I had often considered doing a compilation of this phrase after I had heard it regurgitated after the latest weekly crisis blew by………but alas, someone beat me to the punch. And did it quite well, I might add.

Now, really, this is the most fucked up thing I believe I’ve seen in retail all year.  It certainly replaces the electric butt scratcher on my Christmas list to get for grandpa.

Chia Obama, in all honesty, is a brilliant marketing ploy. People that worship Obama will buy one to collect and display next to the Obama comic book, coin, dollar bill, memorial picture, inaugural toilet paper, and official Obama kitty litter collectible pan they got only 2 short years ago.

Surprisingly, I did not know that the Chia Obama was released in 2009 and promptly taken off the shelves because it was touted by some (not me) as being “racist”. Just goes to show you how fucked up society is when a clay figure that grows weed out of it’s head is deemed a racist item. How can it be racist?

Nevertheless, the Chia Obama heads were swiftly and indignantly whisked off the retail shelves - censored by the overlords that protect Obama’s frail and fledgling image. As if fucking clay pot of weed seed is going to tarnish Obama’s image. LMAO. He’s doing that all by himself.

Glad to see the ole’ noggin’ bearing the resemblance of our superhero Peskident has surfaced just in time for Christmas shopping! I mean, just LOOK at this fucking thing! LOL

I’ve had such a bad week - no……..such a bad month that this was a welcome and deserved ROFLOL. Besides, the “real” Commander in Chia is the reason I’ve been squalling all month.

Birnbaum was scheduled to testify before the House Appropriations Committee Thursday morning about the oil spill but she will not appear, Fox News has confirmed. Her deputy, Secretary David Hayes will testify in her place alongside Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.

Well, now, isn’t that convenient?

Without question, this move is highly suspect. The ONE person that SHOULD be appearing at the House Appropriations Committee questioning is Elizabeth Birnbaum.

And now, conveniently, she is out of government completely. She reportedly is not being reassigned. My question is, regardless of her assignment or job within the government, WHY isn’t she still required to appear before the House Appropriations Committee concerning the Deepwater oil rig explosion which happened under her watch?

WHAT NOW is the Obama administration TRYING TO HIDE?

Mark my words. She knows something. She knows a lot. It is obvious that she was fired for what they DON’T want to get out during the questioning. She wasn’t fired for her incompetence. If people in the Obama administration were fired for their incompetence, then Geitner would have been fired days after he came into the Obama administration. And many of Obama’s cabinet would have followed!

The Obama administration does not fire people because of their incompetence. I wonder how much Elizabeth Birnbaum’s silence has cost the American taxpayers.

We Are Here For The Price Family!

Here is the deal. Midwest Realty Management of Oshkosh, WI reportedly has informed Charlie and Dawn Price that they have to remove an American flag they have been displaying through their own window (from INSIDE!) or face eviction due to a company policy that bans the display of flags, banners and political or religious materials.

This is a travesty. Charlie is a veteran. Charlie is to be revered and commended for his service to his country, his people and his country’s FLAG, the very symbol of our collective country that exists in spite of politial or religious views.

Is Midwest Realty Management evicting people that have American Flags on their LICENSE PLATES? There are probably several HUNDRED of THEM out on the property. Are they issuing eviction notices to little boys and girls that wear flags on their t-shirts? Are they going to evict police officers that happen to rent in the apartments because they have an American flag patch on their uniform that they wear and display DAILY? What about those pesky American Flag TATTOOS?

Doesn’t Midwest Realty Management realize that the American flag is the very symbol of the country that has given them the rights and the freedom to run their own business in the United States of America?

If Midwest Realty Management of Oshkosh, WI doesn’t realize that people should honor, respect and display the American flag proudly, then perhaps they should pack up their management business and move to Mexico. In addition, the flag is INSIDE the Price’s rented home. It is not a permanent fixture. The Price’s did not paint the walls or make structural changes to their rented area.

Isn’t is funny that there are billboards with silhouette’s of nude women advertising massage parlors and strip clubs (hilariously referred to as “gentlemen’s clubs” - hahahaha) littering practically every major roadway in America, beer and liquor signs galore and mosques being built throughout America (even planned to be built blocks from 9/11 Ground Zero now!!) and these things are okay to have out in public, but not the American flag? Wouldn’t you expect and want to see the American flag displayed before seeing any of the rest of the garbage?

I Have A Request

Would a kind, upstanding, generous, patriotic American PLEASE rent a HOUSE to the Price family at the same rate of rent they pay to Midwest Realty Management so that we can send them a permanent flag pole bracket to display their flag in front of the rented home in all it’s splendor, honor and glory?

The phrase “disaster Preparedness” seems to trigger images in one’s head of hurricane damage, the devastation of tornadoes or extreme floods. The phrase tends to be associated with “natural” disasters. But what about man-made disasters? What is the difference between natural and man-made disasters besides stupidity or plain bad luck?

The answer is nothing. A disaster is a disaster, and we all, as guardians of our families, are charged with making sure that we have necessary provisions on hand to deal with or cope with any type of disaster that may come our way.

Essentials of Disaster Preparedness

First of all, know your surroundings. If you live at the beach, in a flood plane, in “tornado alley”, next to a river, on a hillside prone to fire or slides……….well, you need to be very aware of the potential for disaster that affects your special circumstances.

Planning is essential. You may think that you are being smart if you stock a freezer chock-full of meats and vegetables. Are you being smart if your house and freezer is in a known flood plane? Electricity to your freezer is essential to the maintenance of your frozen foods. Will you have electricity during flooding situations? Probably not. What would work better for you? Vacuum-packed, water-tight packaged foods for long-term storage? Water-bathed, sealed foods stored in glass containers? Your planning should be specific to your area and your circumstances. Another example would be dealing with a home in a location prone to rock slides. A better plan would be to construct a “root cellar” into the side of a portion of the hill you are on. Have at least two entrances into the root cellar and also store basic provisions besides food.

Emergency Provisions Other Than Food

Food and clean water are usually the first things that come to mind when planning self-sustenance for more than two or three days. However, there are several other things to keep in mind that will affect your ability to survive. Weather, light, transportation, protection, shelter, first aid materials, medicines and clothing.

Try to establish a ready-made area of your home or special shelter outside of your home that has the essentials already in place that will sustain life for a set number of people. It is good to over-estimate your number of people by 2-4 so that anyone that “just happens” to be at your house would be taken care of. Think of the most extreme conditions in cold and hot weather and plan the available clothes or blankets accordingly.  If you are most worried about staying warm in winter, you should think about your alternative heat sources. Is there adequate ventilation? Fuel? Is it going to be a matter of life and death because of temperature or exposure?

A Preparedness List

This is the list from http://www.ready.gov/america/getakit/ It is a very comprehensive list that you should pay close attention to in devising your own plans.

Recommended Items to Include in a Basic Emergency Supply Kit:

• Water, one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation
• Food, at least a three-day supply of non-perishable food
• Battery-powered or hand crank radio and a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert and extra batteries for both
• Flashlight and extra batteries
• First aid kit
• Whistle to signal for help
• Dust mask, to help filter contaminated air and plastic sheeting and duct tape to shelter-in-place
• Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties for personal sanitation
• Wrench or pliers to turn off utilities
• Can opener for food (if kit contains canned food)
• Local maps
• Cell phone with chargers, inverter or solar charger

Additional Items to Consider Adding to an Emergency Supply Kit:

• Prescription medications and glasses
• Infant formula and diapers
• Pet food and extra water for your pet
• Important family documents such as copies of insurance policies, identification and bank account records in a waterproof, portable container
• Cash or traveler’s checks and change
• Emergency reference material such as a first aid book or information from www.ready.gov
• Sleeping bag or warm blanket for each person. Consider additional bedding if you live in a cold-weather climate.
• Complete change of clothing including a long sleeved shirt, long pants and sturdy shoes. Consider additional clothing if you live in a cold-weather climate.
• Household chlorine bleach and medicine dropper – When diluted nine parts water to one part bleach, bleach can be used as a disinfectant. Or in an emergency, you can use it to treat water by using 16 drops of regular household liquid bleach per gallon of water. Do not use scented, color safe or bleaches with added cleaners.
• Fire Extinguisher
• Matches in a waterproof container
• Feminine supplies and personal hygiene items
• Mess kits, paper cups, plates and plastic utensils, paper towels
• Paper and pencil
• Books, games, puzzles or other activities for children

Take The Time

Take the time to really consider what you face in any disaster situation. The really take the steps to compile and provide at least 3 days of survival resources for your family and a few extra people (should the situation present itself during a disaster) and follow through.

What, Mr. El Presidente? Is that pesky little oil spill ruining your focus on the Financial Reform Bill you are chomping at the bit to push on us like you did the so-called Healthcare reform? Is it creating too much of a distraction from your campaign for Mexico? Is it tarnishing your carnival atmosphere at the White House, where the scent of tacos and Calderon’s cheap cologne still lingers in the halls of Congress?

Obama is acting like an irritated child that isn’t getting their way. People are in trouble. The environment is in trouble. There is no clear or evident concern about the BP oil spill coming from Obama. There is obvious disdain and irritation from the inconvenience. BP’s oil spill is upsetting his agenda. He wasn’t counting on having to deal with something real. He is too busy concentrating his efforts on ushering in the New World Order structure so he can become the first leader of the North American Union. And trust me - there won’t be an election for that one.

“Just plug the damn hole” eh? Perhaps Obama should follow his own advise. I don’t know about you, but I’m about sick of seeing him on propaganda network television making a mockery of this country.

This is, without question, one of the most fucked-up outcomes of a two-year investigation since the bogus cover-up “investigation” of the 9-11 tragedy.

Reportedly, the U.S. concluded their two year criminal investigations of A.I.G., Inc, which was the recipient of enormous U.S. Taxpayer-backed bailout money funds. What was the outcome? The bastards go free. There is no one in jail. There is no one responsible for mishandling billions of dollars. There is no one responsible in big business at all, in any corporation in America. Just look at BP and the oil spill. Just this morning, someone on Capitol Hill stood in front of the awesomeness podium and said that if BP didn’t get the oil spill cleaned up right away, then they (the government) was going to “push them out of the way” and have something done themselves.

That is just ludicrous, isn’t it? Again, the government is stepping in and taking over where corporate America should be held accountable and responsible for their actions (or inaction, as it were). In BP’s case, they will quietly slink off in the corner and let Congress take all the heat while devising how to jack prices up on gasoline this summer “due to the oil spill crisis” as payback for all the “government help”.

And for A.I.G., Inc. and the principle players being “investigated” for 2 years:  Joseph Cassano, Andrew Forster and Tom Athan? There’s no evidence that these key people have been relieved of their duties at A.I.G. They were targeted (and most likely selected to be the fall-guys) in the investigation under suspicion of
investor deception with regards to mortgage-related credit-default swaps. What? These guys would misrepresent a ponzi-scheme to investors? Hard to imagine, isn’t it?

Lawyers for AIG reportedly stated that A.I.G. “at all times acted in good faith.” Sure they did! They were very earnest in pushing their shady deals and slight-of-hand policies onto any deep-pocket willing to listen and pony up. They had every faith that they could hoodwink and swindle their way to billions in profits with confidence that they would still hold all of the cards. They were selling items that they could never, ever pay out on based on rates of coverage. How is that not FRAUD?

The financial crisis will continue. A.I.G. is running amok without regulation, regard or responsibility. Business as usual.
