Patty Tobin will be back in the sunshine state next week for a Private Trunk Show Event hosted by The Little Club in Gulfstream, Florida. The trunk show will be part of the Club’s annual Ladies Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show, a private members-only event on Friday, March 20th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Patty Tobin jewelry will be featured in the fashion show as well as showcased throughout the afternoon and available for sale to club members.

Guests will have the opportunity to be the very first to shop Patty’s newly unveiled spring collection while enjoying the picturesque grounds of this magnificent golf course and the exceptional full-service amenities of The Little Club. It is sure to be a lovely event!

The event will be hosted by COMO’s co-owners, Monica and Andrea, at their beautiful store located right across the street from Royal Poinciana Plaza along Palm Beach’s prestigious and picturesque Royal Poinciana Way. It’s expected that there will be a big street festival coinciding with the second day of our event on Thursday, 1/23, which promises to be lots of fun. The event goes until eight at night so we at COMO will be staying open until 8:00 pm as well.

Patty will be showcasing a variety of customer favorites including our long layering pearl and gemstone chains and selections from our line of large shell pearls, plus a number of new arrivals like our gemstone cuff bracelets and our large baroque south sea pearls in a new luscious pink. Patty will also be featuring selections from our popular high-end Cubic Zirconia (CZ) collection, including a number of our best-selling earrings and bracelets in silver, gold, and rose gold shades as well as some brand new arrivals that will debut at the show.

If you are in the area or within driving distance nearby, we hope you will make time to stop in during the trunk show and visit with Patty and see her latest jewelry collection. As a refresher for friends who follow our events, this upcoming event will be our third showcase at COMO Home & Design following two successful trunk shows last year.

Every year Patty Tobin jewelry is featured in the fashion show along with a handful of local apparel and accessory retailers who, like Patty, will be set up to showcase and sell their merchandise starting at 10:30 AM. All vendors will be donating a portion of their sales from the event to the Teresian House Foundation in addition to the donations by some for the event’s raffle. 

Patty has been an active supporter of The Teresian House for years and as always will be donating one of her signature pieces of fine jewelry for the occasion. Patty’s donation will be one of several coveted raffle prizes awarded to a few lucky winners who will be walking away with some seriously fine swag!

It’s going to be a fun day of shopping, fashion, and food, and all for a good cause, which is why we encourage everyone to buy a ticket for themselves and one for a friend!

We know going into November everyone’s schedules begin filling up faster than usual and that people have to weigh which events to attend and which to skip, so I want to take just a moment to remind all our friends, particularly those in the greater Albany area, just what it is that the Teresion House Foundation and by extension the Teresion House Center for the Elderly does that is so important.

The Teresian House Foundation is the charitable arm of the Teresian House Center for the Elderly, which is one of the best quality nursing homes anywhere in our area. It’s designed to offer residents exceptional 24-7 care while allowing them to maintain their dignity as well as their privacy. It offers peace of mind to the families who are feeling heartbroken and guilty for not being able to continue to care for their loved one(s) themselves. And all of this, they do with kindness, attention, and the kind of genuine caring that is, quite frankly, sadly lacking in the majority of nursing homes throughout our state (and I suspect around the country as well).

Patty Tobin will be showcasing her new 2019 Fall Collection of semiprecious gemstone and pearl jewelry alongside J. McLaughlin’s new fall clothing line. Patty Tobin and J. McLaughlin have made excellent partners this year because both brands share one main focus: Designing high-quality fashion products that bring current relevance to classic styles for women of discerning taste.

Additionally, 15% of sales will benefit To Life! — an organization that provides support services for breast cancer patients and survivors, their caregivers, family members, and friends.

Later this week Patty Tobin and J. McLaughlin will be partnering together for a special 4-Day Summer Showcase Event at The National Racing Museum & Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, NY. To kick things off, the museum will host a cocktail reception on Thursday evening from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The following day, Friday, August 16th, will be the first full day of the fashion showcase featuring Patty Tobin’s new Fall 2019 Collection of semiprecious gemstone and pearl jewelry and J. McLaughlin’s new fall clothing line.

For more than a century, Saratoga Springs has been home to the famous race tracks of New York State. The emblem of that fame is no doubt the horse races themselves, but equally iconic to “the tracks” is the high-society and high-fashion that floods through its gates every season. Each year during the height of the race track season, people come from all over the country dressed to the nines in the latest fashion attire and accessories to enjoy the box, the bets, and the general splendor of Saratoga in the summertime.

August, in particular, is the height of the season when fashionable jet setters are trackside daily, which is why it’s the perfect time for our Saratoga Springs Style Event. Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the tracks at the nearby National Museum of Racing & Hall of Fame, Patty Tobin and J. Next week’s events will kick-off on Wednesday evening with a private charity event at Schuyler Meadows Country Club to benefit Families In Need Of Assistance. Patty will be the exclusive designer showcased during the evening’s affair and her beautiful jewelry collection will be on display (and for sale) throughout the event.

Next up comes the real fun with a special 3-day trunk show event at J. McLaughlin women’s clothing store in Latham. Our last event there was fantastic and we expect next week to be the same! Everyone is invited to share in the excitement of the store’s big semi-annual SALE AND our 3-day trunk show event. It’ll be the perfect time to shop for awesome deals on clothing and to see what all the ladies in South Florida were raving about as Patty will be showcasing her latest designs for spring and summer as well as many of her longtime customer favorites!

Next will be a “Once In A Lifetime Tour” presented by The Wellington Garden Club on Saturday, April 13th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Deeridge Farms Gardens. Frederick Law Olmstead, the architect of Central Park in New York City, was the visionary behind the gardens and farm that span this 68-acre property. Guests will have the rare opportunity to take in the breathtaking gardens and admire Olmstead’s design inspiration all whilst aboard the mobile guided tours available as part of this special event.

What a delightful sight it will be to see Patty’s beautiful semiprecious gemstone and pearl jewelry designs on display amidst the natural horticultural splendor of Deeridge Farm Gardens! Patty’s jewelry will be available for sale at the event as will a variety of plants, orchids, and trees, and a handful of small crafts created by garden club members. Raffle tickets will also be available for sale with an assortment of coveted prizes up for grabs, including a beautiful piece of Patty Tobin jewelry, so don’t miss that!
