This August, Friday The 13th fans are going to be treated to one of the largest franchise conventions ever assembled as Crystal Lake Nightmares presents "45 Years of Friday the 13th"! The enormous event will be held in Burbank, California the weekend of August 8-10, 2025, and promises to showcase one of, if not, the biggest collection of Friday The 13th franchise alumni and guests in history.

The guest list continues to grow, and the past several weeks a large number of alumni have been revealed via the events Instagram Page, and some are extremely rare to meet in person.

Joining the festivities are Sean S. Exciting Friday The 13th Celebration Happening With Rare Alumni Guests In June 2025

Next year the Friday The 13th franchise is celebrating the 45th anniversary of fans experiencing Camp Crystal Lake, and as such, there is going to be a lot of events and news that our readers are sure to be excited about in 2025. One such celebratory event will take place Friday The 13th weekend in June at Days Of The Dead Indianapolis! At this convention fans will have the opportunity to meet some truly rare alumni from some of your favorite films.

Attending this great event in Indianapolis next June are a number of Jason Voorhees actors such as Warrington Gillette, C.J. Graham, Kane Hodder, and Derek Mears. The biggest treat, however, will be interacting with those Jason actors that rarely attend conventions, and we are very excited about the following list.

Ellen Lutter
The first person to portray adult Jason Voorhees on film and also the first and only woman to play the character. She is seen in the opening prologue of Friday The 13th Part 2 walking towards Alice Hardy's house.

Spencer Stump
Portrayed young Jason Voorhees in Freddy vs Jason and this may be his first ever convention. We interviewed him around fifteen years ago and had some great stories to tell about his time working during production of that film.

Caleb Guss
Another actor to portray young Jason on film and this time in Friday The 13th 2009. This might also be his first convention as well so it will be exciting to hear his stories about filming the opening of the film.

This is definitely a show to attend to see our favorite alumni but also take the opportunity to meet actors who never really attend these conventions and get their stories on the productions of the films.

Even Bigger Friday The 13th Part 3 Reunion Happening This July!

Just last week we let our readers know about a big Friday The 13th Part 3 reunion happening this June in Phoenix, but now there is a bigger treat for our readers as an even larger group of alumni from Friday The 13th Part 3 will be appearing in Indianapolis, including Paul Kratka and Larry Zerner! This is also with Mike Deluna who was a stand in for Richard Brooker in a few scenes as Jason Voorhees. We wrote a story about Mike De Luna almost a decade ago involving his role in playing Jason in the film. We were told by someone involved in the production of the film that Mike portrayed Jason during the hanging scene in the barn. About The Film

Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter Star Judie Aronson To Meet Fans With Raft Surprise This February

Actress Judie Aronson has starred in a number of awesome films, including Weird Science, American Ninja, and of course, Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter. Her turn as Samantha in The Final Chapter is memorable as her death scene in the raft on the lake is still talked about among fans, some forty years later. Amanda Righetti was a very strong presence in the latest Friday The 13th film from 2009 as her character Whitney became the central figure in the plot of the film. Her star power was only beginning to grow when the film was released as she was cast in CBS's show The Mentalist before Friday The 13th 2009 released in theaters. She appeared on the show for over five seasons before moving onto other projects and now she is preparing to meet all of the franchise fans in 2023.

The convention season is picking up for 2022 and it will be a very exciting and busy time for alumni and fans of the Friday the 13th film franchise. Last year saw a number of conventions bring fans together with their favorite actors. Well, believe it or not, 2022 will quickly bring new conventions and opportunities for fans to meet their favorite alumni.

One of the more exciting conventions is returning in This February with a few of our favorite Jason Voorhees actors. Days Of The Dead announced recently that Derek Mears (Friday the 13th 2009) and Kane Hodder will be returning to the genre extravaganza. Derek has been hard to meet up with until very recently, so this a great chance to talk with him and get a pic.
