These are big! My dogs loved them... Whatever the rawhide type product that is "stuffed" in them in more gross smelling than the hoof! They lasted slightly longer than usual due to the extra stuffing and larger hoof. I would pruchase again. If you purchase you may want to consider giving your dog a bath afterwards because they will smell too:)

I have 2 little dogs that go every where with me! So its perfect to keep in my purse or in my car for when I'm on the go. I'll admit I'm kind of anal about what I feed my dogs. I read all ingredients, make sure I know where its made (kind of sad that I don't really even do that for myself) The ingredients certainly aren't compromised, it's certified organic! I tried it myself and its not bad, just a little bland because there's no sugar. AND.. the best part of all is they help feed doggies in shelters! :) Love it!

I bought this as a chew toy. I didn't use the rawhide that came with it. I put a small amount of peanut butter in the groves from time to time, but my dog isn't picky.

That said, this toy didn't last long. It's still in one piece and all, but the ends are a hazard due to the chewing. I expected that. I have an old nylabone that is similar with the end pieces and it was harder and last longer than the material on this particular toy. I kinda wish it was of that quality as this stuff is a little softer. Still, my dog enjoyed it.

I've brushed/sanded the hazardous ends down a bit so that he can safely continue using it. For the price, I got my moneys worth.

(This refers to the medium.) My 35lb pit-mix rips through most materials except the heavy nyla plastic or Kong rubber. But I don't like her always chewing on the harder plastic because she has a chipped tooth. This is the best of both worlds and occupies her for hours. Even if you run out of the jerky discs, you can just put peanut butter in the grooves. I liked this so much I already bought a different style from the same company.

This is probably my miniature schnauzer's favorite toy. He rarely tires of it, and it has held up for almost a year of daily chewing. He gnaws on it even if there are no treat discs on it, though he is more excited about it if he knows I put them on there.

Small pieces of the purple, rubbery part have come off from time to time, but they're small enough and soft enough that it seems pretty harmless.

After skeptically reading the rave reviews of this product, I purchased this out of desperation. My poor 9-yr old dog was suffering from gingivitis. He's a lab, so he'll eat anything and in a HURRY. He couldn't even eat his dinner without encouragement because of his pain. His gumline was bright red and inflamed, not to mention some major halitosis!

In less than a week, I see over 80% improvement using Wysong Dentatreat. The first day I made a paste and applied directly to his teeth. Then each day forward I sprinkled heavily on his kibble (2x a day). Within 3 days the swelling was going down and he was becoming more himself (jumping and running, and generally happy). Today, 5 days later, there are only a couple small red patches and he willingly eats his meals. (side note: it smells like the cheese pouch in Annie's Microwave Mac N Cheese!) A local pet store owner recommended this product for both my dogs. My elderly Shepherd Mix has awful/foul smelling teeth. She was a rescue and never allowed her teeth to be brushed. My younger Labradoodle has white teeth~hates her teeth brushed~but a few of her teeth had some serious tartar, etc.

I've sprinkled Denta Treat on their food twice daily for two months and they LOVE it! The best part is my younger dog's tartar is 90% better and my elderly dog's breath is not as bad~and it has helped her gum disease. :) It's pricey~but lasts long. I've used this product for about six months with my two Rat Terriers. It really does help to reduce the tartar build-up on their teeth. There's an enzyme that helps to break down existing tartar and helps keep it from attaching to their teeth. One suggestion, tho sprinkle the powder on the BOTTOM of the bowl before you add the food. That way they have to lick it off the bowl, which gets better tooth coverage.

I should have named my Yellow Lab Thief because he seeks only to kill and destroy. (Gospel of John 10:10). He ate the outlets off the back of my house. He ate part of my car...You get the idea. The only toys he can play with are the solid Nylabone (no rubber , no matter how hard). He even breaks through bones and figured out how to chew the top off a Kong to get the treat inside. But he loves hidden treats. So I begged Nylabone to make a hollow Nylabone and sure enough they did. My Lab absolutely LOVES it. He carries it around and the only thing that comes close is his Frisbee. Can't recommend this enough. There are plenty of teeth marks on the trunk but it's still great and keeps him busy trying to get treats out of the "log." I even tweeted Nylabone a photo. This is literally just what I asked for? I have purchased many nylabones and have had success with dogs that love to chew toys.

I got a new dog who doesn't like chew toys but does like food, a lot. And at the same time, if he does chew something he could easily destroy it. I thought that if I put peanut butter or something like that in this hollow part of the dura chew he'd enjoy working at getting the food and not destroy the nylabone in the process. In addition it has 'branches' for him to help hold the chew bone in place.

It didn't work out the way I expected. It's too heavy for him to want to carry around and he can't get his tongue very far in the hole so he gets frustrated. I'd almost say it's a little too indestructable. Once he gets the food that is accessable to him out he puts it aside.

It's a good toy for dogs that like nylabones. The hollowed out part didn't work like I thought it would.

We bought this item for our dog (a pit/lab mix) as a christmas gift. Straight out of the box, he loved it. Its been almost a month and the toy is still going strong, which is saying something because our dog really loves to chew. Be warned, though, it does smell strongly of bacon scent so if you are scent sensitive, you might be turned off.

We have two smaller dogs, 13 and 14 pounds. They both loved to chew on these bones. They would chew for hours--until there was nothing left! Then one day one of them got sick. I have two German Shephard Dogs. My 10 month old has had diarreah for no apparent reason for some time (been checkd out by the vet). He was on some awful medication that I had to force down him to stop it, however as soon as he stopped the medication the loose stool came back. I ordered these antlers because the company's website touted that they were able to provide the customer with the best volume and weight per antler versus their competitors. None of their descriptions said anything about these antlers being cut in half wither, but lo and behold, what I received was not what I thought I was ordering.

These antlers were both very light weight and in less than one hour both of my dogs have chewed clean through the exposed marrow. It was apparently tasty for a positive note, seeing as it's gone now. These antlers are both long, but because of their low density and volume, they will be useful for a few days at best.

I am highly bothered that I wasted my amazon gift cards from Christmas on something that's nothing it was supposed to be. Amazon, this needs to be brought to the attention of your pet supplies department, ASAP!

In the picture they make it look as if you are getting a full antler. However, it is cut in half long ways. Exposing the marrow inside which my dog made short work of (15 min). Then within a day or two the antler started splintering into tiny pieces and we had to get rid of it for our dogs safety. I wouldn't recommend this for a serious chewer or for any dog for that matter. Splintered bones are very bad.

I stumbled across these while looking for a solution for the yellow spots on our lawn caused by our dog. She really likes them actually, and the yellow spotting has gone completely! I will warn you they stink! as in smell really strong, we keep them in a ziplock bag in their package, that aside they do exactly as they say, and the dog thinks its getting a treat, making it easier than pills.

I received a Kyjen Tennis Slider to review, and at first I was skeptical. It seemed flimsy and gimmicky. My two dogs changed my mind, and a friend's dog has also tried it and given her approval too! All three dogs thoroughly enjoyed learning to move the individual flaps of the puzzle toy to release one and then both tennis balls, and then moving the center piece to slide up or down, revealing treats! All of the dogs figured the puzzle out within minutes, and each has their own style. My Rott paws it open, bashing it with his giant paws. My Lab nosed it for a while, then picked it up and tossed it. My friend's Terrier mix nosed it open. This is a great way to keep the dogs thinking and to give an outlet for some mental energy. I thought it was flimsy, but so far even with the abuse dished out by close to 200 lbs of dog so far, it only has a few minor scratches, so I would say it is holding up nicely!

The bad: the dogs solve it too quickly, and there is no way to make it harder. Additionally, I am not sure how it will hold up in the long term, but I will let you know!

Our standard poodle figured out this TENNIS SLIDER TOY in 1.5 minutes flat. Entertaining....while it lasted....I liked the idea of the treat pockets. So did the dog. The MYSTERY TREE PUZZLE was not much of a puzzle as they could see the tennis ball. One dog just picked it up and turned it upside down...then retrieved the ball. Oh well.

i have NO idea what they put in this but my little baby girl loves these things. i ran out of the one bag of Zuke's i was using to train her on our walks so i opened up this bag. she just went wild. every five steps or so i would say she was a good dog and she would sit down expecting a treat. i haven't seen her act this way on a walk, ever. i will be buying these again

My 16 years old cat started to have bumps on his left leg. I took him to two different vets and both said the same thing, the only way to know the reason for the bumps was performing a biopsy. My cat is 16 so I refuse to get him through anesthesia and I did decide to do not do it. Nordic Naturals is a great brand of fish oil for humans and pets. I bought this product for my 2 young cats. A lot easier than opening up the gels. Used the enclosed dropper to dispense the correct amount into one of their meals of canned food and they loved it. Will continue to use this for their good health. (approved by their vet)

My cat gets very itchy in the late spring/early summer, and she scratches & licks herself incessantly. All the licking leads to fur balls. This oil seems to help a little bit with the itching, and it also makes it easier for her to get the furballs up. We also give her a version of laxotone. We only give her this oil every other day, and she's very finicky about it, but we found that if we bring her to her bowl first, THEN put the oil in the center of the bowl, she will eat it. She won't eat it from her food bowl unless it's perfectly clean, and she won't eat it if we try to put it in her food.

If you're having trouble getting yours to take it, maybe try giving it separately from food and in a new bowl. I know my cat doesn't like it when we combine scents.

I have searched for a very long time for a good source of Omega 3s for my older cats. This is the only brand that I can consistently put in their food and they will still eat it. I have purchased this several times and will continue to do so.

So far I've found this product to be wonderful. I use it for both my cats and my dog. Even my picky eater cats don't mind when I put this on top of their wet food. I think it has really helped improve the coats of all the animals in my house, and I've also seen it have a positive effect on my two cats that have allergies. Omega 3s have been proven to have beneficial anti-inflammatory properties, and I can confirm that those properties from this fish oil have had positive impacts on all my animals, especially Ollie and Gypsy. Ollie is allergic to a lot of thing, including food allergies, skin and airborne allergies. While we control his food allergies with food, I've found that this fish oil has lessened the amount of skin and airborne allergy flare ups he has. I ran out of this product, and didn't reorder right away, and I could definitely tell a difference. Ollie is sensitive to most fish flavored cat food, even the limited ingredient types, but this fish oil does not cause him to have an allergic reaction, thank goodness.

Gypsy is an older kitty with chronic problems with her mouth. The vet believes she may have stomatitis, and she's had to have quite a few teeth pulled, and sometimes a steroid shot to lower the gum inflammation in her mouth. While this oil doesn't cure her problem, it does prolong the time between her steroid shots, as it seems to naturally lower the amount of inflammation in her mouth.

As for the dog, she eats it no problem, and I believe I've seen a marked improvement in her chronically itchy, dry skin.

In general, you should supplement your pets diet with omega 3s, as it's good for even a average animal's health.

My only critique is I wish they would improve the bottle some how, because when you first start using the bottle it will spill out on the sides some, even if you are just gingerly trying to pull some out with the included dropper. This stuff is really smelly, so I would prefer not to get it on my hands. After a couple doses, this isn't' a problem, so I still recommend this product highly.

Since this was our first attempt at dog grooming, we found the dvd very helpful. The basics were good however a summer cut was not our thing. Not much was shown about the use of clipper combs for longer cuts, we had to take our cockapoos to a former groomer to find out why we were not getting the cut we wanted using the attached combs. The author answered our first e-mail question but our second question was never answered.

I was hoping this would be an informative dvd about how to cut my lively cockapoo a variety of ways, but this dvd was kind of a grim lecture done with a dog that must have been heavily sedated or frozen with fear. The thrill of grooming one's own dog ended up being as exciting as watching the corn grow. The groomer seems to be sincere, but needs somehow to jazz up her presentation, maybe using more than one dog, more action and less talk, a few shots taken outside with examples of different styles, a jazz band...anything to get us out of that bleak room and comatose puppy.

I have a 12 year old Weim who's had arthritis for years (which is in both hips, spine and front legs as well). We added Hip Flex to her regime (supplements, gluc. fish oil, etc) about a year ago on someone's advice, expecting to see no result. Not only does she love the "cherry chews" as we call them, they've actually made an improvement. Her worst hip is less tender and she bears more weight on it now. We won't go without them. I was told to see results in 1 to 1 1/2 weeks, but I think it might have started to help more quickly than that.

I first received this product in a donated gift basket in a silent auction for a dog rescue. I found that my dogs (2) absolutely loved them and I had to track down where to purchase them. (I did find them in the town where I live, but found a better price on Amazon). After reading what was in Hip Flex I knew that this product would be good for my dogs. I am so lucky to have found Dermacept. My little 4 yr old Shitz Shu girl has had seasonal allergies since I got her at 2 yrs old. It got so bad her fur was falling out in patches and you can see the raw skin from all the scratching. Not to mention to see & feel the suffering she was going through. I believe in Holistic medicine for my family and it extends to my fur babies. After searching & finding Dermacept on the net, I followed the dosage recommendations and gave her 1 full tablet for first 5 days and then taper down to 1/2 tablet after that. Her symptoms were so severe that I kept her on full dosage for a month and slowly she got better. If you read the web site, they also tell you that it may take a month or more to see results. Holistic medicine or supplements are not like conventional meds, it is a gradual process because it is basically assisting your body to heal itself. Well, when I noticed that the scratching begin to slowly subside, I was so relieved and I have been using Dermacept ever since. What I have learned since then is that you can technically stop giving the supplement when you no longer see grass growing during the coldest winter months, but you must start giving your pet the supplement at least a month in advance before the anticipation of spring plants growing (I had to learn the hard way). This way it will save your little one a lot of unnecessary suffering. $35.00 for a 3 month supply (more if 1/2 dose) is a bargain especially if you compare it to vet bills and the really bad side effects of steroids. I now give Dermacept year round and will may even give it to my other pets as a maintenance vitamin since it is full of antioxidants.

My dog can become very fussy for periods of time.

I've tried not giving her people foods but occasionally give her eggs, some meat and cheese.She has gotten a little spoiled. She especially loves cheese.

It's important to me to keep her on dry dog food for the health of her teeth.

These meatballs are a good, healthy treat. They must taste delicious.

These are just for when she's being very fussy.

I think the package is cute and probably the reason I found them in the store and anything with the word "Grandma" sounds appealing.

But aside from the package and the name, they really must be good as she loves them.
