Welcome to week Ten.
Please spend some time reflecting on the questions above based on your study of the Compendium and your personal experience.

There are links for two tests based on this week's reading.

Enjoy!

Reflection questions are posted. These are meant to serve as an essential element of this class. Please take the time to reflect on them not only with your mind but your heart and linking them to your life.

Make sure that everything you do is preceded by praying to the Holy Spirit.

There are two tests available for week nine.

Enjoy.

It's hard to make a choice between learning about the Word of God and acting on the Word of God.
Jan.22 is the Prayer Vigil with Bishop Cirilo Flores at the Cathedral commemorating Roe V. Wade. I will miss the lesson 8, but Karl will attend. Please pray for the unborn, their mothers, fathers and those involved in abortion decisions.

I like the informal discussion, as well as the questions and answers, it makes us think a little harder. Writing on the board makes it visual and reinforces it. We also become more engaged and are not just being lectured to.
The powerpoint repeated what we should have read ourselves. It was less 'alive'.Location does not make any difference although the number of people attending might encourage or discourage more intense participation.

Hi Fr. Brendan,

Any one of your teaching methods works very effectively.

The material as you've said is so magnificent and beautiful, there's just a great deal of substance to be savored and relished in such a limited time.

What you've done so far is working and is greatly appreciated.

the short answer is "yes." I like it all....

I like the power point presentation the best, but realize it is a lot of work. It is easier to follow and take notes (especially when you use a word that I am unfamiliar with). I like being able to ask questions regarding the material read and covered in class. The white board is a good alternative but less effective for me.

I like the coziness of the upstairs room, but with too many people it just feels crowded.

I appreciate the effort you have put into the lectures. I have found them informative and inspirational. Thank you.
