Ooooh yeah! I've been waiting for this one. I didn't know that the Frye Carson Riding boot would be created but I have suspected it might be coming. (It seems that the Carson collection continues to grow - and grow in popularity as well.)

With this boot we have the fabulous combination of classic western style and a riding boot (equestrian) design (15 1/2" boot shaft height). The leather is luxuriously soft and supple - it might just be the perfect boot for women, at least in my book. =)

The Frye Carson Shortie is a new and fun addition to the Women's Frye Boots lineup - a shorter version of the original Frye Carson Boot. This is the perfect boot for ladies who like the look of a shorter boot, and will look great with skirts, pants, you name it!

At this writing (August of 2009), since the boot has just come available recently there might not be as much selection as with the other styles of boots - I will keep this site updated with new colors as they are released.

The Frye Carson Boot styles are well known for not only their gorgeous looks and wonderfully soft and supple leather - but for their ability to be worn all day without a problem - they're amazingly comfortable. So - it is possible to look great without discomfort after all! =)

2009 seems to be the "year of the Carson" when it comes to the women's Frye Boots lineup - they have become increasingly popular - at an even quicker pace when newer styles were released (see details on those other styles here on this site).

The Original Frye Carson Boot is the one that started it all - a pretty amazing fashion trend in women's boots. The Carson is a gorgeous western ("cowboy") boot with a sharp look - but smooth and feminine curves. They have a bit of a "slouchy" upper, made with a soft vintage leather.

The heel on this boot is perfect - it comes in at 1 3/4", which is not too tall to be uncomfortable yet high enough to add some real flair to the overall look, the boot shaft is around 13" which is the perfect height for a women's western boot in most cases.

The Frye Carson Boot is available in a number of great colors - all of them are shown above, and none of them are lacking in style! =)
