In this post i will try to explain What is an eSIM and how it works, so if you want to know about eSIM you can read in this artical it totally about eSIM and it’s functionality. In recent 2017 Google and Apple brought the eSIM into the spotlight by including it within their latest product launches.

The eSIM gives us an improved and more secure customer experience, better designed devices, opens up new market opportunities for operators and enables entire new categories of connected devices. Let’s explore it in a little more detail.

Please bear with us for the next few paragraphs, as we look back in time.

SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) cards store network-specific information used to authenticate and identify subscribers on a cellular network and for the last 30 years have consisted of a physical card containing the chip which has to be inserted into the phone.

You may know or not, but in 1991, the SIM card that you inserted into your phone was the equal in size of a credit card! In the intervening years the size of the humble SIM card has dramatically reduced.

SIM Card sizes from last 29 years

Mobile phone manufacturers continuously strive to make smaller, slimmer and lighter devices with more features, space is at an absolute premium. Even the humble headphone jack is starting to disappear to save precious millimeters, though the cynics among us may say that is to up-sell wireless headphones.

Surely the Nano-SIM, which at 12.30 mm in length and 8.80 mm wide is small enough? Yet, as an industrial designer, you have to remember that it’s not only the size of the SIM card itself but also the space taken up by the associated internal hardware (SIM Card Socket) and circuitry that needs to be accommodated. From many years, manufactures have had to design and accommodate the physical SIM card via SIM card trays or other internal slots. In the quest for more durable and waterproof phones, the more ingress points that can be removed the better.

More important, if you want to change network operator either after your contract has ended or you are traveling on holidays, you have to go and avail a new SIM Card. In certain parts of the world, that’s easier said than done.

It’s all changing though. In the last few years Apple introduced the Apple SIM for use in iPad and as we led with, Google and Apple has included an eSIM as part of its new product launches.

What is the eSIM?

The eSIM/Embedded SIM, or as it’s more formally known, embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC), is smaller again at 6 mm in length and 5 mm in width and is soldered onto a device motherboard at the point of manufacturing while having the same functionality as a removable SIM. It has M2M (Machine to Machine) and Remote Provisioning capabilities. Now a GSMA standard, it wont be long before we see the eSIM become standard in other top tier handsets from Apple and Samsung, quickly followed by the others.

Remote Provisioning capabilities within the eSIM standard provide us with an enhanced customer experience of phone management and activation. From phone settings we can select operator and plan we want and that’s it.

An additional consumer benefit that we’ve heard discussed is that the eSIM should ensure future devices are cheaper to manufacture. Passing the cost saving to consumers, of course is a whole different story and it may not happen at all.

Devices that can operate independently of a tethered smartphone, with their own subscriptions;
A range of new, enhanced mobile-connected devices.

The future of eSIM

The eSIM is the future but it will not happen overnight, look at your phone now it’s still got a physical SIM Card, and will still need one when you pass it to your kids, other family members or sell it. Google used eSIM In the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL only used for Google Project Fi and thus it has a physical Nano-SIM card tray for all the other operators currently.What is certain though, given the time it will take manufacturers to include eSIM’s as standard, operator adoption and the life-cycle of current devices, it wont take another 29 years before we’ll see the physical SIM card consigned to history once and for all.

I recommend all of you friends be very careful and don’t used your gmail id in any phone that you not own or is not in your own use. don’t use your sim card in any phone that is not your own. don’t allow unknown person to make phone call to anyone.

Reason: i think you may already know why this is harmful for us. if you don’t know just read carefully. this is not a Pakistan,s problem this is applied all over the world. in Pakistan PTA have some rules for cell users and network providers we must follow the rules.

For users: PTA have there own help line (0800-25625) for user to block there stolen cellphones, PTA collect record of the cellphone and send it to network provider to block their service for the stolen IMEI.

We can also track reported stolen, approved by PTA and non-compliant IMEIs on PTA web site. You can read more in PTA device verification system article about compliant, non-compliant or PTA approved devices.

For Network providers: The Secret agency’s can force the network provider to give them cellphones record. like phone calls data, SMS data, cellphones information IMEI etc. the government given these facilities also to some selected persons. they can track any cellphone that being used in Pakistan.

My Phone Can Receive Calls But Nothing on Screen

My Phone works but screen is black, this may be your question also that i will try to answer in this post. so if you have blank / black screen problem in your Smartphone or you are working as a Smartphone technician, this post may help you to understand and fix black screen problem.

Why some phone shows black screen?

If a Smartphone stuck on black screen (Nothing on screen but phone is able to receive calls and messages) Blank / Black screen fault in a Smartphone can be appear due to many reasons but some of them will be describe below.

System failure (System problems / errors that affect the display of your phone).
Disconnection between board and display.
Damaged display unit / Screen.

I will try to write some details about these three reasons one by one, you should read all or any of them which you think most relevant to your problem. but if you are cellphone technician then i will suggest you to read all post because, different type of reasons we facing on different phones.

1- Black screen fault due to system failure:

Black Screen Fault on a Smartphone Due to System Failure: If the phone works just like usual. It still can receive calls, messages, chats or any notifications, but the screen is black / blank maybe that’s caused by some system problems / errors that affect the display of your phone.

We noticed in some phones with black / blank screen faults, sometime if any system or installed application goes crashed due incompatibility or any other reason then it can be a cause of black screen fault on a Smartphone.

Fix blank / black screen problem due to system failure?

Here are some solutions that might help based on my experiences: Remove protector and check the screen is it normal or broken. if screen is broken then it should be replaced with working display unit to fix black screen fault, if it looks normal then follow the steps below to fix blank / black screen fault on your phone.

1. If you have a phone with remove able battery, remove battery from your phone and wait 15-20 seconds, then insert battery into phone and try to power on.

2. If you have a phone with non-remove able battery, you will need to reset power of your smartphone using buttons combination. some devices come with a little hidden reset button that can be pressed using a needle, but most of devices with non-remove able battery can be power reset using button combinations, you can see different methods for different brands below.

Samsung:

If you have a Samsung phone you may need to press and hold [VOL-] + [Home] + [Power Button] at same time for 15-20 seconds.

Samsung Galaxy S8 / S9/ Note 8 Force Restart

In new Samsung devices like Samsung S8, S9, Note8, Note9 you need to press and hold [VOL-] + [Bixbay Button] + [Power Button] at same time for 15-20 seconds to fource reboot your Samsung.

Force Restart iPhone 6 / 6 Plus

If you have Apple iPhone 6s or lower model then you can reset power of your iPhone by holding down Home button and Power button for 10 – 20 seconds it will reset power (Just like we remove battery and insert into phone again) of your iPhone. Visit this post for helpful photos.

Force Restart iPhone 7 / 7 Plus

To force restart your iPhone 7 / 7 Plus you need to hold Volume down and Side Switch (Power button) until apple logo appears on screen.

Force Restart iPhone X / XS

If you have iPhone 8 / 8 Plus / X / XS / X Max and you want to force restart you iPhone you will need to Press and release VOL + then Press and Release VOL – Then Press and hold Side button until you see apple logo appears on screen.

If you still unable to reboot phone then you can wait until your phone batteries are dead, then recharge and restart the phone.

3. Black or Blank screen can be fixed also by installing fresh OS, you can see more posts related to flashing firmware here. it tested on some chines phones like QMobile, Huawei, Oppo, Micromax etc, but you should always make an OS and userdata backup before starting.

Note: If above solution don’t work for you please go to service center to fix the problem. If you continue we assume that you are a cellphone technician or you have computer and electronics experience, then continue at your own risk.

2- Black screen problem due to disconnection

Black screen problem due to disconnection board and display unit / screen can be found when display unit and board connection lost due some reasons like dust in connector, open connector due to falling down and due to damaged connectors on board or lcd flex. because most of Smartphone comes with fix battery and hard to open, you should check and understand what you are going to do before opening phone.

How to fix black screen problem due to disconnection?

To fix black screen fault due to disconnection in display connectors we need to open phone, so be very careful because smartphone disassembly in little bit risky and tough. always disconnect battery first after opening your phone, then start your work.

Open your phone and check LCD connector it may be dusty or opened, clean dusty LCD connector using CTC, MBC or whatever you are using to clean smartphone boards. I suggest you to use Falcon 530 motherboard cleaning spray.

Check all points of both connector using magnifying glass and resolder if you see any open point due to any reason. then reassemble your cellphone, it may be ok now.

3- Black screen due to damaged display unit

This part is not very simple as we think, i used damaged display unit term that can cover all problems from display unit / LCD. I will try to write some conditions hat can cause of black screen problem on a smartphone.

1. Broken display unit, that is very simple to understand if LCD unit is broken from front but sometimes display units break glass from back corner that not visible from front investigate the display unit carefully, remove protector from screen if you feel any difficulty, if found any breakage then replace it with new one.

2. Liquid damaged display unit, this is little bit hard to understand when liquid gone dry, but if you have experience before then you will easily understand liquid damaged display. You can try to clean and dry if it works then good if not then tou need to replace display unit to confirm.

In this tutorial i am going to share Bootloader unlock method for LG, If you are looking for bootloader unlock on LG you should follow this tutorial to learn about it.

What is Unlock Bootloader ?

A Bootloader is a code which runs when we turn on our device. This code initializes some hardware and then loads the kernel and ramdisk, and gets the boot process going. So this process is known as Bootloader. The same concept applies to all the technology stuff such as Laptop, PC, Smartphones and any such device. Every Android OEM manufacturers lock the bootloader even though it is an Open Source. So if you want to try custom ROM on your device, it is not possible to load the custom ROM without Unlocking Bootloader. So Manufacturer made a policy of making the smartphone with Unlocked Bootloader will void the warranty. They want you to stick with the Stock ROM. Unlock Bootloader allows you to Root your android smartphone, Flash TWRP and Custom ROM.

PRE-REQUISITE TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER ON LG V10

Charge your phone battery up to 80%

STEPS TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER ON LG V10

Enable Developer Option to Enable Developer Options, Go to your Settings -> About Phone -> Now Tap on Build Number 7 Times until you see a message “Developer option enabled“
Now you need to enable the OEM Unlock by going to Settings -> Developer Option and Enable OEM Unlock
Extract Minimal ADB package on your computer
Turn your phone off and Boot your phone into Bootloader by pressing Volume Up + Power Button Simultaneously until you see a fastboot/bootloader
Go to the folder where you have extracted the ADB Minimal Package
Plug the phone into your PC, then open a command prompt window by pressing Shift Key + Right Mouse Click on empty area of Minimal ADB folder.
Now type the command in your command window

fastboot devices
```
This command will list the connected devices. If your phone’s serial number shows up you are good to go and may continue. If the phone is NOT listed this indicates that your drivers are not installed correctly. In order for you to continue you must fix your drivers so that your phone is listed under fastboot devices.
If you are on Windows 10 then you might get error ” command not recognized ” as screenshot below. Then you first need to type cmd and hit enter to enter in to CMD.
If your phone has been recognized by the command above, proceed to unlock bootloader with the following command: Remember that this step will wipe EVERYTHING off your phone

Motorola Z3 FRP Bypass:

I am going to write how we can bypass verify your account screen without having previous Google account. Motorola Z3 frp bypass is not a simple work but if you have some previous knowledge or you are a advance user of smartphone you can bypass frp on Moto Z3 Play by following this tutorial. This tutorial should also work on other similar Motorola and Android devices.

Warning: Do all at your own risk, frp fix will not responsible for any data loss which you already have lost that's why your cellphone is stuck at verify your account screen. Let's get started.

7. Double Tap on Text to speech setting to enter into it

8. Turn off Talkback by hold volume buttons together until new menu not open, then release buttons and select use shortcut option.

9. Again hold volume buttons until you do not hear or see on screen information that Talkback is turned off.

10. Tap settings button to open options menu

11. Scroll down and select Feedback option

12. Type youtube.com, choose this word and you will see on it youtube icon press it.

13. Select account icon > Settings > About

14. Choose Google Privacy Policy > ACCEPT & CONTINUE > NO THANKS for Chrome browser.

15. Search frpfix in Google then search "Motorola Z3 FRP Bypass" post in frpfix

16. Download FRP_bypass_v8.0_86EV8Z0.apk

17. Allow Chrome to access storage and continue download FRP_bypass_v8.0_86EV8Z0.apk

18. After downloading completed, you will have Open button.

19. Tap Open button allow install from unknown source.

20. After installation completed you will have open batton Tap to Open.

21. Tap the button to open and then Tap on Google account manage apk install button in frp bypass app.

22. You are now at choose android version screen now select for version 6.0

23. Allow install app from unknown source as before and install Google account manage for version 6.0 and Tap on Done! button.

24. Now Tap on Bypass frp button and click on browser sign in option.

25. Tap more menu button and then choose option "Browser sign-in", confirm the selection by press OK button.

26. Add new Google account that you have recently made or which you can sign in easily.

27. Restart your Motorola Phone.

28. Follow on screen instructions to active phone you don't need to add Google account anymore because you have already signed in with a new Google account.

29. To remove frp from motorola do a factory reset from setting after turn on OEM Unlock option.

6- Go to google.com and search for ” Android 9 FRP Bypass frpfix ” or directly enter "https://frpfix.blogspot.com/" into your browser address bar and hit Go! to access this post that is being read by you this time.

7- Download this Tool > ALBVIRAL FRP TOOL

9. After you click on the link above something will download (Allow permissions if it asks for).

10. Install and open Albviral FRP Tool Application!

11. Tap : GOOGLE ACCOUNT MANAGER APK INSTALL > For version 5.0
12. After installing Google Account manager from step 11 hit done. Then click Done.

13. On Albviral Tool, Click on BYPASS FRP > BROWSER SIGN IN

14. You will be redirected in a page saying retype password.

IMPORTANT : Click on 3 dots right upper corner and go browser sign in, ok.
15. Sign in with any active Gmail Account.

16. Finally, go back, all away back to welcome screen and setup phone normally like a new phone.
It will not ask you for Google Account, it will let you configure the phone like a new phone!

Sometimes we may unable to install Android apps via normal ways like Google Play or manually from internal storage. in this case i have Samsung S7 edge running Samsung factory binary and i need to install Root Explorer on it that is not possible via google play or via internal storage. so in this post i am going to write a tutorial on how to install Apps on Samsung running combination firmware.

If you also have apps installation problem on your phone being a user or being a mobile phone technician, i recommend you to read this post and watch video tutorial on apps installation using adb commands.

How to install Android Apps using adb command:

You must have minimal adb package and adb drivers for your phone on your computer and usb debugging enabled to install android applications on your android device. to enable usb debugging on your android device follow the instructions below.

Go to About > Software information > Tap on Build number 7 time > go back and enter into Developer options > Enable developer options if you have on off toggle button > Turn on usb debugging in developer options.

Connect your Android phone to computer via usb cable.
Accept usb debugging connection prompt on phone screen.
Go to Minimal adb installation folder.
Press and hold Shift key on keyboard.
Right click on empty space in adb installation folder anywhere.
Click on "Open PowerShell window here'.
Type "cmd" in command prompt window.
Type adb install [App name including .apk] e.g adb install facebook.apk and hit Enter.
App will be installed in few seconds or minutes.
You will get Success message and done!

Sometimes we use combination firmware on Samsung phones to fix problems related to security, in this post i am going to write about root method for Samsung phone after installing combination, specially Samsung S7 Edge U3 root on combination that was required by me during work.

What is root and why we root Android phone?

Before start the process you must know about root, if you already know what you are going to do? you can skip this phrase. But if you have any doubt then continue reading. Root is actually a Super user with all permissions on a Linux OS that are not allowed for normal users. Your Android phone uses Linux permissions and file-system ownership. You are a user when you sign in, and you are allowed to do certain things based on your user permissions. But with a Superuser permissions we even modify Android file system and it’s secure files like EFS, NVM read write that are not possible with normal user permissions.

How to root Samsung on combination firmware?

Samsung using combination firmware on their service centers to make different tests and fixes on Samsung phones because this firmware is specially being released for this purposes, with factory binay (combination firmware) it’s we also can do some jobs because of its security is less then normal firmware.

To root your Samsung S7 Edge on B3 or B4 you first need to install combination firmware then download Kingo root for Windows and install on your computer. Connect your Samsung S7 Edge to your computer / laptop using Micro USb cable. normally you don’t need to turn on usb debugging option from developer options, but if you want to confirm then go to

About Phone > Software information > Tap on Build number 7 times to enable developer options. go back and enter into developer options and check usb debugging.

Open Kingo Root on your computer
Connect your S7 Edge to pc via usb cable
Accept prompt on mobile phone screen
Press Root button on Knogo Root and wait to complete the process
You will have Rood Success message on Kingo Root

7- Download this Tool > ALBVIRAL FRP TOOL

8- Install and open ALBVIRAL FRP TOOL and tap on : GOOGLE ACCOUNT MANAGER APK INSTALL > For version 5.0

9- After installing Google Account manager hit done.

4. Choose Google Voice Typing.

5. Click on Search icon on upper right corner, search for Offline search and open Manage Offline Searches!

6. Click on Search icon on bottom and search for Chrome and open the one that shows on bottom with chrome icon.

7- Download this Tool > ALBVIRAL FRP TOOL

9. After you click on the link above something will download (Allow permissions if it asks for).

10. Install and open Albviral FRP Tool Application!

Sony Xperia 8.0 FRP bypass Latest Method 2019: This post is about Sony Xperia factory reset protection, If your Sony Xperia stuck on verify your account screen, then don't go anywhere. Bypass FRP on Sony latest security is not an easy job however i will try to make it easy for understand all readers with less knowledge or no experience before. In some cases this guide may not work because of Security patch level changed by manufacturer. Then you can use Search and try other combination.

How to Bypass FRP on Sony Xperia 8.0?

Due to 8.0 and 8.1 is current version mostly devices so i will use 8.0 but don't worry this method will also work on Sony 7.0 and 7.1 devices. All required app can be found below. This method requires a PC or Laptop, You can try Sony Xperia FRP bypass without PC.

Getting Access to Chrome Browser on Sony 8.0 Locked by FRP

1- Connect your device WiFi.

2- Go back to “Welcome” screen

How to check installed Android version on Samsung?

You check your Android device version by entering in your device recovery. for example you have Samsung Galaxy Note 9 then you can reboot it to recovery mode by following steps below. We mostly using for hard reset on Samsung smartphones.

Turn off your phone
Press and hold Volume Up + Bixby + Power buttons together for few seconds.

Requirements to bypass FRP on Samsung 8.x:

Spare Android Phone with installed HushSMS Application.
Two working SIM cards.
WiFi internet

Samsung Android 8.1 FRP Bypass:

Install HushSMS.apk on spare android phone.
Insert working SIM Cards in both phones.
Connect both phone to WiFi internet.
Open HushSMS on spare phone.
Click on WAP Push SL button.
Select use http:// URL prefix radio button.
In enter recipient phone number
Enter phone that you already have SIM card in Samsung phone.
Enter phone number in international format Example (+923001234567)
Enter (https://www.youtube.com/pakfones) in message.
Click "SEND WAP PUSH SL"
You will have message sent on you spare android phone. now just leave this phone.
At you Samsung phone you will see my YouTube channel link is opened in YouTube app.
Click on not now.
Click on three dots (Options Menu) on top right corner.
Click on Terms & Privacy Policy
Select Samsung Internet as browser.
Visit frpfix.blogspot.com
Click on FRP APPS in categories or simply open this post in your phone to simplify.
Now scroll up and search for Google Account Manager 8.0 post or download from below links.
Install Google account manager 8.0
Go back and download frp bypass apk from required apps below.
Install and open frp bypass application
Click on three dots (Options) in right corner and sign in to your own google account.
Now go back and install Nova Launcher application (you can download from links below)
Install Nova Launcher as you installed apps before.
Open nova and you will be in home screen now!
Now go to Settings > Device Administrators and deactivate it.
Now go back to APPS > Options > Show System Apps > Google Account Manager > Storage > Clear Data.
Clear application data and then Disable it.
Now go back and search Google Play Services Clear Data and Disable it.
Now go back and open Samsung Internet app
Download FRP_addROM.apk then install and open.
Then go back and the go to Cloud and Accounts and sign in to your google account.
It will automatically enable google account manager application.
The go back to apps and enable Google Play Services.
Then restart your phone
And activate by following instructions on screen. It will not ask for google account now because you have already signed in to google account.

How to do a factory reset after activation Samsung phone after bypass frp?

Go to Settings
About device
Software info
Click on Build Number 7 times.
Go back to developer options.
and turn on OEM Unlock.
The go back to General Management
Then Factory Data Reset
The Delete All and confirm.
It will take a while to reset your phone.
Then activate your phone as per instructions on screen.
