Look of the Day: Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Saturday was a busy day. I was invited to view TIBI Fall 2012 collection for MBFW. Can we say SUPER HAPPY?!! I made my way back to New York to meet up with a friend of mine to attend the show together. The week had been nice weather, but this day was freezing! Perfect right? I managed to pull off an outfit while still staying warm.

These two are the new loves in my Life!

My Heels... Asos, and coincidentally the bag is too! The bag was another gift given to all the bloggers at the conference. Hot Pink and Neon Green....Love the combination!

In my gift bag given to me at the IFB Conference,I found a beautiful necklace! This piece is so classy, and bold! You could dress it up or down, you cant go wrong with this necklace.

I decided to wear mine with a collard shirt and crew neck sweater. Laying the necklace over the sweater, giving the necklace the spotlight!

I rocked it with another outfit, something simple for a regular day.

Independent Fashion Blogger's Conference!

Wednesday February 8th, I hopped out of a cab to see a line full of Stylish people. I just knew I was in the right place! IFB Conference!

Everyone's style was so diverse, it was such a refreshing feeling to be among peers with the same dreams such as your own.

It was a packed house! Panelist discussed topics that Fashion Bloggers really could relate to, as well as a few things that we could learn. All of the panelist are Bloggers, who started out blogging part time, but worked hard on making their blogs very successful. I took tons of notes!

J Brand had their latest collection set up, so that bloggers could (well of course see it) but also try a few of their pieces on, and take photos in!

Fashion Blogger Andy Torres of Stylescrapbook and I! I cant tell you how excited I was to meet her. I admire her, and her blog so much! She was so cool, and such a sweetheart!

My friend and I Danielle of Lizzy Kay Lew! We took a moment to go to the photo station provided by DESIGN WITHIN REACH. Their furniture is so chic!

Look of The Day: Headed to New York!

Off to NY for an exciting day! The time has come again, where fashionable bloggers meet, network, and build new relationships. YES IFB Conference is here! This will be my first time attending and you can imagine how super excited and anxious I am!

I wanted to stray away from the dark colors that Winter usually represents so I went with the brightest yellow dress I could find! I paired it with a deep royal blue just to throw the outfit off a little. And whats winter without a faux fur coat?!

I snapped a couple of photos of my outfit. I have WAY more photos from the IFB Conference! Running around in New York for NYFW is keeping me quite busy! I'll have a post up for my luvs very soon!

iPad Fun! : Super Bowl Sunday!

Hello my Fashionista's and Fashionisto's! I'm pretty sure you all know about The Super Bowl, That's held over here in the United States of America. Two of the greatest teams fight it out to win the big championship. What does this have to do with fashion? Nothing, BUT of course I had to add some type of style to this sport. So I Threw an outfit together to go watch the game.

The outfit didn't consist of much, Over-sized sweater, jeans, and a pair of killer heels! Also a few of my favorite accessories! A little accessories can take an outfit a long way!

Its Spring so bring on the COLORS! (Well its Spring and Summer in the fashion world lol)

iPad Fun! : Behind the Scenes of R. Champagne Bow Tie Collection Shoot!

I collabed with Reginald Champagne of R. Champagne. My first Male Photo Shoot! I was so excited, I decided to dress up like the fellas! I was given my very own bowtie!

The shoot took place in Brooklyn New York. Now usually I love trips to the big city, but this day...it decided to snow!

Being as though we had an early bus trip, traffic was insane, and most of the highway had yet to be plowed, awesome right? Long story short we made it to NY and created magic on set!

We wanted to do a Monochromatic Shoot, which means the shoot would be in Black and White, and Shades of Grey. We shot with Photographer Anthony Leslie of Equator Productions.

Super Proud to say that I styled every fella in the room, well minus the Photographer (LOL)

A few things I'll be needing!

As I was packing for a Collab that I'm working on with Fellow Fashion Blogger Leslie Eugene from Pretty Haute. I decided to take a few pictures of some of the items going into my suitcase. Now I cant share all of the goodies, but its going to be amazing!

I started with the Tops first, I haven't even begun to pack, bottoms, shoes, or accessories (lol) I'm going to be using tons of pieces for this collab!

Lael has had years of experience in the Fashion Industry. She began with modeling, then opening her own boutique, where she also became a Wardrobe Stylist.

Rebecca Pollard of Can Ya Heel Me? and Tweety Elitou of Young Hip & Chic held their first Walk the Talk Shoe, and Accessory event! The event took place on December 10th, at Showroom 77 located on Kater Street in Philadelphia PA!

The event brought out tons of Bloggers, Shoe lovers, Accessory Obssesors, and ALL FASHIONISTA'S AND FASHIONISTO'S!

The first couple of people who arrived at the event were given a free pair of shoes, yes FREE!! Me being the shoe lover that I am, I made sure I arrived on time and as promised was given a free and again I say FREE pair of shoes! I'll be wearing them soon :-)

The event included tons of giveaways! From jewelry, to sunglasses, and a year supply of shoes! All of their giveaways were awesome. Tweety had a few people that she wanted to give recognition to for contributing to the youth in the fashion industry.

It was a great event! So happy I could attend!
