I've done up a mask in the style of Jason Voorhees from the end of Part IV/throughout Part V and I was nice enough to record a video of how I went about doing it. Check it out below!

Hicks vs Battle Damaged Alien Action Figure Showcase

2014-04-14T22:16:00.000-03:00

- ALIEN -

It's been awhile since I've done a showcase and it looks like it's going to take a bit to get back into the swing of things. I haven't stopped buying action figures, but finding the time to take photos is getting difficult. Last night I decided to dedicate an hour or so to some photos and as you can see, the photos aren't anything super special and it fact, I made a mistake with the ISO setting of my camera, and most came out grainy looking. Oh well, I'll keep at it and before you know it, I'll be in full swing. For now though, let's take a look at the Hicks vs Battled Damaged Alien two pack from NECA toys.

NECA Aliens Series 1 Hudson Wallpaper

2014-02-13T10:18:00.000-04:00

While testing my new wide angle lens, I quickly made this wallpaper for anyone that might be interested in a little Hudson action. I know the background isn't Alien themed, but I think the picture came out pretty neat looking. I hope you enjoy!

Michonne Action Figure Wallpaper

2014-01-30T16:29:00.003-04:00

Lately I've been thinking about branching off and instead of doing full fledged showcases/reviews, I would work on doing up some fancy looking photos, that people could download and use as wallpaper. I would still work on doing showcases, but as you probably have noticed, I haven't been doing a boat load of them, as it takes forever to edit all the photos. So you might be seeing more of these wallpaper posts coming up, instead of review showcases, but don't worry, I'll be sure to showcase every figure I do own, it just won't be every day.

For now, enjoy the latest wallpaper I made for the Michonne action figure, from McFarlane Toys.

*Note* If you like, I can provide different sizes to match what you would want. Just leave a comment or send an email. The one below is 1920x1280. ~~To download the image, just right click on the below image and save the image to your computer.~~ Sorry, the previous method doesn't work and is actually giving you a smaller image. Sorry about that. Just click the download button below for the full size image.

Prometheus Series 2: Deacon 7" Action Figure Showcase

2014-01-30T13:47:00.000-04:00

- ALIEN -

Prometheus is a film that pretty much divided a lot of people, especially fans of the Alien series, who were going in expecting a straight prequel. It may not of been the Alien film we wanted, but you certainly can't say it didn't have some interesting creature designs, which brings me to the first xenomorph known as the Deacon, which was released in action form by NECA.

Trick or Treat Studios - 2014's New line of Halloween Masks

2014-01-28T09:47:00.000-04:00

Trick or Treat Studios has just recently announced their new 2014 lineup of Michael Myers/Halloween III masks and boy, am I ever excited. You can pretty much count me in on all of them (shh, don't tell my wife). Also, not only are they selling masks, they are also selling replica pumpkins and coveralls.

First up, you have the Halloween II Clean Version, which is based on the beginning of Halloween II (i.e. the footage from the first Halloween). It's a clever way of giving you a Halloween I mask, without all the legal issues.

Next up you have the Halloween III Trio (Skull, Witch, Pumpkin), ~~complete with Silver Shamrock badge on the back of the masks~~ (Update: Unfortunately, this isn't confirmed) No word yet on if these masks will melt your head and turn it into bugs, snakes and other gross stuff.

The last remaining masks are from Halloween 6, Halloween H20 (not up for pre-order yet) and Halloween: Resurrection (not up for pre-order yet). Although not a favorite among most people, I personally love each one.

This is going to be the year for Michael Myers people and it's all thanks to Trick or Treat Studios.

The Walking Dead Series 4: Riot Gear Zombie

2014-01-21T19:29:00.000-04:00

McFarlane's The Walking Dead - OTHER FIGURES

Up next on the Basement of Tatlock, is the Riot Gear Zombie, from The Walking Dead Series 4. This hideous zombie is based on the designs from The Walking Dead Season 3, where the group enter the prison and fight some zombies (something rare on the show). It's an awesome looking figure and I'm thinking you're going to think the same, once you see the photos, but first some information...

Batman Arkham City Series 4: Batman

- OTHER FIGURES -

It's been so long since I've done a showcase, I almost forget what to do. Thankfully, it's all flooding back with the Batman Arkham City Series 4 Batman. Batman is an awesome character, as is the Arkham City video game and the action figure is no different.

Yes, I'm still alive!

2013-11-12T13:25:00.001-04:00

Just wanted to give a heads up that I'm very much still alive on this website and the tournament will be finished, for all 6 people that are waiting. I'm pretty busy over the next week, so I won't be able to get around to it, so please bare with me folks, it will get done! In the mean time, enjoy this quick photo I took last night, in honor of The Walking Dead being pretty good this season.

The Walking Dead Series 4: The Governor

2013-11-10T20:17:00.000-04:00

- OTHER FIGURES -

The Walking Dead action figures from McFarlane have had an interesting history. The first two waves of figures (Series 1 and 2) were pretty terrible looking, with little articulation and bad sculpts. Thankfully, McFarlane smartened up with Series 3 and started giving us some great looking action figures. The tradition continues with Series 4 and today I'll be showcasing The Governor. Enjoy!
