Starting today, this blog will be an extension of my other blogs. The Mommy thoughts will be posted here. So keep visiting.

We are yogurt drink lover. My boy loves to drink Yakult drink and glad to have other competitor in the market. Do you like it on its original flavor? or fruity ones?

We are into computers. Hours are spent in front of the computer and most of our bonding are on discussion of what startegy will the little kid use on his games. My son loves to play games on the PC and yes, we allow him during his free time. And we are happy to have a responsible son who stops when he was told even if he is unwilling.
In 2009, problems never failed to show up on my door and it really literally threw me out of balance. I was tackling problems, one after another. Different emotions was also being dealt with, of course. The highlight of all the emotions is my frustration. Yep, its almost new year and the frustration is starting to creep on me again.

All I wanted is a house of our own and a hubby who shares that want. But it seems I will not get it so I have to stop myself from keeping my hopes high.

That is one resolution I have to keep for this coming year. I think its about time to resolve things on my own. This conjugal thing does not work in our relationship.

Happy New Year everyone.

My boys are both asleep and I am about to go to bed myself. Last week has been a very hard week for me at work.My little boy had some great news: He is in the top ten of his class (placed 7th, for this quarter) and he will be competing in a quiz bee next week. I am one proud Mommy.

For tomorrow, here is my to do list:
1. Finish
             - my meeting minutes
             - boss' presentation for an event
             - schedule of review for the undergraduate studies

3. Buy little boy's supplies

There goes my publishable to do list. I have a more detailed one on my head write now but I guess its getting late. I have to catch some sleep first.

The internet is an extension of our everyday offline life. Both Great Husband (GH) and I spend few hours a day on internet. GH loves Manga and gadgets so basically his surfing time is spent on making rounds of visit on his favorite Manga sites and reading the downloads afterwards. I, on the other hand spend most of my time on the internet to read information and find opportunites where I can earn money through online writing.

Lately we had a financial problem due to our two credit cards. Whenever my day job calls me for a work-related travel, the finances management falls to GH's lap and hence I have to rely on his frugality to keep everything in order. But since GH don't bother to write or calculate the expenses we overcharged from the original budget.

By now you get the entire picture of where I am getting at. For three months (with birthdays and holidays to attend to) our debt mounted to 30k.

Not big enough to have the credit card people on our tails but just enough to freak me out. So we have to start with the adjustments on how we spend money.

With the cooperatives that GH have, he was able to raise the 30k to pay off the debt. He also received a total of 10k from his mid-year bonus hence we have around 40k to workout with.

We were able to pay off 30k and save the 4k for the life savings. The online earnings of around 2k was added to HB's kid savings account and we were running on a budget of around 30k a month.

I know that I am still a little bit behind with the credit card debt paying lag but I was able to acquire a scholarship to go to graduate school. This new undertaking will be posting another 10k income for the family. So by this month I will be able to pay off the entire credit card debt and hope to purchase a new home or lot.

I have browsed and bookmarked sites about frugality and hope to make use of them when I find time. But for now, I have to finish the 5 article that is due tomorrow. This will be worth around 2k so I think by the end of the month, with the paypal money that i have HB's savings will be around 10k. The 10k hopefully is going for a time deposit account.

Goodnight folks, no photos yet since I am still trying to make things organize with all the blogs and online jobs and of course the day job that I have.

The festival for our saint is tomorrow so I think there will be some guests that will dropped by the house.

On the technical career, I think it will make me happier if this day job is just a few blocks away from home. Commuting for two hours is exhausting and I think for someone who have a pre-school to look after, this is almost a superwoman thing to even imagine. But I am doing it, every week days. And I still have a writing jobs to do on weekends and weeknights.

How do I survived it? Determination. And writing is my outlet from stress, so the part time writing gig is more of a recreation for me.

HB on the other hand is getting taller each day. Last time I checked, he was mistaken for six years old. I am not sure though if it is a good news. Sometime HB is being treated like a six years old and I think this three year old boy is still on the stage of insisting his ideas and opinion. So basically, because of his height he is receiving unfair treatment from us.

sigh. poor HB. But I think he is adjusting, and getting more responsible everyday.

And sweeter too.

GH is already fast asleep and its a good thing because he needs all the energy for tomorrows activities. He will be baby sitting HB while I am on my day job.

Its almost midnight, I think I have to call it a day.

Till next time,folks!

I was literally up to my sleeves with HB as the busybody that he normally is.

The day started around 8 in the morning when HB woke me up because according to him he is hungry. After several minutes of asking him what he wants for breakfast, I found the adorable kid chatting with his GPs. So I went back to bed when I saw the GM started fixing him a healthy breakfast and fell asleep.

It was supposed to be a deep sleep but I think I have been sinking in and out of consciousness because I remember seeing HB taking something from the closet, which I assume are his day clothes and giving me a hug before rushing out of the room.

Not bad for a day, huh? Got some writing gigs today, which happens to be submitted few minutes from now.

Talked with P ( gourgeous guy from US) on the yahoo messenger and played with the kid.

Nothing much to do except wondering how will I be able to schedule and appointment with my doctor for the results of my pap smear test.

So, with baby boy asleep and HB watching after him I will be finishing the three articles and submit it to my part-time boss.

Have a great day, guys.

There are lots of things to do and weekends are not an excemption. But I always make sure that I have that time of the day where I can organize my thoughts without worrying that handsome boy (HB) will interrupt or feel neglected.

Motherhood is the most satisfying career and for almost three years now I have been juggling between changing nappies and writing reports. Although most of the time I end up extremely tired by the end of the day, the thoughts that I have HB and GH with me would always keep me more energetic the following day.

How do I manage both careers?

Motivation and Love.

I am no cook, and I have been relying on househelp most of my days so domestic chores is not much of an issue between me and GH. I am lucky enough to have someone who tolerates a non-cooking wife. The HB usually spend morning till the time that HB and I are home with his Grandparents (GP).

So I can still write scraps of articles and get paid for those intellectual juices and can snuck after work (if I am lucky) to meet with the girlfriends.

Lately I have to take on another priorities, which is going back to school. It would definitely cover whatever extra time I have for the part-time jobs but at least I am going back to school on full scholarship. Isn't that great?

I hope this is not a boring stuff I have been blabbing about. But there is not much topic to talk about so talking about myself and HB andGH is a better option than staring at a blank page in the pc monitor.

I dont have any outline on what to write here. Basically it will be on what a Mom is thinking on particular days and of course, a technical person on most days. Maybe a little of the student will be showing up on some of the entries but I worry that you might get bored to sleep.

This entry is a little bit longer than I have planned so I have to give it a rest for now. If I come up with something to say, maybe I might get back online to talk.

Have a good night sleep.
