justify;">Dulu umah ibu adalah segalanya bagiku. Setiap hujung bulan aku pasti merindui waktu dan saat ketika aku di ambil oleh atuk untuk ke rumah ibu. Al maklumlah, duduk di asrama dengan pelbagai kerenah manusia, makanan yang ala kadar dan pakaian yang perlu di basuh sendiri amat menyeksakan jiwa aku. Di tambah pula dengan aku yang kurang bergaul dengan orang sekeliling dan banyak menghabiskan masa dengan dunia aku sendiri. Bila tiba minggu untuk pulang ke rumah ibu, aku akan menghentikan proses basuh baju dan hatiku berbunga bahagia mengenangkan tilam dan bantal serta masakan ibu yang amat menyelerakan. Pernah ada ketika, pabila tiba di penghujung tahun di asrama biasanya ada mengadakan jamuan akhir tahun. Kebetulan pada ketika itu, bilik asramaku menyediakan set KFC untuk kami meraikan penghujung tahun akhir. Masih segar di ingatanku, pabila aku mengambil bungkusan KFC itu dan duduk di hujung birai katilku yang kebetulan agak tersorok dari rakan-rakanku yang lain sambil mengalirkan airmata. Aku teringat ibu dan ayah di rumah, apakah yang mereka makan di waktu ini. Terharu dan sayu ketika itu tidak dapat aku gambarkan, hanya Allah yang Maha mengetahui.<br /><br />Kini, setelah aku menjejakkan kaki ke alam pekerjaan. Sudah betah memegang duit sendiri dan membeli apa saja yang aku inginkan, semua perasaan terhadap ibu dan ayah mula menghilang. Aku akui, darah muda dan panas baran menghantui dan banyak keadaan yang menyebabkan aku mudah terasa dan tersinggung. Rumah bagaikan syurga dunia suatu ketika dulu bagaikan sebuah penjara bagiku.Lantas, langkahku atur keluar dari rumah ibu dan membawa diri selama beberapa tahun. Menghilang begitu saja, tanpa khabar berita. Mungkin berkat doa ibu dan ayah, aku tidak terjerumus ke lembah yang hina. Aku keluar dari rumah ibu dan aku berjaya menjadi manusia. Mempunyai kerja yang tetap dan menimba pengalaman untuk sesuap nasi. Aku bangga pada diriku kerana mampu untuk berjaya di menara gading dan berjaya mendapatkan kerja yang halal. Banyak pengalamanku di luar sana yang mengajar aku tentang erti sebuah kehidupan.<br /><br />Kini aku kembali ke rumah ibu dan ayah. Perlahan aku mula merasai kasih sayang yang dulu aku lupakan. Aku dapat melihat mereka gembira walaupun tidak di ucap pada kata. Pabila aku menyuarakan pendapatku untuk pindah kembali ke rumah ibu, ibu lantas membersihkan bilik yang pernah ku tinggalkan selama lebih sepuluh tahun. Keringat ibu yang nyata menyentuh hatiku pabila menyediakan bilikku sungguh sempurna. Sepertimana aku tinggalkan ruang itu dahulu. Ibu alah pada habuk, tetapi kerana aku dia mengagahkan dirinya mengemas bilikku. Ibu dan ayah turut membaiki tandas yang rosak di dalam bilik air aku dan adikku. Hatiku tersentuh. Walau tidak mereka menyatakan dengan kata-kata namun aku tahu mereka masih menyayangiku seperti waktu dulu. Kini, pejabatku terletak tidak jauh dari rumah ibu. Ibu dan ayah sering bertanya jika aku ingin balik dan makan tengahari di rumah. Pabila pagi, ibu masih bangun dan menyediakan sarapan untuk aku dan adik untuk di bawa bekal pergi ke tempat kerja. Seperti dahulu, sewaktu aku kecil..bekal untukku ke sekolah. Sayu hatiku, mengenangkan masa yang aku bazirkan di luar untuk mencari sebuah jawapan kepada persoalan yang aku sendiri tidak pasti.<br /><br />Ibu dan ayah, maafkan anakmu ini kerana banyak telah menyakiti hatimu. Kini aku telah kembali dan inginku membahagiakan diri kalian..selagi nyawa di kandung badan. Terima kasih kerana masih menerima diriku setelah apa yang telah terjadi. Akanku pastikan selepas ini, tiada yang dapat memisahkan aku dan kalian lagi. Cukuplah..beberapa tahun aku mengabaikan tanggungjawab aku sebagai seorang anak..cukuplah bagi diriku..<br /><br />Ya Allah, kau bahagiakanlah kedua ibu bapaku.
