Our team loves candid seasonal family photos! It’s easy to see why our team had a blast photographing these three energetic and hilarious kiddos as they ran around Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado. Our photo studio is housed in the bustling marketplace, which is also home to a seasonal Christmas Tree pop-up and Camp Christmas! Taking advantage of the seasonal cheer, we styled a photoshoot to help the Maa family capture sweet winter memories.

All laughs and smiles

It wasn’t hard to get these three siblings playing and joking together so we could capture some candid fun.

Candid group photographs and headshots too!

Once we captured a few photos of these siblings being playful together, we moved on to photograph each kiddo individually. We loved that this family brought outfits that looked great together without being too matchy. And the red sport jacket and bowtie-suspenders are ridiculously cute!

Exploring the Christmas Tree Lot

Next, the Maa siblings led us on an adventure through the Stanley Marketplace Christmas tree lot! We love capturing a variety of images for family photoshoots, so the family walks away with a variety of memories and candid moments to treasure.

Candy Cane Cheers!

Our photographer incorporated a few seasonal props into these seasonal family photos, including… CANDY CANES! Especially when we’re working with kids, we love adding in distinctive elements for unexpected photos that convey a sense of place within a season.

Finding bright backgrounds for family portraits

Our team always gets creative to find a wide variety of backdrops within the theme of the photoshoot. Exploring Stanley Marketplace, we found lots of colorful walls and murals to photograph the awesome Maa kids.

Jumping photos for the win

Everyone loves a good jumping photo! We focused on capturing the movement and energy of the Maa siblings as they jumped around and played in our studio.

Seasonal Cheer with Sloane & The Nutcracker!

Ballerina Sloane wanted to show off her dance moves with a classic nutcracker doll. We loved this idea because it incorporated a seasonal prop and created so much movement to capture!

One more outfit change

We had a blast photographing as big brother cracked up laughing and let his sister dance in circles around him! As you can tell, no one had any fun in this family photoshoot.

Bijen and Nick tied the knot at the beautiful JW Marriott in Denver surrounded by their loved ones and their extra cute kid! Bijen looked amazing in her lace dress and her hair and makeup by Jaded Beauty created her polished look.

We love getting playful with these shots! It was so fun to utilize this wall and play with the reflections at the gorgeous JW Marriott! We cannot get over how cute their kiddo is!

Bijen and Nick enjoyed the amazing food and cake provided by the JW Marriott with the family and friends. They danced the night away with the help of Elite Entertainment– but someone stole the show, this cutie right here. Their cake topper was the cutest thing we have ever seen! We love how they incorporated their little one into every part of their wedding. Now that is true love.

Brad and LP are one of the most fun and unique couples that we have had the pleasure of teaming up with! Their love is pure, anyone who is around them for more than a minute can see how true that is. They met playing ultimate frisbee, and their world was never the same! They tied the knot of the perfect fall day at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Denver’s City Park was the perfect backdrop for Brad and LP’s fall wedding. The colors danced in the wind and matched the couple’s fun and cool personalities perfectly! Adventuring around the park with them was so much fun!

We were able to sneak into the dinosaur exhibit to capture these super sweet moments with Brad and LP! How much do you love this?! What a dream!

The Best of the Best

Brad and LP couldn’t have asked for a better group of friends and family to stand beside them on their wedding day. They broke the mold when they put this group together!

You are the Best Thing

Brad and LP said yes to forever surrounded by their amazing groups of family and friends. Their loved ones signed LPs instead of a guest book, enjoyed dinner at tables names after their favorite pop culture references, and dance the night away! Instead of cutting the cake, they cracked a creme brulee instead! Unique, like I said. So much love to this awesome couple!

Kaitlin and Cody thought about every little detail for their big day. From their wands and lightsabers (yes, please!) to the embroidered handkerchief for her dad, every single detail was so thoughtful. We were even able to captured some moments on Kaitlin’s 35mm film camera from her college days. How fun is that?
