for the citizens of Groningen who are not yet decided about where to work. The office building is located very close to the center of the city, which can really take the pressure off having to drive a long way to work.- via

New Approach to Door Design : Useful or Not ?

In this post we are going to present an innovative new approach to a design object as old as the idea of dwelling itself. Usually we don’t pay to much attention to a door, but this one really got my attention. ThreeStyle adds a humble but critical twist to the typical contemporary door – nothing too off-the-wall in terms of its aesthetic, but novel in its approach on a more fundamental level. Simple metal handles sit on wood-paneled frames which, in turn, stack neatly within one another like nesting dolls or something out of Alice’s Wonderland. Interesting and Flashy Interior Design From by Altamoda

We found this really interesting interior design on Altamoda and you probably can tell why it got our attention. We are not sure how many of you out there would go for such a design, however, you have to admit this living-room is really flashy and eye-catching. Classic elements and modern influences are the basis of this otherwise florid design. Part of the “chic” collection, the furniture elements and decorative items are all so sparkling, that you really don’t know where to look first. The reindeer are definitely one of the focal points of the room due to their impressive dimensions and their location around the main table. Candles are spread throughout the room contributing to the room’s atmosphere. The cushions are originally shaped and colourful. We are looking forward to your opinions on the ideas below.
