This is a port of an excellent emulator atari800.sf.net that can you can configure via easy menu's to become an Atari 400,800,65XE,130XE,5200. Latest update has full menu access and directory browsing with working dpad, NTSC filters, resizeable screens etc via the menu options in fact there's tons of options all configurable.

atari8001.0.0.4.bar  BB10
atari8001.0.0.6.bar  OS2 Playbook

atari800 rom file(s) these are free to use no copyright assertion.
Without any ROM files you'll see the main screen with a black background and lots of buttons ...

Oops the fire button is mapped to 'a' and the emulator defaults to L-CTRL so first step use menu to fix this:

Menu->Controller Configuration->Define layout of keyboard joystick 1->Trigger < press fire button then RESET button>

Save an updated config file via Menu->Emulator Settings->Save configuration file

Change resolution to something better/different via Menu->Display Settings->Video Mode Settings

FullScreen = yes
FullScreen Resolution <press return> select 800x576 and press return

MENU button this brigs up the powerful menu interface of Atari800

INPUT TOGGLE -will change back and forth between keyboard and 'hotkey' mode.

ESC is the escape key so you can exit menus and sub menus back to the Atari screen

RESET will reset the Atari system

RETURN is the return key for selecting menu items

RUN, OPTION,SELECT,START are the Atari800 standard buttons

Bottom right is the fire button and Bottom left the dpad.

Bugs: dpad sliding finger without lifting doesn't appear to trigger events.
Anyway for now most of these original Playbook BAR files will work with the Z10 and Q10 and at some point I will generate new versions that have high resolution graphics etc.

updated:  4th Feb 2013

Use DPBB installer which works great on the Z10 and Playbook.
I've not checked a secure Z10 yet but it should work given they are signed bar files.

v1.0.0.11

Tap top left corner to iterate through rom files.

\misc\roms\gba\ zipped roms or .gba .bin etc go here
NEW v1.10.3.1 built with PB 2.0.1 NDK tested on BB10, should work on both platforms.

NOTE:

BPS dialogs don't work on BB10 , for now it's back to 'tapping'. Latest version has save/load support buttons, it seems to fail sometimes so it's something that needs to be worked on.
this is with the dynamic 'TV' effects like blur, scanline or interlace.

Archived files not supported yet so use unzipped rom files

It's using the CZ80 and MUSAS 68K Core ( more accurate and newer than the MZ80,Star cores.)

Running 50-60 fps average is about 57 FPS

22Khz audio which is the default and no glitches with FM generation etc.

UAE Amiga Emulator   -  WIP

github.com/trevornunes/uaesdl

Okay got a basic virtual joystick working in SDL library which is needed to make this emulator any kind of use. I need to work on performance as the emulator is sometimes fast and other times slow it varies depending on game/demo. I also cannot get kickstarts 1.3 and greater working for whatever reason. So at the moment it's a reasonable A500 ECS with 68020/68882 and fast ram emulator. There is a mouse and 2 buttons ( not visibly mapped ) working alongside the joystick. Missing a dialog to choose .adf files at the moment it's loading based on settings in the uaecfg file.

Handy - Atari Lynx emulator ( working )

github.com/trevornunes/Handy

This works great with rom cycling I haven't played with it much to be honest and it doesn't have a great game selection but it's another emulator in the bag for Blackberry.

SMS Plus - Sega Master System / Game Gear emulator ( working )

github.com/trevornunes/smsplus

SMS Plus ported and code dumped into github. This is a Sega Master System / GameGear emulator and it works great but currently only loads a fixed path misc/roms/sms/game.sms , I will need to put in a ROM selector at some point. So for now it's just misc/roms/sms/game.sms Alex kid fans rejoice.

Another developer has ported this emulator with dialog support that might be a better choice, it's on crackberry forums in the emulator section.
At some point I will sync up DGEN to the latest source code since it fixes some sprite masking and a number of other changes.

BB10 Phone DGEN bar file: roms go here -> <device_path>/misc/roms/smd/somefile.smd unzipped.

dgen-1_10_3_0.bar

It's based off DGEN 1.30 source code but with this latest version I patched the vdp driver to pull in from latest git repot a sprite masking fix which was causing a couple of games to incorrectly show sprites. So it has a hint of 1.31+ in it.

1. misc/dgen/dgen.cfg parsing now supported. You can download an example file and rename it 'dgen.cfg' dgen.cfg . You should use 'soundsamples 2' and 'soundsegs 16' and it won't be 'choppy' but play around ...

2. The app will now repeatedly look for roms in /misc/roms/smd folder and if found after a few seconds. So if your installing this for the first time, you can leave it running ... Then add an .smd file in the roms/smd folder and it should automatically locate the file and startup ...

3. No ROM selection interface , the older BPS logic doesn't render correctly for some reason.

4. icons now 60% transparent and relocated to fit L series phones.

5. Got rid of the 'turbo' buttons which are blasphemy ...

Port of Unreal-Speccy emulator for the Blackberry Playbook.

http://code.google.com/p/unrealspeccyp/

Playbook ported code is currently stored here ...
https://github.com/trevornunes/speccy

Since this is a computer emulation it's a little different. The top left of the screen opens up a menu and file selector option. From the menu selector you can navigate around your filesystem and load .sna .tzx .zip speccy games. For now you'll have to also select beeper, tape or AY for audio depending on the mode of the emulator so it's a couple of steps to get a game loaded.

Unreal Speccy Portable v1.0.0.2 OS2 signed bar

updates: smoother input handling , less sensitive on menu and games in general.
              create zx dir unders roms and default open to this directory

Status

Currently I have a ROM 'cycler' that can trigger reload of cartridges automatically but ... it crashes when the 2nd load occurs due to malloc,mem corruption. Normally the emulator shuts everything down including SDL but I want to keep graphics up since we are not on a desktop we only need to reset the core emulation. The core itself dynamically allocates various blocks during InitPCE() and then clears them in TrashPCE() however something is going nuts after the second restart cycle. I also changed the graphic mode to 32bit instead of the 8bit SDL mode I think it looks a little better even if arguably it's more CPU expensive.

The porting procedure ...

A little more code tweaking was required than FCEUX but it was mostly done in one night. One thing I did was to generate Linux build since its another Autotools job meaning it's worth generating for a Unix/Linux like target first then import the code. This saves time when you import into Momentics, because the config.h file is pre-generated and if done on Linux is setting POSIX includes and other common defines. It also sets the emulator flags and SDL target so I can get a rough idea which source files matter and which dont. Anyway after compiling and playing around with the emu on Linux I deleted some obviously redundant code e.g. windows, gtk_xxx files then zipped up the source so I now have a unix like mini SDL build that is fairly close to QNX/PB ...

Getting a project like HuGo! into Momentics is a two step procedure:

Step 1) Create an empty tablet project
            gets me bar-descriptor.xml etc

Step 2) Import existing filesystem into the 'src' directory of the new created project
            gets the C code in this case into the project

At this point I could hit compile and watch it explode ... but there's a couple more things to do before we hit compile and work out the issues...

Modify the project settings Build settings to reference libs, headers etc.

We need to set any special compile flags e.g. NEW_GFX_ENGINE, -DSDL etc
We need to set up include directories e.g. {workspace}:/SDL/include etc
We need to add -L library paths to libSDL12.so and libTouchControlOverLay.so
We need to import build settings from FCEUX or some other Tablet project to get Device-Release, Device-Debug etc. Or you can manually add the ARM compiler chain , I just import from a similar project.

Update bar-descriptor.xml with your token, enable file access, add libSDL12.so etc.

disable warnings, yeah I said it ... At this point lets fix up errors first...
set -O2 optimization for a Device-Release build don't need debug at this point.
add __QNXNTO__ flag and __PLAYBOOK__ flags to compile we will use this to isolate incompatible code. I actually only use __QNXNTO__ most of the time since I want all QNX devices to be able to compile this code and not just PB.

Now hit compile and get this thing running on Playbook ...

Bang! Every project starts out this way, the first file dies due to missing headers, wrong types, some windows code getting compiled. So we just solve each little problem one step at a time. Any code that looks like windows gets deleted, if it's loaded with windows hooks just delete the module, ditto for any other platform we don't care about. Hit compile again ...

syntax error before '(' or before a variable it's an unknown type , check the headers

can't find argp.h oops ... I copied this from GNU pages since it's not part of QNX build.

GL code hooks - for now if they are not isolated with preprocessor flags

GTK code littered throughout ... this is where the __PLAYBOOK__ flag comes in handy

Wrapping unsupported code with flags ...

#ifndef __PLAYBOOK__

original code here that was causing a compiler break ...

#endif

#ifndef __PLAYBOOK__

SDL OpenGL code here..

#endif
