Would you agree with it? Do friends could really change the way we live our lives? Well as of me, I do agree that friends could really change our lives. What makes me think so? Perhaps you would be asking that, but you just can't simply change my thoughts. Let's say friends could make your life better or worse depending on how they treat you or how you handle them and treat them. Perhaps it would be like a boomerang effect, what you do to others will all come back at you.

One reason why I have this in mind is because of the lesson I've learned in the past few years when I have this friend of mine. At first, I never thought we'd became friends since I'm the type of person who usually gets his mouth shut unless one dares to talk with me. Not that I'm not something to be scared of, just that I'm of a quiet person. Then came that friend, talk with and approach me. Til then that day, we became friends, and I've noticed a lot of changes upon me. I became friendly, a bit talkative (LOL) and I've developed a sense of confidence around me. Therefore that's why I could say that friends really could change our lives.

But it also depends upon which type of friend you have. So be careful in choosing one, if you do want your life to be as ideal as mine.

Can We Really Live Without Friends?

<!--

It has been a usual knowledge that friendship is known to greatly enhances one's own sense of happiness and health as well. Though there have been a lot of studies being made that supports the thought that a strong friendship could greatly affect a person's view of life for happiness and his prolonged living. While on the other hand, loneliness and deprivation has been known to cause sickness and could make a person more vulnerable unto sickness and infections as well as death. Even friendship has been called as "behavioral vaccine" by some which could protect one's own physical and mental health as well.

The main reason for this connection between friendship and health is still unknown to everyone. Though there have been lots of potential studies about it, experts still don't know the main reason for this linkage. Well here are some of the presumed connection between friendship and health:

a. A good friend could ensue his friend to live a healthy and positive lifestyle.

b. A good friend persuades his friend to seek for help when in need.

c. A good friend enhances his friend's capability to deal with different types of sickness and illness.

d. A good friend influences physiological patterns that are defensive of his own health.

Well, now I guess we can have an overview about the interconnection on friendship and health as well. Being with friends and hanging along with them, doing things together and laughing along with them could greatly enhance your health and develop a sound mind.

Choosing a Friend

When you want someone to be your friend, perhaps the first to you should do would be knowing him, right? You just won't simply go on having him as a friend unless you know his attitude, his character, his life and anything about him. And these ones are essential for you to get a one good friend. Perhaps looking for a true friend would be somehow difficult to do. Since there have been a lot of pretentious ones around, you should take caution on whom should you pick as one. In choosing a good friend, you must know whether or not this friend has got some good quality in him. A good friend could somehow possess these traits:

Honest and Trustworthy
--Its typically hard to trust these days. And trust is one such thing that builds a friendship. A good friend would be honest and never tell lies on you. Perhaps they may not tell you the truth all the time, but they do try their best to make you feel why they shouldn't.

Thoughtful and Caring
--A good friend would always care for you and be there for you. Although they have their own ways of letting you feel it and you might not notice it at all. No good friend would simply ignore you and go on the world on his own.

Loyal and Supportive
--Loyalty is one such way wherein a good friend shows that he is worth of being keep as a friend. Despite the distance, he would always find ways to talk with you and get in touch with you.Once a friend, always remains a friend.

Learns to Accept you for Who you Are
--Acceptance is something that would be of a major thing in friendship. If a friend accepts you for who and what you are then that would be definitely good. Acceptance simply goes hand in hand with understanding. But at least, try to be worth of accepting.

These are just some of the ways to help you choose the right friend for you. I hope this one helps. Good luck and have a nice day !

The Benefits of Having Friends

As what I've said before, living your life without a friend along is empty. Acquiring one would be the best deal. Having a friend all along with you have a lot of benefits to offer, not only on yourself but also on anyone around you as well. Here are some of them :

Improves Health

Studies show that having a friend could improve your health, our health as well. This might be due to the fact that a friend would always be there to make us smile and make us happy. And in turn, being happy could somehow lightens up ourselves.

Strengthens Character

A friend could help us mold up our own personality and character. Perhaps a simple advice from a friend could mean a lot to us and therefore, it motivates us to do so making us strong. And besides, a friend could serve us an inspiration in life.

Enhances Appearance

Though this might seem unlikely, but believe me this one is true. Know why? Simple. Because as what I've said, a friend would always be there to make us happy. With happiness in your life being brought to you by your friends, you could see your face brighten up, therefore enhancing your appearance.

These are just some of the many things that friends could brought unto us. Perhaps in my next posts to come, I would be saying them. That's all for today and I hope you've enjoyed reading this and hope that you'll learn something from it.

Why Friends are Important in our Lives

A good saying goes "Friendship multiplies the good of life and divide the evil".
Everyone needs a friend, and everyone could be a friend. You might say you don't need one but in fact, you do. You would find it hard walking on the long road of life without having a companion all along with you. Life without a friend is such an empty life. You walk out alone, do things alone, sit alone and anything almost alone. No wants to be alone, who would anyway?

A friend is someone with whom you laugh with, share joyful moments together, tell your problems and someone who would be there for you in times of need. If you don't have one, better look for one or else you'll end up living your life short. Friends have an important role in our life and in our character as well. They help us mold our personality and make us a better person.
