Crime surge hits Western Cape

Yesterday I posted on twitter that a crime surge has hit the Western Cape and I quickly got a lot of replies saying that the one incident i posted about is not a crime surge, how can one incident be a crime surge. Well twitter is a bit limiting when it comes to explaining things. 140 characters to be exact.

The ANC lost the provincial election in the western cape, then the promised a "flood of black people". From their own words that is really what they promised. They also promised to make the Western Cape ungovernable.

ANC wants to remove provinces

The ANC wants to remove provinces in a new suggestion from Co-operative Governance Minister Sicelo Shiceka. The ANC claims that this will speed up service delivery and services.

This is just another "service delivery" promise with a hidden agenda from the ANC. That is to take away power from the democratically elected DA in the western cape. This sounds like a bear with a sore thumb to me. Bad losers.

Crime and the soccer world cup

Local Organising Committee Chief Executive Officer, Danny Jordaan said the media must stop sensationalising the issue of theft and security during the FIFA Confederations Cup.

Sure it's easy to tell the media to stop reporting on crime but to stop the actual crime is another story. It's easy to tell media to stop reporting on what's actually happening and focus on a stupid ball game that most South Africans dont really feel a part of.

Inside a chemtrail airplane

I've actually wondered about how the inside of a airplane looks that shoots out chemical poison called chemtrails. Do they carry humans as well? Lol, anyway interesting video showing the various chemtrails and things they use to shoot it.

Cape Town harbour hit by a big wave

As I mentioned earlier we went to Cape Town today. We drove to check if there were some waves at the harbour and saw a few cargo ships having a hard time getting through the waves but this particular wave was massive. I took a couple of photos but thought this was the best one.

You cant really see the size of this because there's nothing to compare and see the scale but a person would probably not be much higher than those boulders to the left.

Cape Town soccer stadium progress - Photo

We took a drive today pass Cape Town and got a snapshot of the stadium. It seems almost complete but there was no one there. I think it's because of the storms that they cant work, the wind on the ground felt like 80km/h so i can imagine how it must be working up there.

The stadium might not look that big from here but you can see it from the waterfront, even until the environmental affairs at the end of the harbour.

Cape Town storms hit Western Cape

This year's storm season seems a bit bigger than the last one although the big floods have not started yet. The wind is much worse this year. Last year when the beaches flooded and the Cape Town storms caused havoc it was the 31st of August. This year they seem a bit early as well.

Anyway the storms and floods are here and I have the photos. They should be up by tomorrow.

Only at the iStore

Apparently when your iMac's mouse breaks the only place that has a new one is at the iStore in Cape Town.
