How about I make it up to you with 4 mixes? They're not tracked out, but they are loosely organized by sound. There are two rock mixes and two electronic ones. No art, just loosies. I figure that no one burns cds that much anymore, so you can just load all of these into your itunes and whatnot... Does track order really matter all that much?

Hopefully I won't have another few months of radio silence.

How've you been?
I promised the leftovers from the previous month's mixes, and I uploaded them but didn't post. Well, here it goes.

Part 1:

Part 2:

These aren't formatted like I normally do. They're just free range tracks. I hope you enjoy in the interim until I can compile a new mix. This should be done in the new two weeks.

Let it be a surprise. You'll enjoy something, hopefully. I mean if you have downloaded anything from here before then you at least have a vague idea of what to expect(Fall Out Boy and Dashboard Confessional worship, obviously).

Sorry it has taken me so long. These two mixes are pieces of two mixes from June and then a smattering of things acquired since then. I have a ton of leftover tracks and will probably upload those at some point soon(maybe next week). Seriously, enough leftovers to fill 3 more mixes...

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy these. Click the covers to download the individual mix.
What the Hell? Well, I got a job that had me running weird weekly shifting hours, but I've now settled into a steady shift. Blah. I know dubstep is dumb now and your mom told you to stop listening to it, but I couldn't help including that Widdler track. Anyhow, here are three rounds of what I love. Little bits of here and there. Something and Another are both new. Fun Times is actually a "lost" mix that I had hidden away for a rainy day. I think you'll enjoy all of this, or find something to enjoy out of all of this.

Something(a fairly standard rock mix)
This mix went through one revision. I love these tracks and am very fond of so much. Let it go. Just let it go.

Another(a fairly standard dance and hip hop mix)
Man, I love this mix. The good thing about not releasing anything for a month is the endless revision that I am allowed. I took out anything weak I found in this mix several times. What's left is a beefy delight... let it simmer or stew or whatever meat reference you desire.

FUN TIMES(another fairly standard mix of almost everything)
This mix is from early March. Maybe you've heard a few of the tracks by now, maybe not. Hopefully you'l enjoy it in full. It's got a decent amount of rock on it for the hardline synth haters.

Let me know what you thought of any of this. It's good to be back.

Batman & the Wonder Spot

hello,
it's been a little while. I got a new job in the meantime and haven't had as much time to properly digest music as I would normally. I imagine things will even out once i get a semi-regular schedule going. Anyhow, enough of that. We're here for the music, right?

Both mixes begin with Jamie Woon's "Lady Luck". I did that to absolutely ensure that you hear this, no matter what your musical preference...

Batman is the typical rock mix and Wonder Spot covers various electronic and hip hop tracks. Understandably, the term rock is so broad and wildly encompassing. Just know that these tracks range from squall down to buttery pop. I'm fairly light on the squall this go around though.

Highlights!
*Tiger High is a new Memphis band composed of gruff(sometimes bearded) elements from The Bulletproof Vests, Antique Curtains, and even The Reigning Sound. Whew! Their debut album is the second coming. It's short, to the point, but covers enough sonic terrain to make you feel like it's so much longer than it is. There are no low points. All power.
*JEFF the Bro has a new album out and it's just as great as their debut.
*Holy Ghost! are a new act out on DFA. If you don't know DFA, you've got some googling to do...
*Cheveu plays the Hi Tone sometime soon. I'm too lazy to check the date right now.
*Check out the video for "How You Satisfy Me" from Spectrum(Spectrum was 1/2 of the songwriting force in Spacemen 3. The other 1/2, J. Spaceman, went on to form Spiritualized).
*New Bill Callahan is new Bill Callahan.
*The Psychic Paramount-Don't play this at loud volumes for your Nana.

Wonder Spot!
Sounds filthy, but includes fantastic newness from the likes of:
*Thom Yorke, Burial, and Four Tet- Sorry, this IS a radio rip, but you'll get the point.
*Appleblim and Ramadanman- I'm not one for straight up techno(I'm also not a dance purist and have no real tangible knowledge of where one genre ends and the next begins, so with this serving as a disclaimer, I declare this techno), but this track does the trick.
*Pac Div never disappoints. With their major label debut around the corner, this will keep you satisfied until... I had this on repeat about 5 times in a row last week.
*Dom Kennedy for Mayor.
*Curren$y with the Mars Volta. Curious, eh? I'm so excited to see what's next.
*Siriusmo has really matured into his sound. A standout track from a standout album.

A lot of these tracks are hard to talk about, as there are no discernible lyrics and it's hard to tell you about a certain noise in the back of a song that sounds like dream metallic substances being melted.

This mix is loud. Starts off loud, middles in loudness and kinda flutters into dissonance toward the end. Lots of great punk and post punk, psych covers, soft and loud garage, stoner rock, etc.
highlights~
Disappears is one of the dudes from the Ponys and two dudes from the Boas.
Wire's new album is great, as is Smash. They flex it for some old guys.
Personal and the Pizzas I found out about during Gonerfest of this past year, but wasn't reminded of the album again until around New Years.
Bare Wires is ex-Memphian, now Oaklander Matt Meldon. He's also been a part of Snake Flower 2 as well as releases under his own name.
Natural Child gets down with Jeff the Brotherhood. That should be enough to entice you.
The Ty Segall/JEFF the Bro tracks are froma split between the two.
I don;t think there's anything insanely original about Thought Creature, but I seriously cannot stop playing their record. It's so catchy and snotty.
Ilitch is older than I am and I love it.
Nods to The Barbaras(who have now spread into the wind as members of The Magic Kids, Wavves, and Girls of the Gravitron, as well as Billy Hayes solo material). Prolific dudes, all of them.
I know little about Tera Melos, but I find the repetitive chorus to be infectious.
Zach Hill(drummer of HELLA) is featured on the Robby Moncrieff album.

Yes, I realized that I just talked about a lot of material, but it's hard to not find something you really like out of 27 tracks...

Without further GASFASmjsdrgdx:

Enjoy your weekend. Cuddle up on the couch with a mug of chili and some milk and play this loud enough to piss off your neighbor 3 houses(equal to 5 apartments) down. (Particularly Daughters and OFF!)

The Cowboy?

Happy birthday, Dan! This mix has nothing to do with your musical taste, but Hell, maybe you'll like a few of them. This one has some pretty ponies(the mix following this one will actually have one of the Ponys on it. Cheers if you understand this).
Mister Heavenly is one of the few Sub Pop bands that was signed before the label had seen them perform live a single time. The band consists of Nicky diamonds from Unicorns/Islands, Honus Honus of Man Man, and the drummer for Modest Mouse/The Shins(I forget his name...bad fan?). Michael Cera has also been known to play live bass for them.
Smith Westerns track is T-Rex-ish in a good way.
Lykke Li gets re-twerked by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio.
blah blah blah Tennis
Ducktails featuring Dent May and Panda Bear
New cut from the new Feelies record.
some weirdness follows
Dreamend is interesting. He's a member of Black Moth Super Rainbow and is the head of the label that they release on. This music sounds nothing like BMSR, which I'm fine with. It's nice to see artists branch out and do their own thing.
Com Truise is a new signee at Ghostly International.
Sabres of Paradise is old WARP Records material.

Hope you find something that makes you go happy.
I'll be releasing another mix on Saturday. Happy snow day, Mempholk.

Two Socks' No Socks

Oh boy, what a few weeks. Great music I've found, but I'm still playing catch up as far as putting out mixes. I've been trying to space them out, but I now have a back log of 4. Today, I present Two Socks' No Socks.

I do have Big Love for this mix, from start to finish. Favorites are the Savage Skulls/Robyn track, Duck Sauce's take onChromeo, Dom feat Gucci, Star Slinger Vs Teams(if you're in Memphis, Star Slinger plays Hi Tone in March with Anticon's Baths), Chali 2na with Rusko(WHAAAAAA), Nocando on top of El-P, Big Krit with soul band Grillade(Tops), the weirdness that is Sub Swara with Dead Prez(where the hell have they been?), and the ever wonderful and talented Theophilus London.

I almost forgot the Lone track. It's so weird and scattered, yet driving. Much appreciation. I get some citrus notes.

BLURGLE:

More mixes will probably follow shortly. I've had this one uploaded for about a week and a half, but have just been lazy...

Love,
FAGL

Note: Not my left foot. The foot belongs to one Nicky Two Socks.

Age & The Carrot's Message

Well hot dog, it's been a little while! Constituency, how've you been? Happy new year and all.

I have much more to share as it's been a dog's age, but I don't want to overload anyone. I'll try to get back on schedule shortly. For now, I present a mix of softer, poppier rock music and one of dancey, bassy, and on occasion tender electronic and/or hip hop tracks. This feels like my first mix without an Aleon Craft track in about 6 months. Lots of familiar names to go around though. Some you might know from here, and some from their presence on Pitchfork/Spin/Rolling Stone, etc.

Hope you enjoy!

Age Highlights:
(for everyone, I recommend Age highly)
Anni Rossi-I don't really know much about her, but I like both tracks that are present here.
The Beck and Charlotte Gainsbourg tracks are both from a benefit compilation for the deaf.
Yuck is a new signee to Fat Possum Records and was also recently featured as a Rising act on Pitchfork. I used one of their tracks on a previous mix, but it sounds nothing like the one present here. I'll probably end up uploading their full album for all.

As always, click the image to download the mix.

Age:

Carrot Highlights:
I absolutely adore this Noah and the Whale track/Remix. It's so simple, but so catchy. The dark stabs that Chew-Fu throws in make me pee a little.
Gatekeeper is horrifying(DURP).
Obligatory bass ridden female vocal sampled tracks here include MIA and Kid Sister tracks being ridden hard by a Brit and a Viking god.
The Matthew Dear Breakbot remix is so sublimely strange. Just put the original out of your head.
jj go hard.
Star Slinger comes to Hi Tone in March on tour with Baths.
James Blake continues his rise.

Given that the Age mix is full of pop bursts, this mix also has plenty to give out. There really is something for everyone. Maybe I'm overextending my tendencies to try to please listeners of all varietals, but I truly do enjoy all of these tracks.

The Carrot's Message:

More to come later, brahs. Let me know what you thought/loved/hated/took nyquil to.

Everything's Eventual

I don't know how i missed it, but this is my 101st post on this blog! Woo! A Milestone for sure. A lot has been shared! Yay! Anyhow, this mix is great. Hands down. At first i crafted two mixes, but was shy about 20 minutes. Instead of adding filler, I went through and brutally chopped out an hour of music. What's left is what you have here. I may eat/use the leftovers later. We'll see. I'm very excited about this mix though. It's rather long at 25 tracks, but that just means there's more for you to love. Hope you enjoy!

Highlights/Notes:
The Aleon Craft Remix of Matt & Kim's "Cameras" should be enjoyed by such a larger part of the masses. Please spread this track!
Clay Otis & The Showbiz Lights is a project based out of midtown Memphis, TN. I love the sound so much! It's very fun, which reminds me, in general, of Clay. These are rough mixes, so look forward later to a full length.
Tracks 2 and 3 are drumtastic!
Thee Tom Hardy is a 21 year old protege of 9th Wonder.
I like the direction that Iron & Wine is taking with this new track.
Velvet Davenport. i dunno what to say here. "Lilly Girl" is my shit.

Without further mush mouthing -
Everything's Eventual

I asked for submissions for the cover and you guys responded outstandingly. Look for other submissions to be used in the near future. Most of them are way too weird to turn away! The cover that I used was submitted by Jim, but was taken by a friend of his, Joel, living in Utrecht, Nederlands. Check out the original picture's caption! http://picasaweb.google.com/ceph0761/Utrecht#5544625229958876930 I couldn't turn that down! Thanks for the support! Harpy Hloidyas!

Different One

Hello again and thanks for joining me.

The following mix is unlike every other mix that I have done before. it contains no rock or hip hop at all. It's made up of minimalist, ambient, and experimental music. There are no primary vocals on any of these tracks, and as such I would ask that(if at all possible) you listen to these songs late at night on headphones. This mix was inspired by some deep insomnia that struck me a few nights back. I hate the feeling of knowing that I've stayed up waaaay too late when i hear birds chirping and see the sun's orange husk bumbling over the twilight. Anyhow...

The first track was sampled most recently by Kanye West for his track "Blame Game" featuring John Legend contained within the dark twisted whatever whatever fantasy album.
The second track was used in the film 28 Days Later, additionally it was inspired by the Apollo launches and expeditions.
Tracks three, five, six, and ten are personal favorites. The Polmo Polpo track in particular always stirs some deep sadness within me. I once attempted listening to Eno's Music For Airports while in an airport. I find it much more suitable to the bedroom.
The ninth track was sampled by RJD2(I forget what song he used it in..."The Proxy" maybe?).

Don't let Ben Frost scare you at the end. If you are falling asleep with this on, you might wake up during one of his tracks...

Hope you don't mind this supremely weird one off. I'll be back to normal mixes soon :)

Have a wonderful night. The cover is Salvador Dali's Sleep.

Red and No Name

Sounds like a Kris Kristofferson song. Anyhow, here are two fine mixes. Standard fare, really.

Highlights for me:
Casa Castile, who i know absolutely nothing about.
Mice Parade
Bedrooms of the Nation
Levek
Caribou Vibration Ensemble, which was a group that Dan Snaith got together for ATP in Monticello, NY in 2009. It consisted of Four Tet, Marshall Allen(of Sun Ra), Koushik(Stones Throw), and had a total of 4 drummers.
Woodsman
I tried to use relative no names that not many have heard of(excepting Caribou, Girls, on the rise Tame Impala and possibly Pissed Jeans/Mice Parade).
Red

Standouts:
Tobacco
Smoke DZA
Wave Machines
Dark Party

That's not to say that the rest are worthless. I think both of these are pretty solid mixes. The rock mix ends on a louder note and the electronic one ends on a weirder one. There's plenty of pop and happiness to go around too though...
No Name:

Enjoy folks.

Thanks to Arjan and Dan for cover images.

Weird Pains, Fat Swag

Don't feel very wordy, as I just woke up. Hope you enjoy these.

Notes on Weird Pains:(Rock Mix)
John Darnielle of Mountaingoats fame makes up half of The Extra Lens(formerly Extra Glens).
Citay is comprised of ex-Piano Magic and ex-The Fucking Champs.
The way the guy from Porcelain Raft pronounces "Tip" makes me giggle snort sometimes.
The Eno tracks are both from his new Warp Records debut.
The primary producer behind Donso is Ed Banger Records' Insane-O son, Krazy Baldhead.
The Reatard/Deerhunter tracks are from a split 7 in. from 2008.

Notes on Fat Swag:(Electronic/Rap Mix)
The James Blake track is a Feist cover, and is the initial single from his upcoming full length. I'm superly on this guy's jock.
I don't know anything about Loden, but that first track makes me supremely happy.
The Big L track is not necessarily a new one. He died in 1999, but the label powers that be have seen fit to lift old verses of his and add new production underneath. This is a re-work of one of my favorite tracks of his "The Danger Zone".
Child Rebel Soldier is the bastard spawn of Kanye West, Pharell, and Lupe Fiasco. The first hint of the group's existence surfaced in 2007 or 08(I can't recall) on a Kanye Mixtape, but only as a snippet. Nothing was ever fully released until this track last week.
Teebs is a young up and comer on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint.
The name of this mix is admittedly dumb, but how many of them aren't? Anyhow, about the music...
There's little here by way of dance or hip hop. There's only one track that I'd consider experimental. This is just of note.

I'd never heard The intelligence until I read a pitchfork review of their latest album, Males. I checked it out and liked the whole album so much that I put three of the tracks here for your enjoyment. I can track down the full album again if you would like. Just comment. The Deerhunter tracks(excluding the remix) are off of their latest, Halcyon Digest. If you want a link for that, I'm happy to provide. Navajo Bixby has been seen around FAGL before on the Strand 1 Mix . I don't know much about French Horn Rebellion, but I bet you'll like it. Prettiness follows with Sunset, Houses, and a new Belle and Sebastian track. The biggest WTF moment of this mix has to come from El-P and Chin Chin singer Wilder Zoby. Apparently Zoby recorded the synth solo toward the end of the track in one take at 5 in the morning while incredibly drunk and stoned. Nothing like this has ever come out of El-P's fingers before.

I <3 TOBACCO(and anti-pop). I know you're heartbroken because there's only one mix here. I couldn't bring myself to plow your ears with a thousand songs at this time. Anyway, here:
I'm bringing 2 mixes today. One is the standard mix of electronic and hip hop music. The other is standard rock mix. For those that dislike metal and ear piercing garage rock, rejoice for there is none to little here(the PJ Harvey track maybe...). For those that do love it, I'll make it up to you later.

Abandoned Hospitals:(Hip hop/ electronic)

Soooo many tracks that I am really loving: The most laid back funk ever comes in the form of Jimix's Blackstreet "No Diggity" remix. The Prince-ly "Hot Raw Sec" of Jimmy Edgar is a track that probably made Chromeo simultaneously nut. TOKiMONSTA is a student of Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder Collective. Some serious words get spat in the Aleon Craft posse cut, the Black Milk track, and Ski Beatz collabo with Jean Grae and Jay Electronica(Wow!). Wait until the end of "Yoga Flame" from Aleon Craft for a huge dose of Stankonia era Outkast weirdness. I love it!
The Riz MC track is also a jam. The Rocketnumbernine track is taken from a recent Four Tet mix. I had to jack the track as I couldn't find an mp3 of it ANYWHERE and I am a master of finding things... :( Oh well, it'll do!

The Ram of Destiny:(Roxorz)

"Arrow" from Katryn Calder(of The New Pornographers-she was Neko Case's replacement) is a most excellent track to wake up to. Dude from Wakey Wakey is on one Tree Hill. I have no idea what that is, but i bet my little sister does. You may recall Maps & Atlases for their track "Solid Ground" which I included on It's Miller Time . Anyhow, they're an awesome band of what seems like proggy math rock masters making pop inflections. Think a cute Don Cab(possible?).

Some Memphis love goes out to 3D Acid Glasses. I really like their track "Sloppy Surfing". The Fresh & Onlys have tightened the Hell up. I likes it(they're playing Hi Tone in October for 8 dollars! Come on!). Restless People is a group of 4 dudes that have previously worked together on projects such as Tanlines and Professor Murder(if neither of those names mean anything to you, please ask me to upload them for you). The new women album is pretty grand(they play Hi Tone in October also). The Caribou track is a live one from a recent Daytrotter session. If you don't like jammy, kraut rock drone....step off of it. If you enjoy that kind of thing, enjoy the Women and Caribou tracks(almost 12 and a half minutes of goodness!!).

BONUS ROUND VIDEO(on the actual blog only http://fuckagreatlake.blogspot.com )

Theophilus London - Oops(Tweet Cover) Produced by Hudson Mohawke

I've said too much, too much. Before i go though, both of the covers came from Dustin Cruseturner circa 2004 in our adventures around Memphis. Can you guess where Abandoned Hospitals came from? If you guessed St. Francis, you guessed wrong. The Ram of Destiny lives atop my mantle now. Her name is Smermy Smarmy. Now I've really said too much.

The Third of Three: Cat Love

Welcome back! I hope you've had enough time to enjoy the first two installments of this trilogy of great. This one is jam packed for all sorts. Track two is a revived project of John Darnielle of Mountain Goats fame. Got a bit of Memphis love here(and no, I'm not necessarily counting Elvis considering the album that his track came from was called L.A. Gems volume something something); featured...Black Sunday is Alicja Trout of Lost Sounds fame, up and comers Magic Kids are present, and the always enjoyable Holly Cole. Wizard Smoke is from Atlanta. I got that track off of a compilation of all ATL bands/rappers. Several of the other artists were on the first mix of the trilogy(Stanza). I'll quit blabbering. There's a lot here. I tried to keep the heavy at the end... Plenty of pop is present, I promise...

The cover is a chopped up picture of a post card that I took at an antique mall a few weeks back.

Lemme know what you thought!

The Second of Three: HAZElwood

Second Installment! Yum! I hope that you enjoyed the first. This mix is filled with dancy psych yumminess from the likes of Caribou on down to the grooves of Fantastic Mr Fox. Upstarts aplenty; Lorn is a new releasee on Flying Lotus' Brain Feeder imprint, Kingdom has done work with A-Trak's Fool's Gold label, and i have no real idea who Ernest Ellis is, but I did his stuff.

I tried to range this mix, as I do with most. There're tracks for techno purists, as well as adoptees of bastard sounds. Hope you enjoy!

The last installment, the rock mix, will be out in a few days. Let me know what you liked/disliked here.

The cover is of Captain Hazelwood, the captain of the Exxon Valdez.

The First of Three: Monster

This'll be the first of three mixes that I'll be releasing over the next week and a half. My schedule on here has been out of whack. I hope you enjoyed the albums I uploaded a few weeks back. You'll find some of the artists within these mixes. The majority of tracks within these mixes are pretty new though.

The first mix is called Monster and it's roughly 82% Hip Hop. The other 18% is 1 track by Mr. Oizo & one of the dudes from Justice, and 3 tracks by the guys in Lazer Sword.

Enjoy!

It's been quite a while since I've doled out full albums. As you may(or may not) know, in the past when I have posted full albums, I have done so because I found them to be essential. Well, simply put, this has not changed. I find these nine to be no exception, and fully endorse all of them. For this bout, I'm going mainly electronic and all weird. Additionally, I've tried to bring you albums as diverse as I plausibly can while still making sure they're albums that I truly love(and not fake internet love for cred).

To stop blabbing and bring the goods:

1. Mount Kimbie - Crooks and Lovers

  info link: http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/14412-crooks-lovers/
For fans of: Four Tet, evocative soundscapes that range from bassy and club worthy to what feels like expansive claustrophobia might equate to. They're one of my new favorite "bands".
Mount Kimbie - Mayor

2. Nosaj Thing - Remixes

info link: http://www.myspace.com/nosajthing (a couple of the remixes are on his myspace if you'd care to preview before downloading)
For Fans of: Flying Lotus, weird L.A. beatmaking with backgrounds in hip hop and left field electronic music.
Radiohead - Reckoner (Nosaj Thing Remix)

3. Captain Ahab - The Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts

info link: http://captain-ahab.com/media/records/the-propagation-of-the-gospel-in-foreign-parts (This is a free live album that the band released)
Sorry, but here...take this.

Goofy titles in check. I think I have three really solids here. The first mix is all about poppier music. I'm not talking top 40. I'm just saying they're not scuzzed out with wailing distortions. That stuff is on the third mix. I figured since I had an overabundance of new music(thank you new internet connection), I'd split everything up to appease to listeners that align themselves more with one sound over another. The second mix is a mix of electronic music and hip hop. That's fairly standard for me. Nasty Beale's cover is dedicated to Thomas Nast(while using images created by him).

Fucking Flight:
This mix goes out to those that love poppier music(ie my girlfriend)

Nasty Beale:

Random Fandom:
louder and scuzzier than the other 2 mixes.

Cheers, dudes and dudettes! Comments are welcomed!

end piece: my favorite new Memphis band is The Sultana. I like Sunglasses, but at the same time i recognize their Animal Collective worship and try to move past it. I wish Best Coast put a little more into the lyrics of her Converse jam. I can understand though. Selling out must be pretty hard... Early Department of Eagles sounds just as lush as new Dept of Eagles. I like the horns a lot in Suckers "Martha". One of my nicknames is "Jerry", which is why that song is here. I really respect Mount Kimbie, and view them as one of my new favorites. Captain Ahab is hilarious. I love the shift at the end of "How To Party". Sorry if you have HBO and have already heard "I Need a Dollar" about a thousand times already. Dude from White Flight used to be a member of The Anniversary. I'm really liking Beach Fossils, but i guess everyone and their internet dad is. I dig the Vandelles as kind of a place to bury strangers light. Got a lot of rock out on the third mix between awesome color and unknown mortal orchestra. I threw in Sonic Boom to remind myself that everything that sounds like that wasn't made from 2006-2010. While I'm not crazy about the new MIA, I(am not going to finish that thought).

Enjoy.

Space Animals(Bear and Cat)

so, dudes, it's been a couple of months and I apologize in a most huge manner. I was out of the country for a long long while, and then internet incapacitated for a few weeks as well. I do so hope that you will enjoy these. I realize that very little of this is freshly released, but I'm hoping quality will shine through where fantastic newity may fall short. Again, sorry for the most heinous delay/dearth. I plan to get back onto an active schedule starting today.

I included a couple of Ty Segall tracks off of his latest in order to show his progression.
Faves for me are Dead Gaze, Bakesale(local love), both Ty tracks, the Theophilus London track(thanks Jimix), MBV, new Matthew Dear, both remixes of HEALTH, James Blake, Guilty Simpson, Mount Kimbie, and Deadmau5. It's easy to zone out to the Deadmau5 track. If you think you recognize Steve Mason's voice, perhaps you are correct. He was the singer of (High Fidelity) famous band The Beta Band.

Hope you enjoy! Comments are always welcomed. If you ever need assistance in finding any artist that you've liked from these mixes, let me know and I'll try to hook you up.

P.S. Bonus points if you recognize the space bear from somewhere.
