We stay at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso when my wife and I travel to Riviera Maya, Mexico. They have their own golf course and one of the perks while staying there are 2 free rounds per person when we stay there 5 days or longer. The rounds of golf are attached to your room so if you spouse doesn't play, feel free to use all 4. Here are some quick pictures of the course.

Is it the location of where you're traveling to or the activities available while you are there? I think it depends on where you are traveling to in order to better answer that question. If you want to get away and not have contact with the civilized world than activities won't be on your list. On the other hand, going out and experiencing different activities can be a very exciting part of being on vacation. If you are looking for both of these aspects, then definitely plan a trip to Cabo San Lucas. Cabo is located at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico. Surrounded by the Sea of Cortez on the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west, you'll never run out of picturesque moments while on your vacation. One of the must sees in Cabo is the The Arch at Lands End. The Arch is a naturally made stone arch that has been created over time from the ocean. Truly an amazing sight and a must see while you are there.

The activities available in Los Cabos seem to be endless. Take a trip during the day to town and you'll have shops galore to find trinkets and souvenirs. If you're content to lay on the beach all day and head out for the nightlife, then you'll find numerous bars and restaurants all over town. Typically there are no covers for the bars, so it's a great town to create your own bar tour. The restaurants tend to be small and family operated so they are great places to enjoy true Mexican cuisine. Some of the big name places to go while you are there are Cabo Wabo, Rips Bar, El Squid Roe, and The Gigglin' Marlin. Those are some of the more commercial places, but you'll find quite a few local dives that are just as fun.

No matter what you like to do - golfing, surfing, snorkeling, excursions, nightlife, or laying on a beach everyday, you’ll find an ideal blend of invigorating and relaxing things to do throughout Cabo San Lucas.
