A new facebook app/game is featuring some of our music as well as aiding those who seek pleasure from interacting with it with discovering new music. Check it out here.
A brief description:
"Sound City allows players to build up a music library of songs, listen to them freely, and share them with friends within the game. Players also complete music challenges to earn in-game cash to customize their clubs and DJ’s playlist, creating a virtual hangout for their friends. Soon, players will also have the ability to check out the hottest bands from the game and interact with featured artists VIP clubs."

The Metropolis America single "Personal Policy" has been featured in a cycling video called "A Very Dark Place." Judging by the name alone, if you are interested in a leisurely ride, David is not the trainer for you. This is his 7th video, the soundtracks of which "have earned a reputation as the best in the world when it comes to cycling workout videos."

We love to know that people are sweating our music.

Today we release "The Cold Pop Singles Vol. 2". We promised 2 new songs every six months, and we keep our promises. The first of the 2 songs in Vol. 2 "Love You, Love" is this summer's official summer song. The second is another message bearer called "Not For Everyone." These songs also showcase our new guitarist Charlie Ortiz; Welcome him to our family next time you see us live by buying him a shot.

Cheerleaders love us. Another Metropolis America song was played on the CW Network's "Hellcats" this past Tuesday. Our song "In All Honesty, Lovelorn" from the album The Hospital for Regrets and Dreams was featured in the episode entitled "Land of 1,000 Dances" amongst artists such as Roxy Music and M. Ward. Did you make a resolution this year? How do you feel when you succeed at doing and being what you wanted to do and become? I find my life full of happiness when I do things that I am good at (I can totally hear my high school coach in the back of my mind right now yelling, "Play to your strengths, Mora, play to your strengths.") What are your strengths; What are you good at???

This note is born from selfish and unselfish motives. The selfish motive is that I want to ask you to help us out by you doing what you are good at to help promote Metropolis America. The unselfish motive is that if you help us out, you can feel that happiness as you do what you do well. We truly see those that have helped us so far as ones who are part of Metropolis America, part of every success, and part of this bigger and cooler endeavor. You can be a part of this too.

The official video for Personal Policy (our first single from our upcoming maxi-single The Cold Pop Singles - Vol.1) can now be viewed on our website and our youtube channel.
This video is a tribute to the spirit of an iconic early 80's video by Twisted Sister (We're Not Gonna Take It). We were truly inspired by the fun, rebellious nature of the video so we did our best to recreate that spirit for a new generation.
