Flight Simulator Water Configurator v3.15

This incredible freeware shader control utility will allow you to change the FSX water shader tone and reflections in real time without rebooting the simulator. The utility comes with predefined profiles for FSX and Acceleration Missions along with favorite profiles of the development team. The utility allows a user to modify or create their own personal variation of water light/tone/reflection settings and save them for use or to share. This freeware utility has a 'soon to come', currently under development, restricted use freeware SDK for all developers to refer to in creating their own freeware weather connection plug-in for real time changes to FSX water rendering response. This version corrects a installer issue from v3.0 and includes a patch for those who may still be using the original release and need the patch support to upgrade with ease.

gmax gamepack

This is the coplete gamepack for gmax including FS8,FS9 and FSX. Easy to install, instructions are include in the package. It contains the stuff necessary to open gmax in the proper mode for each one of the FS versions and to call on the export modules to compile the object the way the respective FS wants to see it. Each of the three game packs (one for each version of FS) contains a shortcut to start gmax the respective way. If you wish, make copies of those shortcuts to your desktop or Quick Launch. In Quick Launch they will all look alike, so my guess is that you'll place in Quick Launch just the one you use the most. Exporting for FSX is no-where near as easy as for FS2004 (FS9). I haven't done much of it, so I will refrain from making comments on how to get the GUID numbers, etc. You will have to figure that out yourself.

Scenery for Abu Dhabi, for FS9 only. This scenery contains a version of Abu Dhabi airport that should hopefully be current for at least the early part of 2010, when new apron space and hangarage comes online. The airport is currently having a midfield terminal built that will be on-stream in 2012 (represented here with rough building works and no surface detail), but the southern (existing) part of the airport is in more detail, which you can look at in the screenshots. The scenery is incomplete, since MM has not the time to spare to keep up with the project, so it is released "as is" in a usable state.

Douglas C-133B Cargomaster FS2004 Pro. The C-133 Served as the USAF's only turbo-prop strategic airlifter from 1956 to 1971, when wing fatigue caused their retirement. The C-141 and C-5 then took over the "Weanie Wagon's" role. The main mission of the C-133 was to transport the USAF's range of ICBM's to their bases,and to move many oversized cargoes long distances. One being a ship's propeller and shaft to New Zealand. First version was the C-133A, serving at Dover AFB. The last dozen or so were the C-133B version, with new clamshell doors and more powerful engines.

This one is to automatically fly at mach 3.0 and 80000+ft and then manually for cruising speeds up to mach 3.5. It was inspired by an email contact with a real SR-71 pilot who spent 4 years and about 500 hours in the cockpit and knew her well. It became obvious that the normally quoted maximum of mach 3.2 was indeed the normal cruising speed and that the Blackbird was flown safely at faster speeds particularly when out running launched G-A missiles capable of mach 5. In a training mission over Arizona at 81000 feet, a pilot below asked for a GS check, 90 knots came the reply. A navy F-18 joined in, 620 kts on the ground the reply. Too good to miss, the RSO asked for a check from 81000 feet, the startled ATC officer answered.

Thomas Hudner AFB is a fictitious Air Force Base located at Henderson Island, a member of the Pitcairn Islands in the Pacific. Located in a sheltered bay on the east side of the island, the airport features a 7500' x 120' paved runway, several hangars, barracks, and a fire dept. This airport also features a Delta V rocket and launch pad, a container ship being unloaded offshore by hovercrafts, and a small military ship. The default FSX scenery at this island has been completely replaced with custom scenery and terrain based on satellite photos. This scenery requires the FSX Acceleration expansion pack for all of the objects to show up properly. Also, for some reason, Ground Environment X causes the sand textures to show up as rain forest. This is purely a visual quirk and the airport will still work, but it will look odd. This airport is not designed for FS2004, but you may try it at your own risk.
