Teen Model Hailey Clauson's $28 Million Lawsuit Dismissed Against Jason Lee Parry

American teen model Hailey Clauson made headlines when her parents decided to take legal action against photographer Jason Lee Parry and Urban Outfitters. Clauson's parents were angered over the use of a photo they deemed to be "sexually suggestive" which ended up on a t-shirt sold in Urban Outfitters. The photo showed Clauson sitting backwards on a motorbike with her legs open. The lawsuit filed read:

"She is posed in a blatantly salacious manner with her legs spread, without a bra, revealing portions of her breasts. The image of Teen in a spread eagle position making her crotch area the focal point of the image may portray a child in a sexually suggestive manner and may be in violation of one or more federal and/or state laws."

Jason Lee Parry has now been dismissed by a NYC judge, who ruled that “he did not conduct business in New York, he did not commit a [harmful] act in New York, or commit a [harmful] act outside of New York which caused injury in New York”.

However, Urban Outfitters and the t-shirt manufacturer responsible for the t-shirt, Blood Is the New Black, remain as defendants in the case.

Speaking on the case, Jason Lee Parry's representative commented that Clauson's parents are using the case to make money and further their daughter's career:

"This is not only a big win for Jason Lee Parry but for freedom of expression and image making for all photographers worldwide. In a case that was based upon illegitimate facts from the teen model’s lawyers and parents and a scheme to not only make money and promote their daughters career but also to defame an innocent and rising up and coming photographer in Jason Lee Parry in the process."

BCBG Max Azria has been inspired by slouchy seventies inspired fits for this dress-focused collection that utilitized color blocking, mixing it with retro prints and luxurious accessories. Karlie Kloss is Skipping NYFW for Game Changing Career Move

American model Karlie Kloss has decided to skip New York Fashion Week, instead pursuing an opportunity she couldn't say no to. Karlie's spokesperson confirmed that the model wouldn't be hitting the runway because something big has come her way - she'll even miss the Oscar de la Renta show despite being the current face of the label. Karlie has tweeted that whatever she missed NYFW for was something huge:

Later she also commented that she was sad to be missing the shows:

No one is more bummed than me to be missing out on all of the #NYFW fun – sending all my love to NYC! xx

Rumors are now swirling that Karlie could be up for a film role, or is planning a completely new career - perhaps she's about to be named as the newest Victoria's Secret Angel? That would definitely be big news - she recently walked at the lingerie's annual show for the first time in December.
