Installing the software

To ensure that the G Data software functions smoothly, your
computer should meet the following

If your computer is or has already been protected by antivirus

To begin the installation, insert the
G Data software CD
or c onnect the
G Data software USB stick
to your
computer. An installation window will open
automatically.

Now click on the
Install
button. A wizard then guides
you through the process of installing the software on
your computer. Once you have entered the required
information, the wizard starts installing the s oftware on
your system.

You may have to restart your computer after the
installation is complete. The G Data software will then
be ready for use.

On the first run

When you run the G Data software, two wizards automatically
open one after the other. They will help you create important
settings for the software. As soon as this is done and you are
familiar with how the software work s, you can disable these
wizards and create settings in the software yourself.

ADM is an 808, 909 and 606 emulator rolled into one also capable of triggering the user’s own samples. ADM contains 25 drum generators, each one carefully modeled after the classics’ analog circuits and 4 PCM players, for a total of 34 sounds (some generators have two sounds). Certain sounds have been extended with extra parameters, like the tuning and attack of the 606 bassdrum. The accents effect on bridged-T oscillators that make up the bassdrum and tom-tom sounds has been closely simulated and the hihats and cymbals sound and react very close to the originals. Brief overview produced by Xilinx programmable chips:
- CPLD (complex programmable logic device)
Chips differ the most simple structure and significant limitations in designing devices for them, but they do have one advantage - they do not need a configuration ROM. Limitations include the "greed" on the triggers and lack of flexibility. However, the CPLD are easy to learn and, therefore, are ideal for getting started with FPGAs in general.
- FPGA (field-programmable gate array)
Chip is much more complicated arranged (some even contain several processor cores PowerPC), requires a configuration ROM (this is explained by the fact that the chips themselves are built on technology Static RAM, that is, every time I turn them to "load"), but they are capable of accommodate a much more complex and larger projects than the CPLD and flexible enough for the designer (in particular removed the restriction on the number of triggers).
