Faux Fur Fantasies......

Being a South Florida girl where the winters range around 80 degrees on a bad day you always have that fantasy of being in a cold climate and rocking something you wouldn't normally wear like a Beautiful Faux Fur Coat, Snow Boots, or a Fur Hat, but when I Spent my Weekend in Atlanta for the coming of Jalen King Meyers, that's exactly what happened, try to keep up! It was at the H&M inside the Cumberland Mall that I first laid eyes on her and I was in pure shock. Could this be the day my fashion fantasies become realities and I Rock the Faux Fur , I thought to myself? In pure disbelief I didn't even bother trying to get to the fitting room. I took her off the hanger and tried her on in the middle of the store and trust me when I tell ya I could suddenly hear the angels sing! She was everything I'd ever dreamed of and I was so excited I popped the tag off immediately and wore it to the register. I kinda think you could tell that maybe I wasn't used to rockin furs and the cooler weather because a couple of the people inside the store joined me boosting my ego and saying how nice it looked on me. By this time I was already way ahead of them and having visions of me taking pictures with Mary J. Blige on the red carpet, both in our furs of course (lol)... I could go on and on but in fear of sounding like a deranged faux fur wearing lunatic I'm gonna stop here but hey, What are some of your Fashion Fantasies and how far are you willing to go to make those fantasies a Reality?

I had too much going on while I was in Atlanta to take pictures of the actual look on the day I wore the fur so I headed to my neighborhood park to get some shots so I could share with you all.

Didn't want to take any attention away from the Fur so I paired it with a simple LBD for photo purposes.

I've actually had these shoes for a couple years but of course I luv adding animal prints to anything and I like how they complete the look.

Happy Monday Readers of the Flirty N Fab! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as I did! Friday night I had the pleasure of going to Hardrock Hotel and Casino with some of my favorite ladies and what a night we had....We started off by having drinks at the world famous Irish Pub and then headed to Pangea to dance the night away. This is what I rocked for Ladies Night!

I bought his dress a couple weeks ago from Mint in the Dolphin Mall and I gotta say this purchase made me proud. I wanted to add a pop of color to the Navy and white frame so my red platform peep toe slingbacks were perfect for the job!

You ever look at an outfit and immediately have questions about what the designer was either drinking or smoking when they created a ridiculously Expensive,Ugly outfit? That's exactly what happened when I laid eyes on this House of Holland $1074.30 Harem Jumpsuit. Did the designer feel as though the people who could afford to buy this frock would have poor enough taste to purchase and wear it? Did they fear it would end up on someones' worst dressed list? Who did they have in mind to wear this look? What questions come to your mind looking at this Frock, or Am I all alone with my Questions?

I was reviewing some of my older blog posts last week and I realized I am quite harsh on Jennifer when it comes to her fashion sense, which from the way she sometimes dresses I find fully justified. Then I have to remind myself that just because a person loses weight does not mean they are going to have a better perspective on style, it just means they will wear a smaller size. When I reviewed pictures of Big Jen I realized that her style was basically just as off then as it is now. So today instead of bashing Jennifer's wayward style, I'm going to applaud the effort she's making and simply pray for the Fashion Gods, Weight Watchers, Neffie from Dream Girls, Winnie Mandela, Punk, Rachel Zoe, or anyone for that matter to offer some assistance to my friend Jen! For the life of me I can't figure out why 2 very beautiful women would want to appear in public looking this way...Were there no mirrors available after they got dressed in these frocks with matching hideous shoes? I mean Mila was just appointed the new face of Christian Dior yet in this awful Prabal Gurung dress she insists on giving me Elderly Block Couture! Jennifer seems to be relatively new to the whole fashion game but she can either chose to get a reputable stylist quick or Poof Be Gone! Today I did two of my most favorite things which are get a pedicure and visit the Ft. Lauderdale Hardrock Hotel and Casino. Take a look at how I spent my Super Fab Day!!

For my pedicure I chose to go with this beautiful green color. I'm sorry I forgot to get the exact name off the bottle but I luv,luv, luv how it gives my feet that POP of color.

Its amazing how something as simple as getting a pretty color on your feet can give you such a bright outlook on the days ahead.....

When I first arrived at the Hardrock I did what was only right, pay a visit to Wet Willies to pick up a Bob Marley drink, and took a brief tour at the Indian Musem and Zoo. Meet Mr Alligator...

These 2 Diva's looked great so I had to take a picture with them!

These pictures were taken on the inside of the Bongo's Cafe....This is where you go for dinner and great music when you wanna keep in Grown and Sexy!

Maccimo is one of the great stores at the Hardrock if you want to get some shopping done.

This was pretty much a spur of the moment type trip so my outfit is very casual. I went with a casual white tank and a pair of tangerine cut out skinny jeans. Cute yet Fab!!

So I received a couple emails about the shoes I wore in my Manic Monday post and wanted to give you guys some additional information about them.

I bought them from Charlotte Russe and lucky enough for me they were the last pair available and just let me tell you theses are the most comfortable boots ever. It almost feels like I'm walking on clouds when I wear them and with a 5.25 inch heel, who could ask for anything more? These boots are both classy enough for the 9-5 and sexy enough for Girls Night Out and with a price tag of $20 there's no way you can go wrong! How do you roll?
